Top 20 Players of Season 7 Part 1 of 4 (Players 20-16)

In this article, I will be discussing my top 20 players of season 7. These rankings will be based on my experiences, statistics, and awards.

DaAccountant

DaAccountant is a top 10 defensive lineman in the league and is the sole reason he finds himself on this list at number 20. Lead the league in tackles for a loss but only accumulated 13 sacks and did not produce at a high level on the offensive side of the ball at running back. But is a solid run stopping lineman who was a menace in the backfield game in and game out. The disruption he forced in the run game helped his line to an 8-4 record. He could find himself higher on the list but he is simply not a play-caller and is top tier at his one position which is good enough to find himself in the top 20 of the league.

T1 Anime

Anime is only one of 4 wide receivers on this list and we all know that WR’s have little to do in offenses with the top tier QB’s. Although some numbers cannot be overlooked regardless of how little a player is used. Anime made this list due to his RAC yards and TD’s. Finishing 4th in both categories. Him and his QB wrecked havoc last season pairing with Ebok and winning a Super Bowl. T1 anime should be looking to pair again with another strong QB this season and improve on his already impressive numbers. Being a WR in this league requires patients to run hundreds of routes and possibly touch the ball once for a quarter of the passes that your QB throws. This is one reason why Anime makes this list, to have the season he did with a QB like Ebok, a well known troll must take some massive understanding and patience.

R0gue apollo

The 2nd of my 4 wide receivers appears at #18. I’m aware that WR’s roles are limited in the new meta of offenses. With that being said Apollo finished second in RAC yards while also having the best reception to TD ratio in the league. Also played on a line finished 11-1, losing one game all season. Although he did not have amazing defensive numbers, he was a major reason why his line only lost one game. Being on a roster that is pass heavy, WR takes patients and trusting your QB. Apollo has been a consistent WR in the league year in and year out and the best blocking WR in the league hands down.

ED Reed PWNS U

This one was a bit shocking to me while looking at the statistics. Only playing 8 games on the season when mostly everyone else played 11-12, Reed finished top 10 in sacks, TKFLs, and FFs at Defensive line. Couple that with finishing top 10 in receiving TD’s in only 8 games is truly impressive. This player would have been much higher on the list if he would have had a full season of stats. He played extremely well and took advantage of his all his opportunities that were presented to him. Helped the chargers transition to keep their winning ways after losing huskynuts to abrupt retirement. Ed reed deserves his position among the top 20 and I hope to see what he can bring with a full season of statistics.

Shady On Xbox

Shady has had a great season on the defensive side of the ball. Finishing second in defensive INT’s with 17. His season started off shaky at QB with Eagles, after transitioning to RB in week 3 and shortly being traded to the Buccaneers. He then found his footing and ended up playing under Abyss. Finding success and helping the line as a whole, rack up an impressive winning streak. Which having his dominate play at DB surely helped. Being one of the more consistent DB’s in the league year in and year out makes it no surprise that shady made the top 20.

Ranking the Owner applications

Doing the rankings with a *star system

⭐= Lowest
to
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ = 5 stars = Highest

Bhedden

Experience:  ⭐⭐⭐
3rd Season playing
Spent this past season on staff and owner of AFL Buccaneers

BHedden gets 3 stars due to the fact he has had a season of staff and AFL ownership under his resume. Although he has only 3 seasons in experience he has completed much in those 3. One of the few things he has left to do is to take ownership at the NFL level.

Skill: ⭐⭐

Bhedden is a solid player and has proven himself to be an asset at the WR and DL position. The reason for the 2 star rating is because we have yet to see him in league at QB. With the league las season reverting back the management owner rule, where both owner and GM can play at the QB position. This is going to hamper any owners who are not playing at a high level at QB.

Notoriety: ⭐⭐

Bhedden has spent his 3 season in the league learning and growing as a player and manager. He has been active in chat and constantly looking for ways to improve his expierence in the league. And has done so well although he does not have many accolades on the field he has accomplished a decent amount off it. Being staff and AFL gm has a big part to do with this. But will only get his 2 stars due to only having 3 seasons under his belt.

