Three-Way Play In?

WELLLLLLLLLL FOLKS

With one day left in the season we got another spicy play in game brewing. Personally, I think we should have a three-way play in between the 49ers, Vikings, Raiders KING OF THE HILL STYLE BABY. Just playing, I haven’t really thought of how that would work, I’m just being biased from how last season went (PTSD go crazy).

On a serious note, let’s see who will most likely end up in the play in this season. We have the Vikings and 49ers currently sitting at 15-15 and the Raiders at 11-22. I think it’s safe to say the Jags & Giants are no longer in contention (sorry Smit and Beach). The Seahawks were almost a given until they had a surge in the final week and are sitting at 17 wins.

My guess is that we will be seeing a Vikings vs Raiders matchup. For the Vikings, their top line is on IR while both the MUT line and Johnny’s line have been struggling in the past week. While the Raiders having been making a surge with crucial dubs by Sac and Lucky to hopefully attain that 8th spot.

If this does end up being the case, we will most likely see Userb, Red, Areis vs. Sac/Lucky. Regardless of what line the Raiders throw, I’m sure it will be an intriguing matchup for the league to witness. If the 49ers end up in the play-in, I easily expect to see the AP guys as they have been able to compete very well in the league and have solidified themselves as the 49ers Line 1.

It’s hard to determine the playoff seedings/potential matchups as teams are very close to each other in the standing but I expect tomorrow to be exciting, and it will be interesting to see the final standings.

VFL Week 2 Power Rankings

1. Cowboys (12-6)

This team is in my opinion the best team in the league at the moment, the addition of fear and shady I think will benefit them greatly seeing how the cowboys fit fears play style. Brady’s line going 6-0 is not much of a surprise to me Brady dominates every season why would it be any different now? The real surprise to me is remix he is sitting at 4-2 with a 3-10 td to int ratio his game management and their defense seems to be winning them games! I can definitely see them keeping this trend up!

2. Dolphins (10-7)

This team has the best line in the league with ponchy and realest on the same line with nedley playing RB DL I don’t see them losing any games this season to be honest. They just traded the rytzo line for spacious horse Willy and explicit so I’m looking for the other lines to start picking up some of the slack Willy can carry a line and beaste is a top QB no matter what people say about him he will figure out how to win games.

3. Eagles (11-5)

I understand they have a few games missing but I do not think this team is as deep as the dolphins are champ Farah and accountant will ball out as they always do, TP will win games he’s a competitor and obviously they have the alpha male highwalker so this team is nice, I’m just concerned with their 3rd line. I do not consider them to be that solid. The website shows them to be 2-2 but I do not think this is accurate and I’m thinking they’re 3-3 at very best. However with strong enough 1st and 2nd lines the third line won’t be a huge handicap

4. Cardinals (10-7)

Rating a team lead by ebok this low is almost blasphemous, but with the loss of hexied and boxing I can see this team starting to hit a struggle streak, drock came in this week after being traded last week and played great! Ebok must have shown him some glitches. And with ebok snagging breesus from the Seahawks after an interesting transaction report this week i wonder if breesus can start to learn the glitchy ways of ebok to help this team out during this stretch.

5. 49ers (9-8)

AP boys are a solid 1st line and a great line 2 they can win a lot of games for you. Blk tmo and critical is probably this teams line 1 and with that line up most teams would be happy with them being the number one line! It’s the third line that I would be somewhat worried about with these guys but I can see them competing props to bhedden for building a solid roster after the storm he had on the dolphins last season!

6. Seahawks (9-9)

Mallard made his debut at QB this season with woohdy (MVP) as his RB and man they are off to an impressive start 5-1 is great they’re looking to be this teams line 1 and with a QB like koolaids on the team sitting at 4-2 this team will be making some noise. Again this team just needs a third line I also think they only have 6 players at the moment so let’s see how they recover. I don’t see them moving up much on this list if they can’t get together 3 more consistent guys.

7. Vikings (10-8)

The Johnny madden line has started the season at 3-3 and played some serious competition this line is going to be a problem the more they play. Johnnywheels recently got his guy wace at QB and this guy has a history of playing for a little bit then vanishing if he can stay he is actually a strong QB when his head is in the game! Areis is dogass

8. Raiders (7-11)

Ohio is struggling for the second season in a row but has made a tremendous amount of deals to bring in some new faces I hope he can turn the ship around and make a push this second half of the season for the playoffs!

9. Jags (4-12)

Recently trading for hucci and his line I can see this team doing what smitty and fig did last season and making a huge push for playoffs. Fig is a solid game managing QB and can win some games hucci just needs to find his rhythm again and he’ll be back to his top QB play that he is known for! I like this team moving forward

10. Giants (5-12)

Releasing ace was an interesting choice in my opinion he plays decent enough at QB to win games he may not be the prettiest QB to watch but who really is? Take out the top 3-5 QB’s in this league and we’re all pretty dogshit QB’s! Lucky is down BAD to this point in the season but he always always always finds a way to get it together. I’m starting to think he does this on purpose. Beach mode has played solid madden but just hasn’t been able to show a lot from it in the W column this should change but I am curious if it will be too little too late.

Hiigh Times- Updated QB Rankings

SOME DIDN’T SIGN UP, OTHERS RETIRED AND MANY HAVE UNDERPERFORMED…

Honorable Mentions: Hucci (Can’t win without Ebok) KoolAidz (How do you have 1 TD in 3 games?)   TPBraves (Turnover Issues) AllTheWay (Never heard of you, but promising start)                              Lucky (Run the damn ball more) Sacc (You’re my #10 QB) Aceboogs (44.8 Completion HOW??)

#9 TXJAMESSMITH: I get it, for whatever reason TxSmith didn’t sign up for bidding, but is one of the most committed ECU players we have- go figure. The fact is, even if he plays with the same people every szn and line hunts, I’m still gladly rocking with him over 80% of our leagues QBs.

#8 BREESUS: Call him trash or call him Ebok’s adopted step son- the fact is, he has thrown the 4th most TDS in our league since last season.

#7 USERBFLAWLESS: User was given the depressing task of playing with the legend Kirk Cousins but has gotten the job done going 4-2. It’s hard to speak highly of this player when he never speaks highly of himself, but this will be 3 seasons now where UserB has shown the league he can be a very dependable LINE 2 QB.

#6 BEASTE: A lot of hate circulating around this player, but personally I believe it’s undeserved. From an IQ and capability standpoint, Beaste knows how to win in this league and has proven that time and time again. I would say his “issue” is similar to Aaron Rodgers, he needs a change of scenery. Step away from Owner and sign up as a player and most importantly step away from BeefyChub and get back to your winning ways.

