VFL Week 2 Power Rankings

1. Cowboys (12-6)

This team is in my opinion the best team in the league at the moment, the addition of fear and shady I think will benefit them greatly seeing how the cowboys fit fears play style. Brady’s line going 6-0 is not much of a surprise to me Brady dominates every season why would it be any different now? The real surprise to me is remix he is sitting at 4-2 with a 3-10 td to int ratio his game management and their defense seems to be winning them games! I can definitely see them keeping this trend up!

2. Dolphins (10-7)

This team has the best line in the league with ponchy and realest on the same line with nedley playing RB DL I don’t see them losing any games this season to be honest. They just traded the rytzo line for spacious horse Willy and explicit so I’m looking for the other lines to start picking up some of the slack Willy can carry a line and beaste is a top QB no matter what people say about him he will figure out how to win games.

3. Eagles (11-5)

I understand they have a few games missing but I do not think this team is as deep as the dolphins are champ Farah and accountant will ball out as they always do, TP will win games he’s a competitor and obviously they have the alpha male highwalker so this team is nice, I’m just concerned with their 3rd line. I do not consider them to be that solid. The website shows them to be 2-2 but I do not think this is accurate and I’m thinking they’re 3-3 at very best. However with strong enough 1st and 2nd lines the third line won’t be a huge handicap

4. Cardinals (10-7)

Rating a team lead by ebok this low is almost blasphemous, but with the loss of hexied and boxing I can see this team starting to hit a struggle streak, drock came in this week after being traded last week and played great! Ebok must have shown him some glitches. And with ebok snagging breesus from the Seahawks after an interesting transaction report this week i wonder if breesus can start to learn the glitchy ways of ebok to help this team out during this stretch.

5. 49ers (9-8)

AP boys are a solid 1st line and a great line 2 they can win a lot of games for you. Blk tmo and critical is probably this teams line 1 and with that line up most teams would be happy with them being the number one line! It’s the third line that I would be somewhat worried about with these guys but I can see them competing props to bhedden for building a solid roster after the storm he had on the dolphins last season!

6. Seahawks (9-9)

Mallard made his debut at QB this season with woohdy (MVP) as his RB and man they are off to an impressive start 5-1 is great they’re looking to be this teams line 1 and with a QB like koolaids on the team sitting at 4-2 this team will be making some noise. Again this team just needs a third line I also think they only have 6 players at the moment so let’s see how they recover. I don’t see them moving up much on this list if they can’t get together 3 more consistent guys.

7. Vikings (10-8)

The Johnny madden line has started the season at 3-3 and played some serious competition this line is going to be a problem the more they play. Johnnywheels recently got his guy wace at QB and this guy has a history of playing for a little bit then vanishing if he can stay he is actually a strong QB when his head is in the game! Areis is dogass

8. Raiders (7-11)

Ohio is struggling for the second season in a row but has made a tremendous amount of deals to bring in some new faces I hope he can turn the ship around and make a push this second half of the season for the playoffs!

9. Jags (4-12)

Recently trading for hucci and his line I can see this team doing what smitty and fig did last season and making a huge push for playoffs. Fig is a solid game managing QB and can win some games hucci just needs to find his rhythm again and he’ll be back to his top QB play that he is known for! I like this team moving forward

10. Giants (5-12)

Releasing ace was an interesting choice in my opinion he plays decent enough at QB to win games he may not be the prettiest QB to watch but who really is? Take out the top 3-5 QB’s in this league and we’re all pretty dogshit QB’s! Lucky is down BAD to this point in the season but he always always always finds a way to get it together. I’m starting to think he does this on purpose. Beach mode has played solid madden but just hasn’t been able to show a lot from it in the W column this should change but I am curious if it will be too little too late.

Camaros Predictions

With season 9 right around the corner I wanted to do an early season prediction and breakdown of each team. (This is not a list in order of best team to worst) let’s dive into these rosters!

49ers (13-23)

Unfortunately I do not see this team going super far by any means. They have the AP line which I predict getting half or more of their wins. This is a tough line to play against and they always have close games. I’m not 100% sure how the rest of their lines will look quite yet, I have a feeling telos behe and bhedden will be a line. I have faith bhedden can play solid QB but I think he has potential to let his ego get in his way. If I were him I’d hand the ball off to telos and let him and the defense win them some games.