Overall Ranking: ⭐⭐⭐

BHedden is active in chat and i feel like deserves an opportunity to be an owner at the NFL level. Being staff one season and an AFL GM he should be knowledgeable with the VFL constitution. What kind of team he could put together will be interesting to see. His experiences in the league all sets up for him to take the next step and apply those experiences at ownership. Bhedden has been on my roster in the past and is one of the easy going guys ive had to work with in the league. I do think that does transfer well over to ownership.

Coach Comparison

Josh Mcdaniels

Has experience, looking to take the next step to prove hes his own coach.

Mrr Ohio

Experience:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Played in 11 seasons 7 as owner

This applicant needs little introduction if any. Mrr ohio has been around since almost the beginning of the entirety of the team up leagues. he has been at almost all levels of the league. As well as has many seasons of experience and will look to improve on that experience. The league would be blessed to have an owner of this caliber.

Skill:  ⭐⭐⭐
Mrr Ohio has been downright nasty at times and can very well compete with all skilled position players. But not being a QB is the reason for the missing stars this player is well versed in many positions and will compete at all.

Notoriety: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Any player who has been around this league for a while knows who Mrr ohio is. He has accolades dating back to the start of all this. Being a high ranking owner to a top ranked player from awards to competing for ships. Mrr ohio has done it all and is more than likely a shoe in for ownership, personally.

Overall Ranking:  ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Mrr Ohio will be a great owner in the league as he has before. Looking to take the mantle and try and proceed to the championship with a lot of history in his bag. The only part of this that will be an uphill battle like some other applicants is will he or can he overcome the 2 QB management rule. He has in the past and will look to do so again in season 8.

Coach Comparison

Mike Tomlin

Consistent old head who knows his away around the league

IamBeaste

Experience:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Too much

When he states too much he is not wrong. Beaste has been around since i can remember. Beaste has been an owner at an extremely high level. Competed for championships year in and year out. Beaste is probably a top candidate to take an ownership spot

Skill: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Beaste is a valid hall of fame candidate at QB. Who has just recently competed in a superbowl at QB. The most important position on the field. If that was not enough he was owner the same season. Not only a seasoned vett but also a top competitor on and off the field.

Notoriety: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Like stated previously he had just 2 seasons out competed in a Superbowl. Has long been a top QB in the league as the stats will show. This among many other accolades should put beaste at the top of the list for ownership.

Coach Comparison

Andy Reid

Been around for ever, at the top of his craft

HONORABLE MENTIONS

In honorable mentions we will go over quickly the rest of the applicants. with an overall rating only. And give a brief description on why I gave them their rating and what I believe would be best for them or the league in their situation.

SixthMallard940

OVERALL RATING: ⭐

I do believe Sixth should and could be given an opportunity for ownership in the NFL level. He has done his time in the AFL and seen what management would be like on a smaller scale. Although there is a higher level of concentration and patience at the NFL level. I think putting in your time in the AFL level should give you head way and a higher seat at taking NFL ownership than others.

FYC ISmittyIOLF

Overall Ranking: ⭐

I do not know much about this player other thank glancing over his statistics over the past few years. I granted smitty 2 stars based off of his application. If his history is correct he should be well versed with the constitution, scheduling, ect. he could be a valued sleeper pick if we have the ownership spots.

Cruce, Hexied, Boxing

Overall Ranking: ⭐⭐⭐

I am aware all of these players are well suited to play and win in the league on the field. But it takes more than madden talent to run a team. Although i do think these guys are capable of running a team one day. But i would like to see them have a season of management on their resume so they can get a taste of what it takes to maintain a team and run it all season long. On the plus side of things though they are heavy in mut and could bring new players to the league if they do get ownership.

JoeyKlutch

Overall Rating: ⭐⭐
Although equipped with years of overall experience in VFLs history. JoeyKlutch by his stats has only played in one season in recent past, Season 6 (chargers). Playing well enough to compete that season with a 6-2 record it was not a QB i know it may be redundant but again with the recent rule change regarding Owner and GMs both allowed to play QB if joey does not take a QB role he will start at a disadvantage from the other owners who do. This is definitely one of the issues alot of non QB owners will face this season. Couple that with the glaring fact that JoeyKlutch has not had any RECENT management seasons. All this is a reason for the 2 star rating.