#5 SWIFT AP: A somewhat new face to the “elite player” conversation, but this QB and his line are possibly some of the most consistent players in this league and personally, I’m happy to see them win. 12-6 record dating back to last szn, Swift and the AP squad are proving he/they need to be considered a LINE 1 QB/Team in this league.

#4 CHAMP: No surprise here, Champ in my humble opinion, is a guy you want on your team every season. He wins games, he schemes his ass off and he avoids all the league drama and BS that kills others. I would love to rank him higher, but from a statistical standpoint I need to be unbiased and go off of facts and not opinion.

#3 BRADY: Everything I said about Champ, can also apply to Brady.. except he can get a little mouthy from time to time.. PAUSE. I do need to give major props to his team selecting decision, I think it took a ton of balls (Idk why I keep sounding so sus) to switch off of BAL after spending the $$ he did and deciding to use DAL.

#2 PONCHY: Back like he never left, I don’t know how you can say one negative word about a dude who’s lighting the league up with Skyler Thompson… Like how funny is it to hear others complain about their QB room, when this man is #1 in everything while using SKYLER THOMPSON.

#1 EBOK: I’ve said this many times before and I’ll say it again now.. I stopped betting against this dude a long time ago. It’s all too familiar at this point! Ebok and company start the szn off a little rocky, but come playoff time BOOM. Now, loosing Hex does throw a major wrench into Ebok’s dynasty plans, but an honorable mention QB “Drock” is a QB to watch out for moving forward.

Ebok’s Week 1 Power Rankings

Week 1 Power Rankings

1. Dolphins (6-3)
2. Cowboys (6-3)
3. Eagles (6-2) *
4. 49ers (5-4)
5. Vikings (6-3)
6. Cardinals (5-4)
7. Seahawks (4-5)
8. Giants (3-6)
9. Jaguars (1-8)
10. Raiders (3-6) *

Week 1 Recap:
– The 9ers shocked everyone by going 5-4 & they made great moves going into week 2. Can they become the dark horse to win it all?
– Vikings had a great week as well & stunned some people in the league.
– The cardinals are frauds…A lot of people are learning chinese this season.
– Another play in season for Koolaidz?
– QBs are scared to sling da rock?
– Is Breesuss the goat?

1. Dolphins (6-3)

Line 1
Ponchy line went 3-0 this week with wins over AceBoogs, Remix & AP. Was a bubblegum week for the 31.5 Mil line but theres nothin you can do about it. They played great this week & made the AP boys look like they belonged in the AFL again. Ponchy has been using Skyler Thompson over Tua due to throw power & apparently is working. I know Ponchy wont be available for week 2 unless Beaste is able to move around games so this line might have a hard time winning next week.

Ponchy- 39/58, 848 yards, 12 td, 3 int, 1 tfl, 1 ff, 1 fr
Nedly- 13 rush, 50 yards, 1 td, 23 tfl, 11.5 sacks
Realest- 38 rec, 844 yards, 12 td, 158 rac, 8 tfl, 4.5 sack, 6 Dint, 5 pdef, 2 Dtd

Line 2
Beaste went 2-1 this week with wins over Fig, UserB. He lost to THEREALKOBE. Beaste had a solid week but got DOMINATED by the line 3 of the EAGLES. Beaste is going to be promoted to line 1 qb for week 2. Will he be able to keep the ship afloat?

Beaste- 27/41, 565 yards, 4 td, 2 int, 9 tfl, 1 sack, 3 Dint, 1 pdef
Kyle- Real Busy
Beefy- 26 rec, 557 yards, 4 td, 190 rac, 1 tfl

Line 3
Rytzo went 1-2 this week with a win over Drock & lost to Hexied & Mallard. I watched this line play against Hexied & they faced cover 0 with no user help over the top & struggled to score. That should never happen when you have weapons like Tyreek & Waddle. Beaste is going to have to improve this line or try to move em if he wants to improve his odds at winning this season.

Rytzo- 17/26, 253 yards, 3 td, 6 int, 2 tfl, 1 Dint
Mamba- N/A
Rigs- 13 rec, 222 yards, 3 td, 45 rac, 2 Dint, 1 pdef

POTW: PONCHYSWAG
Shitter of the week: Rytzo/Call Me Kyle

2. Cowboys (6-3)

Line 1
Brady with the 3-0 week with wins over Gmen, Hex & RPO Painkiller. This line put up some solid wins this week & I don’t see them slowing down any time soon. Brady owns Hexied. “ngl @IR x Brady has the best defensive scheme in the league with the players he has. parsons in the middle is unstoppable” – Hexied

Brady- 22/33, 634 yards, 5 td, 1 int, 3 tfl, 3 Dint, 2 pdef, 1 ff
North- 34 rush, 158 yards, 5 td, 9 tfl, 2 sack
Dfeet- 22 rec, 634 yards, 45 rac, 4 tfl, 2 sack, 3 Dint, 6 pdef, 1 fr, 2 Dtd

Line 2
Hucci went 1-2 this week with a win over TP & losses to AP & xTH3B3HRxG3W. Hucci might be tryna take a page out of my book by going 1-2 week 1 so he can secure the 4 peat. Regardless i think Hucci should switch his playbook for this season. i dont think the saints playbook is a good fit for Dak. This line will win games regardless but if Hucci can get comfortable in a new scheme this team could be lethal.

Hucci- 30/60, 340 yards, 2 td, 6 int, 2 Dint, 1 pdef
Nate- 27 rush, 108 yards, 9 rec, 91 yards, 90 rac, 4 tfl,
Trey- N/A

Line 3
Remix went 2-1 this week with wins over Aceboogs & Koolaidz. They lost to Ponchy. Even with big wins over Ace & Koolaidz Remix is getting the boot for line 3 QB. Childplease will be stepping in & taking over. Child is a QB who can steal some wins as a line 3 qb so its not a bad roster move.

Remix- N/A
WRNZO- N/A
Bwall- N/A

POTW- Brady
Shitter of the week- Hucci

3. Eagles (6-2)*
Eagles still have a reschedule to play with the RAIDERS.

Line 1
Champ with the 3-0 week with wins over Aceboogs, Fixer & RPO Painkiller. Bubblegum week for the 28.5 Mil line but they got the job done. I didnt see any of the games but it seems like Champs has a good run scheme with jalen hurts. Accountant wanted me to note that they gave up 13 points all week. He must be the DCoty.

Champ- 21/34, 343 yards, 5 td, 2 int, 17 rush, 265 yards, 1 td, 2 tfl, 5 Dint, 1 pdef
Accountant- 10 rush, 21 yards, 3 rec, 32 yards, 23 rac, 14 tfl, 6 sack, 1 Dint, 1 Dtd
Farah- 18 rec, 311, 5 td, 96 rac, 3 tfl, 2 dint, 1 pdef, 1 Dtd.