Cardinals (26-1
0)

This team will be a powerhouse “super team” everyone always complains about. Hexied with Reebok and boxing will be an extremely difficult line to play against he keeps talking about a great run scheme with kyler and I’m interested to see what it is, as well as ebok gabe and crazy, ebok is one of the best QB’s in the league and gabe has always been a solid user. Breezus will probably hold the most losses on this team again but I think he’s a lot better than people say. I’m convinced it’s a troll to make sure he stays on eboks team.

Cowboys ( 25-11)

I see this team being a top three team easy. Brady dfeet and northside have always dominated in the league and hucci teaming up with Nate and trey is gonna be a dominant line this upcoming season remix bwall and wrnzo will be the only real question mark on the team however remix used to be a great QB back in the old VFL days and is just now getting his feet wet in the VFL with his rookie season being last season, bwall is a great WR DB and wrnzo is a great RB I can see this team being in the Super Bowl.

Vikings (14-22)

I can see this team struggling Johnny madden is going to be this teams bright spot Johnnywheels coming off a great season making playoffs after being the worst team in the league he will be looking to push forward with some more progress, however, spending 24 mil on the userb, red, areis line is not the best call imo areis and red are great players but userb will drag them down tremendously.

If this team makes playoffs it would be due to the lack of production by other teams imo.

Raiders (14-22)

Mr Ohio got some steals in this draft with sacrifice and tmo my issue is I don’t think drock is the best of QB’s and gets flustered easily. He will have tmo to help him a lot but I’m not sure if drock will be able to put up the points needed to win some of those closer games. I think gmen is a solid QB but I also believe he needs some talent around him I feel like he’s very inconsistent at times and that would be his lines biggest downfall.

Seahawks (18-18)

This team seems to be about a middle of the pack type of team to me. Koolaids line will win a lot of games and blk and brisket will be able to win you some games as well. I see mallard made the switch to QB this season and I am interested to see how he does. I think as a QB he would be their third best QB on the team and will be able to squeeze out some games but will rely on koolaid and blk to win most of their games as a whole.

Giants (20-16)

Mr top five himself is on the giants and I know he’s capable of winning games, his issue is he doesn’t adjust well and I’ve noticed he likes to be the star of the show. So when things aren’t going his way I feel like he folds easily. However I do think in that same aspect he always comes up big in clutch type of situations, it’s a weird phenomenon I don’t know how to explain. Ace boogs is making his return to QB and I think he can win games as a play caller but he has a tendency to turn the ball over quite a bit. If his teammates can keep the mood light I can see them winning some games. Beach mode is a QB that I’ve seen ply well and I’ve seen ply not so well but he’s always in a good mood and willing to keep getting better. I can see this team being one to keep an eye on

Eagles (22-14)

With the champ Farah and accountant line this team is expected to make playoffs in my eyes. They’ve always been a great line and I don’t see this season being any different. TP high walker and Ibprofam will be another line to keep an eye on. Highwalker switching back to WR is a good call because he is a great route runner and can get a lot of YAC the one line that has me a little concerned would be the Kobe salukvisn and cflo line I’ve played some scrims against them however I think they play out of position so it’s hard to judge I want to see how they do this upcoming season.

Dolphins (27-9)

This team imo looks stacked on paper you have rytzo rigs and mamba which will be a great combo rytzo looked great at QB towards the end of last season and rigs and mamba are great users to compliment rytzo play style. You have beaste Kyle and beefy which beaste will definitely win games and plays great defense the line that I think has potential to go 12-0 ponchy realest and nedley ponchy one of the best QB’s in the league if not the best realest one of the best DC’s in the league if not the best. Just creates an insane duo in itself. Also having nedley on the line to get ponchy and realest their water quickly will be a great addition to keep them pushing for an undefeated season.

Jaguars ( 12-24)

Smitty back at it again with starting the season off with a not so great looking team. I think fear and shady have potential to win a lot of games but I also know fear loves to just throw games instead of giving the ball to shady. Fig played great QB last season but looks to have switched to WR the other QB’s listed on their team aceboogie I know very little about however I know blunkey is a solid QB people love to poo on him but I know he has potential to win some games but almost always seems to randomly have scheduling problems come VFL games. I’d like to see how this team does this season but at the moment it’s tough for me to put them in the top.