NEEDS MORE EXPIERENCE

GMEN, HOLYTOOHIGH

I love seeing new applications and new names applying for owner. This is something that is good for the league and would love to see these guys get a GM spot at the NFL level as well as get to know more people get more active in the chats as well as inhouses. it takes time to become owner in the league and has a lot to do with player relations. i have high hopes for these guys and is good to see them apply and hope they continue to do so in the future. Who knows if they kill their interview they may get an ownership spot this season.

Wish all aplicants the best of luck and hope they all land were they want to.

9. Not Comp

OC. TEE GRIZZLEY
DC LIFTED
HC RAVENS

CAPTAIN: LIFTED

This team is coming in at number 9 Due to their inexperience here in the league and really lack of knowledge of them. They are coming in from another B league that lacks the talent of the VFL. So i would predict they will learn the skill gap quickly between the two.

8.Vicks Dawg Pound

OC: adriansoracco
DC: MyMustangIsSlow
HC: vazsers

Team captain- fear my spirit Wr/DB

Like the previous ranked team i do not have much knowledge of this team. Similar teams come to this league and do not realize that this league holds some of the highest competition in all of team play. There are rules and regs that keep alot of cheese out of the league and it really gives an opportunity to showcase actual skill and not cheese. A hard thing for a lot of new players struggle to adapt to. Maybe this team will be different but i would be surprised.

7. Brooklyn Gators

OC – Blunkey
HC – BHedden
DC – eboKtsoP

Captain: Blunkey QB/DB

XFACTOR: BLUNKEY

This team has got to be a troll. To have the back to back Superbowl champ Ebok not playing QB really dampens this teams rank. But with blunkey at QB this team takes a dramatic hit. This team has a good cast of players with him but i dont know if that will be enough to overcome his struggles. their fate will be based on his mistakes or lack thereof.

6. Sac Jacc R3d Off

OC- x Sacr1f1ce x
DC- R3D H0ur
HC- xX713JaccXx

Captain- x Sacr1f1ce x Qb/lb

XFactor: Sacrifice

This team is solid. But is lacking a bit compared to the rest of the tournament roster. Sacrifice has been hit and miss at QB they are a bit better than some other rosters but i think a big factor for this roster will be team selection. Getting a solid RB and help for sac will be key to getting wins.

5. South Central Louisiana State University Mud Dogs

OC: Homelander
HC: The Brisket
DC: Ibprofam (Backfield Mismatch)

Captain: @Homelander QB/DB

Homelander playing QB is a bit different then we have seen recently. In season 7 he played WR and played well. With a little bit of locker room problems in season 7 he got shopped but still played well. If he can put his vision at WR to QB  this team can win. They will have solid defense with brisket and a decent RB in profam. If this all comes together this could be a surprise in the tourney.

4. Connection Interrupted

OC: Userb trash
DC: RegularAssAce
HC: BOOBIE MILES

Team captain: connectionb flawed

This is another team that i feal that has a bit of a odd placement of their roster. Userb is a solid QB but im not sure if would be better at the helm than ace. Although maybe ace is a better DC. Userb can compete and is safe with the ball and has a solid run game. This may be able to produce wins in the tourney although im not sure if they will be able to compete with the higher tier competition in the tournament.

3. Glizzy gladiators

Roles:

OC – Kirk Cousins
HC – The Accountant 🧮
DC – xBeachMode

Captain: @Kirk Cousins QB/DB

This team has a good roster on it. Lucky aka Kirk cousins is a strong QB. Safe with the ball and shows promise to be able to compete at times with top talent. But does have a bit of an inconsistent streak. Beach mode is a solid DC and the accountant has shown to be solid probably top 10 DL in the league. Who is strong at Run stopping play. this team will rely on strong defense and taking care of the ball. Stong team selection will be a big factor in this teams success.

2. The Big Leagues

Roles:
OC- xxhucci
DC- CriticalTelos
HC- tpbraves57

Team Name: The Big Leagues

Captain: Critical Telos RB/DB

This team is one of the most balanced teams in the Tournament. With 2 out of the three players being superbowl champions. They will be a tough team to beat as well as braves being a former QB being a strong asset at WR is going to help this team progess throughout the tournament. depending on seeding we could see this team in the final round facing off against my ranked 1 team.