Line 2
As of now TP is 1-1 with a win over Bhedden & a loss to Hucci. I saw some of the Hucci game & TP looked lost out there at qb. He could potentially end the week going 2-1 but He needs to improve if he wants to win the SB this season.

Tp- 11/25, 227 yards, 2 td, 5 int, 5 rush, 37 yards, 1 td, 1 tfl, 2 Dint, 2 pdef
Rusty- 16 rush, 71 yards, 2 tfl, 1 Dint, 1 ff, 1 fr, 2 Dtd
KingHigh- 10 rec, 220 yards, 2 td, 70 rac, 9 tfl, 2 sack

Line 3
Kobe went 2-1 this week with wins over Beaste & Alltheway with a loss to eboK. This might be the best line 3 in the league. Actually TP might get demoted to line 3 idk…but Kobe like to run the ball alot & control the clock & they play some decent defense. I can see this line having a positive record by the end of the season. Kobe LURKED beaste with Nakobe Dean…give him LBoty right now.

POTW- Kobe
Shitter of the week- TP*

4. 49ers (5-4)

49ers made some moves at the end of Week 1 to VASTLY improve the team. First trade was VictisHonor for BlkSup3rsayian & the second trade was a bunch of TC players for TMO. BLK has been wanting to play with TMO for a minute now so as long as they can gel on offense then this 9ers team will be solid. The AP boys did their thing by going 2-1 this week with wins over Hucci & Breesuss. Surprisingly Kwame played very good at QB & 2-0 or 2-1 on the week with wins over TMO & BLK. Bhedden might be the Howie Roseman of the VFL.

AP- 26/46/ 607 yards, 6 td, 3 int, 28 rush, 260 yards, 2 td, 26 rec, 607 yards, 179 rac, 17 tfl, 7.5 sack, 7 dint, 8 pdef, 2 Dtd
Telos- 70 rush, 472 yards, 5 td, 1 rec, 13 yards, 2 TFL, 5 Dint

POTW- Kwame
Shitter of the week- Bhedden*

5. Vikings (6-3)

Line 1
UserB with the 2-1 week with wins over Gmen and Beachmode & loss to Beaste. I’m still stunned that Johnny put 24 mil into UserB but they did have a dent week to start things off. Maybe Johnny will give em the TXjames treatment & let em play shitters all szn. Could be huge.

UserB- 23/42, 304 yards, 3 td, 3 int, 4 tfl
Red- 27 rush, 194 yards, 2 td, 5 rec 77 yards, 1 td, 23 rac, 11 tfl, 3 sack, 1 ff
Areis- 18, 227 yards, 2 td, 64 rac, 1 tfl, 4 Dint, 1 ff, 2 Dtd

Line 2
xTH3B3HRxG3W went 2-1 this with wins over Hucci & someone on the 9ers. They lost to Koolaidz. The rookie line was in a close game with koolaidz & hucci which is promising for the Vikings. Based off the stats it seems like they just give the ball to cook every play & let em Cook. This line will be the key is this teams success.

xTH3B3HRxG3W- 13/24, 165 yards, 2 td, 1 int, 1 sack, 4 Dint, 2 Dtd
Praying4DDA- 42 rush, 244 yards, 2 td, 3 rec, 31 yards, 6 tfl, 1 dint, 1 fr, 1 Dtd
savvyrican- 10 rec, 134 yards, 2 td, 5 rac, 8 tfl, 3 sack, 1 ff

Line 3
Alltheway757 went 2-1 this week with wins over Breesuss and Blunkey with a loss to THEREALKOBE. Another rookie line had a positive week for the vikings. Sure they beat 2 of the worst QBs in the league but a win is a win. Whoever the DC was for the Vikings made me not want to watch another game of Breesuss ever again. Stock cover 4 all game boxin him. Looks like Johnnywheels put on a show this week at DL.

Alltheway757- 28/44, 430 yards, 4 td, 2 int, 8 rush, -19 yards, 1 td, 3 Dint, 1 pdef, 2 fr, 1 Dtd
Shadow- 39 rush, 344 yards, 3 td, 3 rec, 17 yards, 6 rac, 1 Dint, 1 pdef, 2 ff
Johnnywheels- 25 rec, 413 yards, 4 td, 148 rac, 14 tfl, 10.5 sack,

POTW- Praying4DDA
Shitter of the week- UserB*

6. Cardinals (5-4)

Line 1
1-2 with a win over Rytzo & loses to Brady & Sacrifice.

Hexied- 24/46, 486 yards, 5 td, 3 int, 57 rush, 265 yards, 3 td, 1 tfl, 1 sack, 3 Dint, 2 pdef
Doc- 2 rec, 30 yards, 13 rac, 5 tfl, 3 sack
Boxing- 14 rec, 240 yards, 2 td, 34 rac, 1 tfl, 1 Dint

Line 2
3-0 with wins over BLK, Fig & THEREALKOBE. Bubblegum week.

eboK- 44/77, 1002 yards, 7 td, 5 int, 13 rush, 50 yards, 1 td, 6 tfl
Crazy- 8 rush, 20 yards, 3 rec, 28 yards, 15 rac, 9 tfl, 2.5 sack,
Gabe- 41 rec, 976 yards, 7 td, 379 rac, 20 tfl, 7 sack, 2 Dint, 6 pdef

Line 3
Breesuss dropped for drock. Can Drock turn his szn around after making willy & TMO upset???

POTW- Gabe
Shitter of the week- Hexied

7. Seahawks (4-5)

Line 1
Koolaidz went 2-1 this week with wins over xTH3B3HRxG3W and drock & a loss to Remix. Koolaidz didnt have a great week at QB but thankfully Tiger was able to put the team on his back this week. Tiger had a crazy 52 touches this week. Focusing on stopping tiger might be the key to success for beating this line. Koolaidz will more than likely pick up his production but until then its the Tiger show for line 1.

Koolaidz- 18/30, 276 yards, 1 td, 6 int, 10 tfl, 2.5 sack, 3 Dint, 1 pdef, 1 ff, 1 Dtd
Tiger- 52 rush, 290 yards, 3 td, 6 rec, 37 yards, 29 rac, 4 tfl, 3 Dint, 1 fr, 1 Dtd
Pork- 12 rec, 249 yards, 1 td, 87 rac, 9 tfl, 2.5 sack, 1 Dint, 1 Dtd

Line 2
BLK got traded so Breesuss will be takin over with Line 2. Breesuss, Jesse & Brisket. Who knows if Breesuss will get the job done. I could easily see a trade request or two poppin up at the end of the week.