Super Bowl predictions

I have the cowboys and the dolphins playing in the Super Bowl with the dolphins winning 4-1

Super Bowl VII PREDICTION

Season 7 super bowl starts on Sunday January 15th with the series being a best out of seven the first game kicks off at 9 eastern!

Both of these teams have fought hard all season and pretty much had two different paths to the super bowl in terms of rosters.

The chiefs, ran by Ebok, and Hucci, have had minimal roster changes this season the team you see now is the same team they drafted with the exception of Woohdy being called up week 3, meanwhile on the other side the packers ran by Clampby lucky and Redhour, have gone through roster changes like a smoker goes through packs of Marlboro Reds! Dropping c4use week one because he wasn’t getting the job done trading omni before the start of week 3, acquiring Hutch just for him to retire after a game or two picking up sacrifice and call me Kyle from the AFL this team has been through so much rumor has it that lucky is going to get a tattoo that says “only god can judge me”.

One thing these teams have in common, aside from being in the super bowl, both of these teams original GM’s quit on them early on Eboks (chiefs) original GM Iambeaste quit before the season due to not having the proper time needed to be a GM while the packers original GM Nedley had a disagreement with owner then known as “lucky dabs” aside from the eagles these are the only two teams to finish the season without their original GM. Interesting if you ask me.

To make it to the super bowl you have to have a deep team one line will not be able to get it done and both of these teams have a deep roster. In my opinion the chiefs roster has more depth. Strategy is the key if the packers want to win. If I were the packers I would want my worst line to match up with Ebok realest and Gabe twice. I think this line on the chiefs is one of the best lines if not the best line in the league. Realest is a great defensive play caller and Ebok is arguably the best QB in the league (when he’s not trolling) I would imagine if Lucky plays QB since he is struggling he may want to match up against this line to give the other lines easier matchups in the series to make their chances higher.

Meanwhile the packers top line is no joke. Hexied has proven to be a great QB with having the agg catch down and knowing how to contain it, maybe matching up line for line isn’t a bad strategy. I do believe a “hex v ebok” matchup in the super bowl will be a great one with the possibility of these games being split. (1-1)

Will lucky and the packers be able to beat the depth of the chiefs? I think it is very possible. This series has the making to be possibly one of the best super bowl matchups this rendition of the league has seen since it’s reboot in madden 22.

My opinions:

Chiefs have three great QB’s Ebok, Hucci, and Blksupersayian. Maybe Suoersayain is the QB3 on this team which he could be QB1 on most of the teams that played this season. That’s a scary thought for the packers considering self proclaimed top 5 QB Lucky has been struggling in the playoffs going 0-3 at QB and even switched to RB to allow their ECU Cruce to play QB for them and came out with a clutch win against Jamesmith. Sacrifice was dropped by the bills the beginning of week three and what a blessing that was for him and the packers, sacrifice has played phenomenal in the playoffs and has potential to be one of the teams X-factors in this series.

My prediction:

With all this being said these are simply my observations and opinions with that being said from my view point I see the Chiefs taking this 4-3 with Ebok realest and gave facing off against Hexied SBG boxing and Wrnzo in the game 7 of the super bowl that game coming down to a game winning field goal that is finally made by Ebok (can’t troll in a game 7)

Bhedden’s Team Bidding Prediction

With team bidding commencing tonight, I asked a few owners what their thoughts were on teams that’d be bid on. For the most part, all of our ideas were very similar and compiled below.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers & Buffalo Bills

I see both of these teams going for 10 million or more. The fact that they were both the Super Bowl teams last season and nothing has changed. High point passes from Tom Brady to Mike Evans will be as hard as ever to stop and there’s no containing Von Miller from rushing through the offensive line.

Green Bay Packers

Personally one of my favorite teams to play with. Aaron Rogers release is so fast it’s extremely hard to sack him. Christian Watson is one of the fastest receivers in the game and then there’s Aaron Jones in the backfield. Pair all of that with a decent defense and with any halfway decent Madden players, that’s a super bowl team.