1. Hmmm Bang

OC – @AbyssZl
?? – @OrlandoStayWoke 💍
?? – @💩💩DOGWATER💩💩

Captain: AbyssZl

This team is a star-studded roster. With abyss being the most consistent QB in league history as couple that with Redwater who together won QB and WR of the year awards then add Orlando who has been a long-time teammate of abyss since the LA days. This team is going to be a force and my prediction to win it all.

Interview With MVP Snub RPO Painkiller

Today i got blessed with a lil interview with the RB/DL stud RPO Painkiller. (Congrats to TXjames on the great season)

First off, congratulations on an outstanding season. Although you were not selected as the MVP, your performance was undoubtedly deserving of recognition. Can you share your thoughts on not being selected for the award and were you surprised when TXjames was given the award?
I wouldn't say I'm surprised I kind of expected it because he went 11-1. I just don't think you being 11-1 holds the same weight when you're not leading either of your position groups in stats. And as for not being selected myself, I think slowing down and losing to some extremely good lines in the last 2 weeks hurt my chances.
Speaking of losing to good lines. You had one of the hardest strength of schedules i’ve ever seen. Do you feel like the voters didnt take that into account when choosing MVP? Fear W/L (W- Blunkey, Lucky, Abyss, Hucci, Ace, eboK, Champ) (L- TXjames, Abyss, eboK, Dirty, Warpath)
Definitely played some tough games but I didn't feel like there wasn't a single game this season were we shouldn't have won the game or could've won the game. As for the voters I'm not sure if they knew or didn't know but I find it hard to believe they did know considering I didn't win the award.
With that being said do you feel like the voters just gave him(TXjames) the award because he went 11-1? Heres his schedule. TXjames W/L (W - Fear, Ace, Hutch, Koolaidz, Hex, AP, Ace, WTB Buckets, Gmen, SirBottomis, BLK) (L- UserB)
Looking at who he played I'd say if we played the same guys my line would've at the veery least matched his record and his 11-1 wasn't impressive
You had amazing stats & broke some records but do you feel like Drocks ego got in the way of your line winning or you from putting up even better stats? Also do you feel like you & Drock was a good fit?
Idk if it was his ego, I just think we as a line got to complacent after how well the first 2 weeks went for us. As for fit, I think the plan we had and scheme we ran made us a good fit but idk if that remains consistent if the scheme or team changes but who knows.
In your opinion do you think Drock was feeling pressured by people in chat saying the browns QBs dont pass the ball? & did he feel like he had to prove himself?
I think a little bit of that played a factor into the dip off, but mostly we were practicing for like 3-4 hours a day for the first week or 2 of the season and then didn't for 2nd half of the season so I credit our drop off to that mostly.
What are your plans for season 8? Are you going to run it back on the RB/DL or do you look to DOMINATE elsewhere? Also do you have anything to say to the people who think you only had a good season because you had Nick Chubb & Myles Garrett?
I will be playing RB, as for defense idk yet. I want to play DB but I guess we'll see. And idc what RB you give me... I get the touchs and I'll dominate

Season 7 Award Predictions.

In this article I will be covering my predictions on the awards.

  • Owner of the Year
  • MVP
  • Offensive POTY
  • Defensive POTY
  • Positions OTYs
  • Rookie OTY
  • Walter Payton Man of the Year (Not predicting)

Owner of the Year

Los Angelos Chargers

TXJAMESSMITHTX

GM: King Champ

This is a pretty cut and dry award this season. The best record as well as the Chargers held first place in the power rankings all season long. Never falling out of the first-place spot. Week in and week out TXJames and Champ have kept their team ahead of the pack never failing and never faltering. Staying strong with their Bidding roster and keeping everything close to chest this is an easy selection.

MVP

Toss up

TXJAMESSMITHTX
11-1
QB/DL

QB

DL

TXJAMESSMITHTX is the most winning QB in the league. Although lacking in yardage he has the highest pass attempt to TD ration out of all QBs in the league. Finishing 3rd in passing TDS with almost 100 less pass attempts than 1 and 2. Couple this with an outstanding defensive performance where a lot of the other MVP hopefuls are lacking. With only one loss on the season, it would be hard to argue against TX getting the MVP.