Line 3
Woohdy hard carried this line this week to a 2-1 record with wins over Rytzo & Blunkey. He lost to Beachmode. I didnt watch em play but based off the stats Mallard just gives the ball to woohdy every play & prays he wins them the game. I’m starting to think Woohdy has a fetish for playing with QBs who will give him the rock every play. Another Seahawks line where u just have to stop the RB.

Mallard- 6/12, 130 yards, 1 td, 2 int, 11 tfl, 6 sack
Woohdy- 45 rush, 509 yards, 7 td, 2 rec, 16 yards, 10 rac, 4 tfl, 6 Dint, 3 pdef, 1 ff, 3 Dtd
Smash- 4 rec, 117 yards, 17 rac, 1 tfl, 1 sack, 4 Dint, 1 fr, 3 Dtd

POTW- Woohdy
Shitter of the week- BLK/Koolaidz

8. Giants (3-6)

The Giants had a dissapointing week. Aceboogs went 0-3, Lucky went 1-2 & Beachmode went 2-1. Lucky & Ace will have to step it up if this team wants a chance at the playoffs. 15 mil for aceboogs is insanity.

POTW- Beachmode
Shitter of the week- Aceboogs

9. Jaguars (1-8)

The jags went 1-8 this week with the only win coming from RPO Painkiller(maybe). Unless something magical happens i dont see their season being turned around. Maybe Smitty & Fig used up all their juice last szn.

10. Raiders (2-6) *

The raiders made a lot of moves at the end of week 1. They couldve gotten potentially much worse with these moves. Only time will tell. Drock got sent down for Rugga. Willy got traded for Clutchking. Then they traded TMO for training camp players. They also picked up Sin who is a 3FL guy to pair with Rugga. Rugga & all his 3FL boys say that the VFL is trash & they wuld dominate so it’s time to see if they’re really like that or not. If Rugga & is crew are demons then they should be able to carry this Raiders squad to the playoffs.

POTW- potentially Sacrifice
Shitter of the week- Drock

Camaros Predictions

With season 9 right around the corner I wanted to do an early season prediction and breakdown of each team. (This is not a list in order of best team to worst) let’s dive into these rosters!

49ers (13-23)

Unfortunately I do not see this team going super far by any means. They have the AP line which I predict getting half or more of their wins. This is a tough line to play against and they always have close games. I’m not 100% sure how the rest of their lines will look quite yet, I have a feeling telos behe and bhedden will be a line. I have faith bhedden can play solid QB but I think he has potential to let his ego get in his way. If I were him I’d hand the ball off to telos and let him and the defense win them some games.

Cardinals (26-1
0)

This team will be a powerhouse “super team” everyone always complains about. Hexied with Reebok and boxing will be an extremely difficult line to play against he keeps talking about a great run scheme with kyler and I’m interested to see what it is, as well as ebok gabe and crazy, ebok is one of the best QB’s in the league and gabe has always been a solid user. Breezus will probably hold the most losses on this team again but I think he’s a lot better than people say. I’m convinced it’s a troll to make sure he stays on eboks team.

Cowboys ( 25-11)

I see this team being a top three team easy. Brady dfeet and northside have always dominated in the league and hucci teaming up with Nate and trey is gonna be a dominant line this upcoming season remix bwall and wrnzo will be the only real question mark on the team however remix used to be a great QB back in the old VFL days and is just now getting his feet wet in the VFL with his rookie season being last season, bwall is a great WR DB and wrnzo is a great RB I can see this team being in the Super Bowl.

Vikings (14-22)

I can see this team struggling Johnny madden is going to be this teams bright spot Johnnywheels coming off a great season making playoffs after being the worst team in the league he will be looking to push forward with some more progress, however, spending 24 mil on the userb, red, areis line is not the best call imo areis and red are great players but userb will drag them down tremendously.

If this team makes playoffs it would be due to the lack of production by other teams imo.

Raiders (14-22)

Mr Ohio got some steals in this draft with sacrifice and tmo my issue is I don’t think drock is the best of QB’s and gets flustered easily. He will have tmo to help him a lot but I’m not sure if drock will be able to put up the points needed to win some of those closer games. I think gmen is a solid QB but I also believe he needs some talent around him I feel like he’s very inconsistent at times and that would be his lines biggest downfall.

Seahawks (18-18)

This team seems to be about a middle of the pack type of team to me. Koolaids line will win a lot of games and blk and brisket will be able to win you some games as well. I see mallard made the switch to QB this season and I am interested to see how he does. I think as a QB he would be their third best QB on the team and will be able to squeeze out some games but will rely on koolaid and blk to win most of their games as a whole.

Giants (20-16)

Mr top five himself is on the giants and I know he’s capable of winning games, his issue is he doesn’t adjust well and I’ve noticed he likes to be the star of the show. So when things aren’t going his way I feel like he folds easily. However I do think in that same aspect he always comes up big in clutch type of situations, it’s a weird phenomenon I don’t know how to explain. Ace boogs is making his return to QB and I think he can win games as a play caller but he has a tendency to turn the ball over quite a bit. If his teammates can keep the mood light I can see them winning some games. Beach mode is a QB that I’ve seen ply well and I’ve seen ply not so well but he’s always in a good mood and willing to keep getting better. I can see this team being one to keep an eye on

Eagles (22-14)

With the champ Farah and accountant line this team is expected to make playoffs in my eyes. They’ve always been a great line and I don’t see this season being any different. TP high walker and Ibprofam will be another line to keep an eye on. Highwalker switching back to WR is a good call because he is a great route runner and can get a lot of YAC the one line that has me a little concerned would be the Kobe salukvisn and cflo line I’ve played some scrims against them however I think they play out of position so it’s hard to judge I want to see how they do this upcoming season.

Dolphins (27-9)

This team imo looks stacked on paper you have rytzo rigs and mamba which will be a great combo rytzo looked great at QB towards the end of last season and rigs and mamba are great users to compliment rytzo play style. You have beaste Kyle and beefy which beaste will definitely win games and plays great defense the line that I think has potential to go 12-0 ponchy realest and nedley ponchy one of the best QB’s in the league if not the best realest one of the best DC’s in the league if not the best. Just creates an insane duo in itself. Also having nedley on the line to get ponchy and realest their water quickly will be a great addition to keep them pushing for an undefeated season.

Jaguars ( 12-24)

Smitty back at it again with starting the season off with a not so great looking team. I think fear and shady have potential to win a lot of games but I also know fear loves to just throw games instead of giving the ball to shady. Fig played great QB last season but looks to have switched to WR the other QB’s listed on their team aceboogie I know very little about however I know blunkey is a solid QB people love to poo on him but I know he has potential to win some games but almost always seems to randomly have scheduling problems come VFL games. I’d like to see how this team does this season but at the moment it’s tough for me to put them in the top.