Los Angeles Chargers

The fact that the Chargers as a team, weren’t very successful last season, probably won’t affect their value that much this season. They’re another great overall team, and having Justin Herbert gives them an added threat of being able to run read options and quarterback runs.

Philadelphia Eagles

With the Eagles success in the NFL, they’re likely on a couple owners radar now. Jalen Hurts and AJ Brown are a great quarterback/wide receiver combo, Miles Sanders is always a threat to break a big run due to his speed, and their defense is actually one of the best in the league overall.

Kansas City Chiefs

High point balls from Patrick Mahomes to Travis Kelce is as cheesy as Tom Brady to Mike Evans. I do think the Chiefs will get bid on, but in my opinion they’re not that great of an all around team. If you shut down Kelce, the rest of the team is sub par.

Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals offense is explosive, Ja’Marr Chase is almost impossible to stop one on one and Joe Mixon will stiff arm an entire defense into the dirt. They may not go for as much as the Buccaneers or Bills but the Bengals will definitely be one of the higher priced teams.

Potential Sleepers

There are a few teams I could see getting a bid on as a “just in case” scenario. Teams that are decent but not an owners first choice if it can be avoided.

Minnesota Vikings – Mostly solid team. Dalvin Cook and Justin Jefferson are beasts but Kirk Cousins at quarterback might deter a lot of bidders.

Arizona Cardinals – With DeAndre Hopkins back the Cardinals could definitely get a bid or two. One good receiver may not be enough to for them to be really sought after though.

Cleveland Browns – A team that would be great for a run heavy offense. Not many passing weapons probably makes them more of a last resort for most owners.

What Actually Happened

Since I couldn’t get the prediction article out in time, we will just combine that with the actual results into one big article. Here’s how the actual team building broke down:

DRock – Cleveland Browns (1.5 Million)

Aceboogs – Buffalo Bills (8 Million)

TPBraves – Cincinnati Bengals (3 Million)

eboK – Kansas City Chiefs (3.5 Million)

JohnnyWheels – Philadelphia Eagles (1 Million)

Abyss – Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6.5 Million)

TexasJames – Los Angeles Chargers (8.5 Million)

Lucky – Green Bay Packers (1 Million)

Turns out that most of these predictions were fairly accurate. The fact that there are only 8 teams kept the bids relatively low compared to last season. I was slightly surprised to see that the Chargers went for more than both Buccaneers and the Bills. Each owner was asked a couple questions about their bidding strategies and how they felt it went. These were their responses.

Lucky – I went into bidding wanting Chargers and I had them at 8 million for the longest time, but when I started adding up (how much he spent) and realized I might have made a mistake. So when James placed his bid on them, I was happy with getting the packers for only a million.

DRock – Browns for cheap was the plan going in, unfortunately we spent 500k more than expected. We went after Chiefs up to 3 million and the Bengals was going to go up 1 or 2 million more but we decided that we would take Browns with that run game, DeShaun Watson and defensive line.

Tpbraves – I was pretty sure which 4-6 teams were going before bidding, was also really surprised the Bills went for so much but they were in the Super Bowl last season. We all knew Bucs would be up there with the aggressive catch cheese.

JohnnyWheels – Bidding was good, I personally think we have too much money and too many teams to bid on. We had a pretty decent list, we went by as the bidding happened. We knew the Bucs, Bills and Chargers would go for a lot.

eboK – Bidding went better than expected but it almost went horribly wrong . I initially put 6 mil on the Bucs to get their price up but no one wanted to bid on them. I would’ve ran it back with big Tom & DOMINATED everyone but it would’ve been a boring ass season.

Abyss – I just wanted a team that could score points. That was the only thing I cared about.

TexasJames – Yes, we knew who we wanted going into the season. There was no amount of money going to stop us from getting them. We wanted to get ourselves one of the top teams. That being Chargers or Bills and maybe Buccs or Bengals. But we got the team we wanted (Chargers) and are very happy with the price.

All of the owners that I talked to were in agreement that the shortened team bidding was much better than last season’s. It will be interesting to see if the low cost of the teams will drive up the cost of some of the players.