FEAR PAINKILLER
7-5
RB/DL

RB

DL

Painkiller was on a tear the first two weeks of the season. Hitting some rocky points in the closing weeks. Racking up losses with low statistical gains. But none the less had an overall great year being an impactful player in almost every game he played. Making big plays on offense with over 2k yards rushing and maintaining an 8.9 ypc while reaching pay dirt 20 times. While on the other side of the ball leading the league in sacks. This looked to be a lock for MVP in the first half of the season. Finishing with strong numbers on both sides of the ball will still have a decent shot at the award.

MVP Honorable mentions

Abyss- Abyss had great numbers at the QB position and is likely a lock for QBOTY. But with three losses and underwhelming defensive numbers is the reason abyss did not make my top two mvp predictions.

EBOK- Ebok again has great QB numbers but with a rough start to the season and a mediocre record at QB there is no way this player will get the mvp shake but has worthy numbers but has fallen short as a whole.

Rookie of the Year

HXIED

Hxied coming into the league at QB was full of confidence after starting the his vfl NFL career with a slight win streak. It is not easy to come in here and succeed at QB for a first timer but with a high point offense and a spinner setup that many could not handle he did just that. Racking up a solid win loss and putting up good numbers as well. The easy front runner for ROTY

Offensive Player of the Year

QB-ABYSS

Abyss has been dominate on the offensive side of the ball. He has torn it up through the air racking up the most passing yards in the league as well as leading the league in TDs. Securing his spot here as my prediction for OPOTY. He has dominated almost all defenses he has faced after week 2. Started the season slow but picked it up as playoff positions were looming.

Defensive Player of the Year

AREIS

Areis once again has been on a tear. Taking advantage of all opportunities that have been presented leading the league in INTs with 22 the next closes player was 17. Not only has Areis been a menace taking passes away from the QBs he also gets points, leading the league in DTDs. There is no one even close to him as an impact player on the defensive side of the ball this season and for this reason i am projecting him to be the DPOY of season 7.

LINE OF THE YEAR

TXJAMESSMITHTX    QB/DL
ROGUE APOLLO      WR/LB
APPLE DANISH     RB/DB
Record 11-1

This is by far the easiest selection made thus far. Line of the year should go to the line with the best record. not going to go into much detail here. Shout out to the Chargers. #1 seed

Hitters & Sh*tters Part 3

Part 3 of Hitters and Sh*tters is here.  Let's take a dive into who were the leagues Hitters & Sh*tters!

Hitters

1) - WB OmnixGod - Now just a week ago Omni was on my list as a shitters. The next week the guy totally flips the script from going 0-3 to going 3-0. In week 3 Omni had wins over AceBoogs , Dirty Falcons , Blunkey. Throwing 6 touchdowns with over 450 passing yards on the week. Omni has the potential to be one of the leagues best QBs and in week 3 he showed his potential. 2) - Hucci - Hucci probably had the best overall week 3 out of any players. Hucci had a 3-0 record in week 3 while also throwing for over 600 yards with 11 touchdown and 0 interceptions. Hucci like Omni is a guy who has lots of potential with a lot of experience in the mut scene. When guys like Hucci tap into there potential it can be hell for the competition. 3) - Abyss - Abyss making the list once again with another great week. Another QB who had a 3-0 week after making a trade that seemed to make things better. Throwing for over 800 yards and 9 touchdowns I think Abyss has really put himself in the MVP conversation with JamesSmith and F34R Painkiller. 4) KWAM34MVP - Week 1 this guy was on my shitter list , now he has made a way onto the Hitters list for good reason. KWAM3 was traded away from Tampa and seems to have found himself in a good situation in Cincy. When he was traded I thought it could be good for him because he wouldn't be forced into being a defensive coordinator where I felt he really struggled. Not only did KWAM3 go 3-0 but he did it while also remaining a signal caller on the defensive side. KWAM3 had wins over AceBoogs , Dirty Falcons , Blunkey. Were Abyss and Redwater holding KWAM3 back?????? 5) - WoohdyV2 - Woohdy is always a player who everyone knows is talented but struggles to make or stay on a roster for a complete season. Woohdy found his way on the Chiefs in week 3 a left his mark. Woohdy was the 2nd leading rusher in week 3 with over 430 rushing yards with possibly the worst running back the league has to offer. Woohdy accounted for 7 touchdowns in week 3 for the Chiefs and helped his line go 3-0 on the week. Woohdy is also known as a RB/DL but also stepped in at DB and had 6 interceptions on the week. 6) -ll Redwater ll - Redwater has been having a great season and I think is flying under the radar. In week 3 Red lead the league in receiving yards with over 750 yards and 9 receiving touchdowns. Redwater is also known as linebacker but this season he made the switch to DL and the transition seems to be working out well. Red had 14 TFLs and 4 sacks on the week while helping lead his line to a 3-0 record in week 3. Right now Red seems to have WROTY locked up!!