Super Bowl predictions

I have the cowboys and the dolphins playing in the Super Bowl with the dolphins winning 4-1

Ebok’s Post Bidding Rankings

Personally, I think owners fumbled the bag this season by thinking that they had to pick defensive teams. Owners should’ve been looking to do the opposite & snag up the best offensive teams to help separate their QBs from the rest. Anyone with defensive IQ this season can play good defensively since Set Feet Lead & Pass Lead Elite got banned (& Nick Chubb I guess). You’re going to see a severe drop in QB stats this season & a rise to RB & Defensive stats. I think whoever wins the SB this season will win because their QB’s found out how to properly utilize their offenses. I hope staff has a DC of the year award because I would love to see if it’ll be from someone who has a defensive team Ex. PHI, 9ERS, BAL. (Breesuss for MVP)

Remix o2- QB/LB- $500,000.00 WRNZO- RB/DL- $500,000.00 Xbehe- WR/DB- $500,000.00

Brady did a good job in securing one of the top 3 lines in the draft while also getting North & Dfeet. I could easily see this team finishing as the 1 seed but the line 3 is going to be a big problem for this team. Another concern I have for this team is can Brady & Hucci utilize Lamar talents? Brady & Hucci have always been pocket passers in their VFL careers so the switch up to a scrambler like Lamar might be the downfall to this team. (Also, the Ravens WRs suck in madden).

3. Eagles

Although I have the Eagles at 3, they could’ve easily been #4 or lower. The reason why I have them above a team like the Seahawks is because I think the Eagles are deeper in terms on VFL Roster than the seahawks. Although i can see this Eagles team having a great season I don’t know if Champ or any of the other QBs are going to be able to sling da rock with Jalen Hurts like big daddy EBOK. The Keys to success for this team will be through running the ball & playing great defense. I can’t wait to see how these QB’s perform with Jalen… (I’m sure accountant is bricked up rn since he gets to use the Eagles DL).

I think Mallard did an OK job with his draft. Koolaidz line will be able to win games, but I have concerns for the other 2 lines. BLK is a QB who NEEDS a scrambler. Geno Smith is not a scrambler plus he has low THP. BLK typically sits in spread 4 verts & QB wrap so unless he can dunk on everyone with DK, I can see this line struggling to put up points & some trade requests will pop up. I’ve never seen Mallard play QB, but he told me he sucks so…This season will come down to if BLK can get the job done or not for this squad…might be another play in type season for Mr. Media Man.

Ohio did a good job in bidding by securing Drock & Sacrifice, but he fumbled the bad by spending 16 mil on PaidDough. Idk him maybe he’s an ABSOLUTE DEMON but if Ohio spent the rest of his cap on securing one of the Lines in bidding, then he could’ve put together a top 2 roster in the league. Drock, Willy & Tmo should be able to win games but I’m unsure if Drock will be able to put up numbers with Derek Carr. It might be another defensive szn for TMO & Willy (no shots at anyone). Idk what the other lines are but if Ohio can pair a DC with Sac, then that line should be able to be a solid line 2. Honestly though, this team might be the dark horse in winning it all due to the double EDGE THREAT ELITES. The DL users have the ability to HARD CARRY these games & wreck the game for the opposing QB’s. If Drock plans on feeding Willy, I would put him up for MVP considerations.

The Giants being ranked 6th might be a shocker to most people but I think Beach did a fine job in bidding. He sold the bag by putting 15 mil on Aceboogs but even doing so this team should make playoffs. Lucky’s line will win you games & I’ve seen beach play a lil post draft & his line is lookin like a solid line 2/3. If Ace isn’t out there throwin dots to the DB then they should have a solid szn. Will Lucky be able to be a hard carry QB1? Guess we’re about to find out this szn.

This season is either gonna go 1 of 2 ways for the Jags. Either a play in szn or a tank for Tua type of deal. Spending 24 mil on RPO Painkiller is an eyesore to look at. I had Smitty as a LOCK to snag up the Hucci line but obviously I was wrong. Maybe Smitty & Fig can conjure up some magic like they did last season on the Packers who knows, but I don’t see this team doing much this season.

8. Dolphins

This has got to be the WORST draft that Beaste has ever had. Even though I had Ponchy’s line locked to go to Miami or Minnesota I’m kinda surprised that Beaste didn’t learn his lesson about spending all of his cap on 1 player. Yes, he got an entire line this time around, but the rest of this Dolphins roster is very bad. If this was M22 Beaste we were talkin bout, then this draft would’ve been better but it’s not. Beaste has struggled on both Josh Allen & Tom Brady & I don’t see anything changing this szn. Hopefully Beaste can change that & pop off this szn but unless Ponchy’s line super hard carries I don’t see much of anything happening with this team this szn.

Alltheway757- QB/DB- $500,000 Johhny Wheels- RB/LB- $0 SpaciousHorse60- QB/DL- $500,000

Spending 24 Mil on User B is a very bad look for Johnny after doing such a great job in securing TXjames & them last szn. Sure, this UserB line will win you some games, but they’re not Line 1 material in my eyes. I don’t know this DDA line maybe they are glitchy, but I feel like Johnny took a step back in bidding from last season. I could be wrong but I probably won’t be. I’m surprised that Johnny didn’t go after the AP boys or Ponchy…

10. 49ers

All though Bhedden snagged up the AP boys for 7.5 Mil the rest of this team is complete DIRT & they will end up missing the playoffs 100%. Maybe Bhedden will make a buddy deal with someone & move the AP boys before the end of the szn. This team still has 22 Mil in cap space…

NATES TEAM DRAFT RANKINGS

WOW!  It has been awhile since I made one of these articles but I figured I’d dust of the pen and paper and tell you guys who got the best value out of the team draft!  With some math, perhaps?  I’m not sure, I’ll show you guys how I got there and you can decide.  Keep in mind this has nothing to do with the owners and their histories in the VFL, just the team that was picked and the amount they were picked for.  Let’s go!

10. Cardinals (Ebok)

10th in team Overall (76) 10th in Offense (67) 9th in Defense (73) T-7th in Salary (6.5M)

Look, I get it, Madden has always been about speed (and now about having abilities) *also imagine a 79 overall player being a Superstar (Kyler Murray)* so the overalls of the team and their positions don’t really matter.  The Cardinals have some good speed on the team (Marquise Brown 97SPD, Robbie Anderson 96SPD, Kyler 91SPD, Isaiah Simmons 93SPD to name a few) so I understand why they were picked, especially in mid tier style teams.  The really bad part of this team is the offensive line and could get abused by the likes of the defensive lines that were drafted.  The gamechangers on this team could lie on the shoulders of JJ Watt Budda Baker, and the other people mentioned in the speed talk.  He’s going to need elite players to make this team work, which I don’t doubt he will find.  Hopefully the salary situation won’t hinder ebok in his choices this season.