Way to Early Owner Rankings, Predictions & Comparisons

Congratulations to the selected Owners for this upcoming season. This is a pivotal time for our league and possibly a new beginning toward something great, moving forward. Personally, my goal is to see everyone flourish and for us to band together and make this community stronger than ever. Cheers to everyone involved, below I’m ranking each owner 1-8 and doing an NFL coaching comparison.

#8 Johnny Wheels – Coaching Comp = Jeff Saturday

To start things off, we begin with the VFL underdog himself, Johnny H. Wheels III. A true underdog story, Johnny was once looked at as a very late round draft pick/ 3rd line player, but through major trial and error- he’s managed to become a well-respected/dedicated user in this league. Much like recently appointed HC Jeff Saturday, Wheels starts his Owner journey with a small sample size of experience but has phenomenal promise and opportunity to succeed.

#7 DROCK- Coaching Comp = Matt Rhule

DROCK aka Mr Tuxedo is back as owner for what is being called a “Make or Break Season”. Now on paper, he most certainly has the ability to lead his team to the promise land. DROCK is very active with In-Houses, he knows the game well and is more than familiar with the IN’s and OUT’s of being an Owner. The major question mark here is, can he put all his past experience to good use and prove all his doubters wrong? Similar to Rhule heading into the 22 NFL season, he will either sink or swim.

#6 TpBraves57- Coaching Comp = Kevin O’Connell

Braves heads into this season after coming inches away from a VFL title back in Season 6. I remember at the start of Season 6, Braves was an undrafted QB fighting for a roster spot on whatever team would have him. Fast forward to playoffs, Braves converts to WR and puts together a quite impressive 7-2 record. Similar to O’Connell, Braves has MASSIVE upside, but will be faced with the typical question mark for any newly appointed owner- Does he have what it takes to create and lead a team??

#5 AceBoogs – Coaching Comp = Doug Pederson

Ace has been here before, similar to my coaching comparison Doug Pederson. A true veteran of the VFL and back-to-back Superbowl finalist- Like him or hate him, results matter more than opinions. The true test will be forming a team that not only is cohesive enough to win but will get along for an entire season. Ace has the tools and the experience- the question is, what will he do with it this season?

#4 TxJamesSmithTX- Coaching Comp = Sean McDermott

Let the TxJamesSmith Hype Train commence! Smith is an owner that could easily be #3 on my rankings, but I decided to hold him back due to his commitment of playing with his friends over possible better VFL talent. Now it’s commendable that he showcases that type of loyalty, but will that loyalty cost him a chance at a title?

#3 Lucky- Coaching Comp = Kliff Kingsbury

At #3 this is a bold prediction for an owner that two seasons ago, almost pulled off the Ultimate Cinderella Story. Coming into last season, Lucky had an opportunity to solidify himself as a top-level owner. He aligned himself with one of the top RB/DC users “IBPROFAM” as his GM and secured at that time-quite possibly the most talented top level QB available for bidding “Shig”. Unfortunately, his team’s season fell apart due to his questionable bid selections and lack of chemistry between lines.. then his star player quit on his team 2 weeks before playoffs. Much like his coaching comp Kliff Kingsbury, this is a make-or-break season that will either end in glory or in flames. There is a rumor circulating between inner circles that pegs another highly touted QB stepping into Lucky’s GM role, we shall see.

#2 Abyss- Coaching Comp = Andy Reid

What more needs to be said about this next owner? From the time I joined this league in Season 3 to current day, Abyss time and time again has been an elite level QB and someone who is purposely avoided in line matchups every season. Last season his “downfall” was simple, instead of taking on the responsibilities of Owner, he decided to play second fiddle and GM for Groff. Is Season 7 his Revenge Tour???

#1 Ebok – Coaching Comp = Sean McVay

It pains me to publicly admit this, but last season Ebok and company put together a sensational championship run! Their season did get off to a rocky start and many doubters including myself, definitely let him hear about it in General Chat. Though, just like Sean McVay and the Rams in the 2021 NFL season, it’s not how you start- it’s how you finish. Coming into Season 7 now, Ebok and his future teammates will have a major target on their backs- heavy lies the crown and when you’re hands down the league’s biggest troll… major criticism comes with the territory.