Sh*tters

1) - MeowGrof - Grof really struggled in week 3 going 0-3. Not only did he struggle winning but he put up the worst QB numbers in week 3. With only 1 touchdown pass and 5 interceptions with a horrible 30% completion percentage it safe to safe MeowGrof was a shitter in week 3. 2) - Eagles Roster - Eagles really struggled in week 3 as a team so as a team they have to be called out. Eagles went 1-8 in week 3 and the only 3 people who got a win were Blunkey , Zabriel and Bloodypstain over the Bills. This team seems to have been on a roller coaster all season long. They have had some talent on the roster but it never stays. They had Natecashmoney , Shady on Xbox and Hutch to start the season but were all 3 traded , they also had Tmo on the roster for a week but he was then traded shortly after. Whenever this roster seems to have some talent they can't keep them happy and or keep them on the roster. However even with the struggles they get guys to show up and play every night.   Sorry for the short article couldn't find very many shitters this week!

Week 3 Power rankings and playoff look

Finishing up week three, the playoffs are only one week away.  This is a look at who is a head of the pack and who will be on the bubble with one week remaining in the regular season.

#1

LA CHARGERS 19-8

GA 2 (week 3 record 6-3) LW rank 1 (-)

With week 3 coming to an end and looking forward into week 4. The Chargers have had a great season and look to further progress themselves moving into a championship push. Finishing week 3 at 6-3. Same as last week has been their worst week to date. Their team as a whole has continued to get better and has a strong and solid three lines. With dirty falcons now at QB in replace of the newly retired Huskynuts the team has gotten better. On both sides of the ball, having 3 of the top 5 leaders in DTDs and two of the most consistent QBs in the league. The chargers are in a great spot to secure a first-round bye in the playoffs. Dirty falcons having a solid 2-1 week which makes it the best week for the third line, which only strengthens this teams resolve and foundation moving near the playoffs.

Cleveland Browns 17-10

GB 2 (week 3 record 6-3) LW 2 (-)

The Browns are proving to be an issue for all teams. Good or bad the browns have had opportunity’s to win every game they have played. With nick Chubb being the most broken player in madden unarguably. With no one being able to stop him. Spam the A button score TDs seems to be the trend in Cleveland. And the trend is working giving all three Browns RBs the top three RB spots in the league. With every RB toating the rock over 150x through 9 games and all gathering more than 15 TDs. With high ypc averages these RBs are clearly making their marks in the league. Especially FearPainkiller who is by far leading the MVP race with 18tds a 9.7 ypc and 25.5 sacks on the other side of the ball. Painkiller has been a menace to the league and is the leading canidate for the MVP, Barring he does not slip up in week 4 which does not seem will be the case. The browns will look to have a strong week 4 and lock in the 1st or 2nd seed. which should happen with just a handful of wins. This team i believe as of rn is the team to watch going into the playoffs and is probably the SB favorites as of RN even sitting at number 2.

PROS
-Best RB in madden

Cons
-No QB abilities
-Small window for error. Go behind 2 scores running game may not be enough.

#3

Kansas City Chiefs 15-12

GB 2 (Week 3 record 7-2) LW 6th (+3)

The Kansas City Chiefs made a splash in week 3 having their best week of the season, going 7-2 climbing three spots in the rankings from week 2. Chiefs finally got high quality productions out of Hucci who did finish the week winning PLOTW award. Finishing the week with 600+ yards 11tds and 4 sacks on the defensive side of the ball. Coming into the week hucci has not had the best season. As well as his QB brethren Ebokstop both have been struggling in the win loss category. But all that changed this week with Ebok going 2-1 his only loss coming to the #2 powerhouse Browns, and huccie going 3-0. If the chiefs are fixing their struggles it is going to be a big issue moving forward into the playoffs. They were power ranked second by most polls coming into the season and has been a disappointment for the most part. All that may change a lot to watch for in week 4. To see if Ebok can produce another winning week and if hucci can keep a steady consistent pace with his week 3 POTW performance.