9. Jaguars (Smitty)

6th in team Overall (83) 8th in Offense (76) T-7th in Defense (77) T-7th in Salary (6.5M)

The Jags may have fit somewhere else in my rankings if it wasn’t for a penalty that was taken during the bidding? (So I’m taking what Koolaid said and that it was the truth and making the cap penalty as part of the team salary)  Look, this teams highest overally player is a LG and he’s only an 86.  They have some good receivers, a good runningback, some good defensive backs, and a great quarterback by this seasons standards.  Looking through this roster it’s hard to find a standout gamechanger.  I think big plays will be limited with this team and smitty will have to draft the right people to have methodical drives, not turn the ball over, and play within the confines of the team.

8. Seahawks (Mallard)

7th in team Overall (79) 7th in Offense (78) T-7th in Defense (75) T-3rd in Salary (2.5M)

I really like some of the pieces on Seattles team.  They have some really good playmakers in DK Metcalf, Jamaal Adams, Tariq Woolen (98SPD), and Kenneth Walker.  The weak spot of this team is both sides of the trenches.  I don’t love Geno but he’s doable this season.  Mallard is going to need to find some good defensive line users to get some pressure and stop the run, while finding some good running backs to hand the ball too.  Maybe he should look to whoever was running the ball on the Browns last season?

7.  Giants (Beachmode)

7th in team Overall (82) 9th in Offense (74) T-7th in Defense (77) 1st in Salary (1M)

Initially when I started jotting down some notes for this article I was debating on which team I would put last, these Giants or the Jaguars, then I started overthinking it and numbers got involved.  This teams quarterback may be the worst out of the bunch, there’s not a ton of speed on the team but they do have Slayton at receiver.  One spot I really like is the d-line.  A bunch of gamechangers all along there.  And I haven’t even mentioned Saquon yet, so I take back what I said in the Seahawks thread (well maybe I don’t) and recommend HE looks at who was running the ball for the Browns last season, too.  I’d also look at some good users to make that defense look nice.  One thing Beachmode has going for him is that he controls the draft (MOST CAP)!  I didn’t see that coming.

6. Raiders (Ohio)

8th in team Overall (81) 6th in Offense (82) 6th in Defense (78) T-3rd in Salary (2.5M)

Da Raidaaaaaaaaaaaaaz (Chris Berman voice, if you know, you know)  I like this team!  They have some decent players and a decent amount of them have abilities.  Derek Carr isn’t terrible and has an arm on him, Davante who’s a top receiver PERIOD, Waller, Max Crosby, Chandler Jones, AND Josh Jacobs!  I like the amount that was paid for this team where they should be able to land a good line(s) to take advantage of these players.  A big hole in this team is the secondary so Ohio is going to have to find him some good cover guys in the draft to enhance this team and help reach its potential!

5. Ravens (Brady)

2nd in team Overall (88) T-3rd in Offense (85) 3rd in Defense (87) 10th in Salary (9M)

The Ravens have studs all over the team!  They would be ranked higher if they didn’t come at the price that was paid for them.  I’m sure Brady and whoever he plays with is going to be just fine and win a ton of games with them.  Lamar is awesome, the DBs are great, good safeties, Campbell and Pierce at DT, and can’t forget about Mark Andrews.  I could see this team running a lot (probably more with the QB than RB) so he’s going to need to find a QB who maybe has played running back in the past to maximize the potential (Maybe BLK or dare I say the Fear/Shady combo?)  The cap with most likely hinder their 3rd line but if they go all out on finishing his line + the second line this could be a Super Bowl contending squad!

4. Vikings (Johnny)

T-4th in team Overall (85) 2 in Offense (87) 4th in Defense (84) 5th in Salary (3.5M)

I know that most of you are surprised this isn’t my #1 team (SKOOOOOOOOOOOOL) but I’m not a biased individual so you are getting a fair write-up.  Kirk is a very accurate passer but he’s got a noodle arm.  You’ve got to love having the best WR in football in JJettas along with Dalvin Cook and the Hock offense.  Defensively you’ve got Danielle Hunter, Big Z, and Harry the Hitman (favorite player but he runs like he’s lagging slowwwwwwwwwww).  And that’s the problem with the team is outside of Booth and Cine they aren’t very quick on D, and they really aren’t very quick on O, so like the Jaguars above Johnny is going to have to find good players that play within the confines of this team and don’t give up the big play.  Crazy how the team ranked 32nd in overall defense is somehow an 84 overall in that category (in case you needed proof that madden was fake, you have it).

3. 49ers (Bhedden)

2nd in team Overall (90) 5th in Offense (84) 1st in Defense (90) T-7th in Salary (6.5M)

The 49ers are back in the VFL this season.  Crazy they weren’t picked with as good as this roster is! (We all know why, it’s because of their quarterback)  This roster is stacked from top-to-bottom with McCaffery, Kittle, Trent Will, Deebo, Warner, Bosa, and the list goes on-and-on-and-on!  Some quarterbacks I’ve talked to in here love Trey Lance and others want nothing to do with him.  Outside of quarterback their secondary isn’t anything to be speaking highly of.  The salary will handicap them a little bit but I think their are people/lines hoping to get picked up by this team.  Good pick!

2. Dolphins (Beaste)

T-4th in team Overall (85) T-3rd in Offense (85) 5th in Defense (81) 2nd in Salary (2M)

Beaste’s team had a surprising exit after a first round bye in last seasons playoffs so he’s going to try and right that ship this season, maybe with a chip on his shoulder.  He took the (maybe most controversial team) Dolphins with baby-noodle, ramen-noodle, chicken-noodle arm Tua.  Why can nobody be successful with this team?  Since the VFL has came back I can only recall them making the playoffs once (with ebok) and they forfeited that round because of, lets say, things.  They have two of the fastest receivers in the game in Waddle & Tyreek, super fast running back in Mostert, a decent d-line with a good back-end.  The weak spot on the team is obviously Tua and the offensive line outside of Armstead (they are BAAAAAAAD).  If Beaste can find someone who can get the most out of Tua (and a lefty) he might have something good on his hands, having the second most cap space.