VFL Season 7 Owners REVEALED

As many of you know this has been a difficult past month for the league. From the sale of the league happening midseason to finishing out what was a very poorly ran league to the finish line with a sloppy ending. But the new staff is promising a new direction with a much better foundation that will lead to a better overall experience. That change starts today with us staff selecting the owners that we believe, will do the best job developing competitive rosters and being role models in this community. So without further to do, I’d like for you to checkout our season 7 owners!

Abyss – Abyss has been a staple within the league. No matter what position he is in, he has always been considered a top player. Choosing to return as an owner this season, he will undoubtedly be the early favorite. Rumors have surfaced of Koolaidz or IAMBeaste will be looking to join him. When asked for a comment on his return to ownership Abyss chose not to respond.

Aceboogs – Aceboogs returns as an owner after falling just short of a championship. He is so close to achieving greatness he can almost taste that Super Bowl trophy. The rumor mill has not shed much light on his potential general manager choice this season, but a little birdy has whispered that Kuhrow could be making a return. When I asked about the upcoming season Aceboogs said:

“Another owner I wanna call out lucky  ebok and drock All of y’all are my sons and aren’t man enough for ownership and you’ll see in due time that any of y’all cant knock me off my grind my shine cause I’M BACK and I’m in my prime f*ck a ebok drock Sheetrock shmeock RAVENS IN 4 JUST WIN BABY

EboKstOp – Ebok has just finished winning his first Super Bowl championship and many would argue, the best season of his career. Being known as a bit of a troll, he has struggled appealing to many players on prior teams, pushing some into retirement. Hopefully ebok can find a better balance this season, focus on being an owner and not just a good player. When asked about other owners hating on him, ebok said:

I have nothing to say to these owners they should be more concerned with keeping up with the Super Bowl champ than reading my comments”

TxJamesSmithTX – TexasJames and his Chiefs were a favorite last season to make a Super Bowl run early on. Unfortunately, QB troubles and man coverage hurt on their way in the playoffs. Looking to get that first Super Bowl ring TexasJames is returning with a vengeance. He will most likely have Rogue Apollo as his general manager but the question has to be asked, is it time for him to cut the dead weight his friends carry and go for the title? When asked about this upcoming season JamesSmith said:

“I’m gunna take this time to call out Drock personally I don’t see how he is owner again between Drock Realest, and Areis they show the poorest and most pathetic display of ownership I have ever seen Its a shame to have them come back again I hope to see them on the field so they can show everyone the quitters they are”

Lucky Dabs – Lucky Dabs was the cinderella story of season 6. Many teams considered him to be a bit of a goof and many still do even after his Super Bowl run. Returning once again as an owner, hopefully he can create a good environment for his star quarterback. After Shig and Ponchy both had issues, Lucky’s management techniques have come under much scrutiny. When asked about his ownership position, Lucky was quoted as saying:

All the owners are ok I guess all i know whoever draft Rusty(ibprofam) better be ready Im matching up with him every week. Im sure hell hide behind his quarterback being bad instead of the fact he spends all day on the game and is trash”

Tpbraves57 – Tpbraves is new as a new owner and it will be interesting to see how he convinces his star players to come to his new organization. Falling just short of a Super Bowl, Tp wants this upcoming season in his hands instead of others. The media team caught up with him to get his comments on being a first time owner, Tp braves said:

“when I first join the league Lucky told me I wasn’t good enough to play. My first goal this season is to win a super bowl. Goal 2 is to expose Lucky for how garbage he is. By the end of this season hell want to quit just like last season”

Drock – Drock might be the most controversial returning owner this season. With his poor management and people skills, he is often referred to him as the Dan Snyder of the VFL. Rumors say he had a good enough interview to retain his ownership for this season. The media team did not get a chance to catch up with Drock for any comments.

JohnnyWheels – Johnny wheels has been a long time player in the VFL. He has shown desire of becoming an owner since season 4 and after being general manager for multiple seasons, he finally gets his opportunity. Many will be counting Johnny out before the season even begins, but his team could be a dark horse candidate if he does well in the VFL bidding. The media team could not catch up with Johnny for any comments on his new ownership.