1. Eagles (Tpbraves)

1st in team Overall (92OVR) 1st in Offense (92) 2nd in Defense (89) 6th in Salary (5.5M)

SHOCKER!  How did we let the TEAM that won the SUPER BOWL against ALL THE OTHER TEAMS make it IN TO THIS DRAFT and they WEREN’T THE HIGHEST BIDDED ON?  Imagine bidding more on the Jags, Ravens, Cardinals, and 49ers when you could’ve had these guys!  Tpbraves is a good player and good owner, he got the best team, best roster top down this season.  Abilities everywhere on the field at QB, O-Line, D-Line, DB, WR, need I say more.  Quez Watkins is a demon.  Hurts’ throw power may be an issue but it sure wasn’t last season.  Are the Eagles going to continue the trend of winning Super Bowls on this Madden like the Chiefs were last Madden?  I’d say they’ve got a shot!

Pre-Bidding Line Rankings

  1. Ponchy, Realest and Nedley

Putting Realest in the top of both lists doesn’t sound right but to be honest this list comes after they signed up as a line. The return of Ponchy and Realest, especially as a team, should be a dominant performance. Ponchy and Realest being at the top of their respective positions is a tandem not many seen coming. You throw in Logic and this line is damn near perfect. Both Realest and Logic are phenomenal defensive players. Ponchy has set the meta with the Cards PB. Ponchy always has great schemes and with teammates like this I only see his offense getting better and better. Look for this team to have a huge price tag on it.

  1. Hexied, Boxing and Adidas

This line has a lot of depth on both sides. Hex being a solid schemer and passer. Boxing has perfected the DB Fire Meta. They will be mad that they aren’t #1 but until I see Hex with no XF QB, that won’t change. I know Ponchy has used them before which is why I ranked them higher. Hex and Boxing are solid users with a great mind for adjusting mid game. As for their teammate Reebok, I haven’t seen him play so I don’t really have a lot of insight on him. MUT players are always hip with the Meta. I anticipate he will be a great player because I know Hex wouldn’t play with shitters. My expectations for Reebok are set pretty high. Expect this team to be a tough team to go against this season.

  1. Champ, Farah and Accountant

Champ and Farah have always played together. They have always been successful together. Champ has a high powered offense with a phenomenal free-form back shoulder scheme. Its really tough to stop. Farah is a solid defensive playcaller and receiver. Their chemistry is unmatched in this league. Then you throw in quite possibly the best DL currently in the league, Accountant, and this line looks scary. Accountant is a beast on the DL. Getting hella pressure with 4 down line nobodies. I remember an in house we played where he sacked me like 6 times with 76 OVR Jaelen Phillips. Offensively he doesn’t show up much but he definitely makes up for it on the defensive side. Champ and Farah were favorites to win the SB with Hex last season. Unforeseen circumstances cut that run short. I expect them to be in contention wherever they land this season.

4. Hucci, Nate and Trey

Being unbiased about my line is going to be kind of tough but Ill try though. Me and Nate go way back and we have known each other for years. Some of my most fun nights ever playing Madden were with Nate and Chino. While we were opposition in the SB we have always been good friends. Which is what brought this line together. The SB was bittersweet for me because we robbed Nate (he robbed me in a CFM SB so we are even). While Trey and I minced words before the games, it was all in the competitive spirit. With me, you get a 3 time B2B2B SB winning player. I just went through the no QB ability nightmare in Philly. So I got more reps than most with no XF QB. Nate who has perfected the DB Fire Meta as well and is a formidable RB/DL. Nate led the league in sacks like 2-3 seasons ago. He’s a good runner and receiver out of the backfield. Just a really balanced player. Did I mention he has 2 SB rings? Then we roll on to our 3rd, Trey. Trey made and impact at receiver last season, destroying man coverage on his way to the SB. On defense his user is up to par with some of the better players in this league. Trey hypes the discord up with taunting and calling people out but he always backs it up. This line has the potential to be a dominant line. I look forward to making a run to the playoffs this season.

  1. Lucky, Jacc and MidnightxYork

Love him or hate him, Lucky is going to be tough competition in any game he plays. Despite all the hate Lucky is a great QB. His scheme isn’t all that complex but his ability to make the right read quickly is the difference.  In my opinion he probably goes through his progressions and makes a read quicker than anyone in this league. Also he isn’t afraid to call out top lines. Comp doesn’t scare him. Had the VBA ownership fumble not happen, Lucky could’ve went to the SB. Jacc is a consistent player. Him and Lucky get along well so I’m sure they have already started cooking up shit together. I’m not sure about Jacc as a defensive play caller. I haven’t watched many of his games. So I guess ill get to see it as it happens this season. I expect Lucky and him to work on the strategies together. As for their 3rd. I haven’t played with him in quite awhile but the first thing that comes to my mind about York is (Great fkn Teammate). I remember playing with him and he was always vocal and communicated. Sometimes keeping the energy and the hype up is what you need to push your team through diversity. York delivers that. This line has potential with Lucky at the helm.  I look forward to seeing how well they do this season.

  1. The AP Line

The AP line have been flying under the radar for quite a few seasons now. I don’t get how because they have been giving people hell game after hell game for quite a while. These guys are a tough matchup for anyone. When I first got back into this league the AP line was viewed as a “stat game”. I guess they finally hit their flow state and got their chemistry going because now they are a hell line to play. These guys have stuck to their guns. Always just teaming up with each other no matter how bad it got. Finally, their chemistry, gameplan and skill have moved them into the next tier of competition. Any team landing the AP line will benefit from it. They have used a lot of shit teams and still done well so this line would be an excellent addition to any team.

  1. UserB, Aries and Redwater

Tote the rock and play defense is the advertisement for this line.  Aries being the highlight of this team. UserB is a solid QB when it comes to game management. He controls the ball and has a good running scheme. He can make the throws when he needs to but don’t look for him to light up the scoreboard passing. He’s a great game manager. Having Redwater in the backfield will help him with that. Redwater is a great option at RB. Easily in the top 6 for backs in the league. I know with UserB’s scheme Redwater will be featured heavy.  My only question mark for Redwater is why did he switch off DL? He’s a great back but I honestly think he is an even better DL. As for Aries, there isn’t much that needs to be said. Aries is a baller and led the league in INTS the season before last. While he skipped a season I don’t expect any less from him this season. He has a tough defense and will be a tough go for any team on the opposition.

  1. Wicked, Johnny and Greedy

These guys signed up and are trying to fly under the radar. I don’t know much about Greedy but Johnny and Wicked are fkn ballers. Also another team coming from the MUT streets. They are hip with the meta on both sides of the ball and can counter most of it I’m sure. I have known these guys for years. Ive played with and against them a lot. Not only are they great players, they are great dudes as well. I look forward to seeing what they bring to the table this season. Any team would be fortunate to snag these fellas

KoolWhip’s Team Bidding Grades

TPBraves: Eagles – 5.5M
Grade: A+

I will give props to TP, I think he secured one of the top available teams this season for a very good price point. Overall, they have a balanced roster and we saw their true potential as the users on that squad last season were able to win a SB
through their strong defense and use of unique route combos to get players open. Although there were some concerns last season with the Eagles regarding Hurt’s arm and high bullets, TP is at an advantage with the teams that were banned this season.
I see him easily being able to have a successful season if he plays his cards right during player bidding which should not be difficult as he has a solid amount of cap to work with.

BHedden: 49ers – 6.5M
Grade: A

49ers in my mind were one of the top three available teams this season apart from the Eagles and Ravens and I honestly thought they would go for a bit more so the fact Bhedden got them for 6.5M is very commendable. Williams + Bosa + Warner + Kittle +
McCaffery + Samuel like come on so many great players to utilize. Even though the QB room on this Madden team is a bit questionable, if you can develop an effective short passing scheme + run the ball well it will be very easy to win games especially knowing
that the 49ers have an amazing defense compared to the rest of the teams that were available.

Beaste: Dolphins – 2M
Grade: A-

Beaste has always been a solid owner and having only spent 2M on the Fins, a squad I consider a dark horse team. I feel this puts him in a really good position. You’ve already got 1 top QB on the roster and with 38M remaining in cap the possibilities are
endless. Tua has always been a concern but a lot of damage can be done with Hill + Waddle on the squad. I’ve personally played against the Fins quite a bit and it is very easy to get roasted by both those WR’s. Though not even just those two, I feel that
on the offensive side Mostert is a sneaky good back even though he sits at 80 ovr. Secondary is solid along with the DL. Some might be surprised with this grade but I’m sticking with it as it is.

Ebok: Cardinals – 6.5M
Grade: B+

At first glance, I was caught by surprise the amount Ebok paid for the Cardinals until I took a look into their Madden roster and came to a conclusion that there is a lot of potential with the Cardinals. Though, if we were to compare the 49ers to that of the
Cardinals, the two teams that went for 6.5M. I’m giving the clear edge to the 49ers which was the biggest influence when it came to my grade. Having won back2back2back Super Bowls it is nearly impossible to question his ability at owner when it comes to team
bidding and player bidding (apart from picking up Breesus). Better OL than most teams, solid skill position players, just the defense that is slight concerning. But as I said, Ebok is capable of drafting a strong team and has enough cap to do so.

Johnny: Vikings – 3.5M
Grade: B+

If Johnny hadn’t also bid on the Jaguars we would have seen him snag the Vikings for 1M which is a bit impressive. Though not highly rated, the Vikings have two very great X-factor players that can carry an offense and superstar players dispersed around the
defense that can cause a lot of trouble for opposing QB’s. We will have to see what Johnny’s approach is this season regarding the player bidding as it felt like he was quite reliant on one line last season. He does have enough cap to change up his strategy so
will we get 6-30 Johnny or Playoff Johnny we will have to wait to see.

Brady: Ravens – 9M
Grade: B

This was tough as I felt Brady possibly deserved a higher score, though the main reason for my final grade is due to the amount Brady had spent for the Ravens along with the 1M cap hit he took for bidding on the Cowboys. The Ravens overall have
a really good roster with the one concern being their WR core. I know many top free agents will be attracted to playing for the Ravens though the question is how many of those top free agents/lines will Brady be capable of securing knowing he has
the least cap out of all owners. I don’t blame him for slightly overpaying for the Ravens because if you put the right users on this squad it could be end-game for the rest of this league.

Ohio: Raiders – 2.5M
Grade: B

My analysis for Ohio is quite similar to that of Mallard’s. You’ve got Devante + Jacobs who are amazing players but also have better stats this Madden compared to that of DK + Kenneth Walker. On the offensive side too we do not want to forget
Darren Waller who will be a big target for the QB’s that get drafted to the Raiders. The Raiders have an amazing DL with two X-Factor players so it should be quite easy to get pressure with this squad. Though like the Seahawks, the OL is a huge
concern along with the rest of the defense. You do have intriguing players like Divine Diablo that can be used to stop the run but we will see how the users on Ohio’s squad manage to utilize this team. I give Ohio a B as I feel this was an overall
decent team bidding for him but nothing crazy sticks out.

Mallard: Seahawks – 2.5M
Grade: B-

If this was the Seahawks in Madden 16 with the LOB I’d say this pick is a complete steal. Though with how the Seahawks roster looks like in this Madden, I am personally not the biggest fan of this pick. When evaluating this team I can say
that Geno has a solid release, and you can get quite glitchy with D.K + Kenneth Walker. The DB core is great, but the rest of the defense is dog shit along with the team’s offensive line. Overall, this team is quite offensive dependent and
if you have users that are unable to put up points it will be very hard for your squad to win games. I feel Mallard paid a solid price for the Seahawks but then you see the Raiders go for the same price and I consider them a slightly better
squad along with the Fins going for 2M which I also consider a better team. Unlike last season, Mallard does have much more cap to work with so we will see how well he does this season regarding player bidding.

Beach: Giants – 1M
Grade: C+

I’ll be quite honest, I don’t think I have ever ran with the Giants this Madden so my opinion could easily be flawed. I have heard from a friend of mine & long-time vet that the Giants have a lot of potential and are actually a decent team
yet, I do not know if I’m completely convinced. Personally, I would have chosen any other NFC East team such as the Cowboys or Commanders over the Giants. It feels like the only bright spots on this team are Saquon and the DL and I do not feel
that you can win a SB with this team at all compared to the other teams that were bidded on this season. The main positive is that Beach does have the most cap out of any owner which provides him tremendous player bidding power. We’ve seen owners
in the past secure a team for 1M but botch their player bidding, however I hope Beach does not fall down this same hole.

Smitty: Jaguars – 6.5M
Grade: C

While writing my initial review, I learned through our league commissioner that Smitty was given a 4M cap hit due to some availability issues during bidding. I eventually decided to take this penalty into consideration regarding my final grade
regardless of the Jags actually closing at 2.5M. Smitty still had the ability to take any of the remaining teams for 1m that could have saved him 1.5M in cap. On to the analysis though, the best overall player on this Jaguars team is 86 overall
Brandon Scherff which is a big yikes. While I have played with the Jaguars a few times in M23 and feel they’re a fun team to play with, I don’t know how well this team will be able to compete with the rest of the league. I’m very interested in
watching how well Smitty does during the player bidding and regular season knowing he got hit with a pretty decent penalty. Though, we have seen what he is capable of as owner as we saw his squad make it to the SB just last season.