#4

Tampa bay Buccaneers 14-13

GB 1 (Week 3 record 5-4) LW 4 (-)

The Buccaneers in the preseason were the consensus #1 team. But with a struggling DTM koolaidz who has had every DC in the league on his line this season and still somehow finds a way to struggle. The buccaneers find themselves at number 4 once again. Which may not be a horrible place to be. With abyss coming through with a 3-0 week and Koolaidz getting some clutch wins that were truly needed. The Buccaneers give a strong feeling that they may be on the rise. It is definitely not an offensive issue their woes are coming on the defensive side of the ball. Having the 3rd worst defense in the league. Although improving that by one spot last week the Buccaneers had the second to last defense in the league. Progression? who knows. But it is the one and only consistent issue the Buccaneers face game in and game out. How will they get stops. With high powered offenses from koolaids and abyss, if the Bucs can find a way to rally the defensive troops they may find themselves a true threat in the playoffs.

#5

Buffalo Bills 14-13

GB - (Week 3 record 5-4) LW #5 (-)

The Bills are still in the mix for a solid seat in the playoffs. They have had solid offensive play, nothing that breaks the barrier but solid. With von miller being out the bills have still been able to remain a competitive defensive unit. and will continue to do so pushing forward to week 3. Leading the way in the defensive aspect is Areis. Who is a front runner for DBOTY. But the big news for the bills this week was the acquisition of commissioner TMO. With trade deadline looming the bills made a las second transaction to acquire TMO via trade with the eagles, Eagles will receive highwalker in return, the bills just recently recieved highwalker in a trade with the Bengals. So essentially a three-way trade. With TMO hitting the bills roster where he spent season 6 he is looking to make some changes. The once self-proclaimed minister of defense has not been nearly defensive this season starting with Buccs having struggles there then getting shopped around and ending up here heading into week 4 with the bills. The bills who are in a comfy spot looking to secure the playoff spot this week will look to tmo to help improve the mediocre roster here on the bills. The bills have a solid opportunity to make a splash in the playoffs they just have to work around the lack of von miller and use their weapons to their advantage which seems to be the case for a few lines there already. They will need high production from their QBs and strong stands on defense when the opportunity arises and then they may have a shot at the ship at the end of the season.

Greenbay packers 14-13

GB - (Week 3 record 3-6) LW#3 (-3)

The packers have had a rough go this week. Their money line with the “MUT BOYS” have fallen apart. I know for sure hexied and crew lost two this week. Hard to see how bad they did with no stats being entered yet in specific games. After losing their first games the Hexied line fell apart not only blowing up on his line in game but also reflecting his feeling in discord. Going on a personal attack rant which in the end ended up getting him muted “Indefinitely”. This breakdown from the self-proclaimed “BEST LINE IN VFL HISTORY” is a harsh reality for the Packers. How they recover from such a tragic week is a sight we all will look apon as week 4 closes in. and how the packers recover as a whole moving into the playoffs. Falling to rank 6 after having a great first half of the season is a bit of a shocker. The packers will have to bounce back and grab some momentum going into the playoffs. Needing hexied to gather his thoughts and start playing like they need him to play. and not throwing a tantrum in discord. Maybe just maybe the packers will have some sort of shot at any type of success in the playoffs. But honestly in my opinion i do not see this happening. I feel the packers are just to mediocre not only in madden but also in league roster. They are neither good nor bad just there.

Cincinnati Bengals 10-17

GB 4 (Week 3 record 4-5) LW #7 (-)

The bengals are not looking good. Struggling to having a winning week. The Bengals playoff hopes are grim. With being 4 games behind they will need a miracle to make a playoff birth. With only 9 games in the week and 4 games behind the Bengals will need to win at least 7 and pray for a crumble of the packers. With none of their QBs having a winning record through 3 weeks, their playoff appearance is looking nonexistent. All season long the Bengals have struggled to get a head of their losses and going into week 4 nothing is different. With trading Highwalker for crazy effects I don’t see this being the game changing move they need to make it pass the mountain the Bengals have been climbing all season. Although may smooth some things out in the locker room it doesn’t appear that locker room antics is the issue here. But we shall see.

Philidelphia Eagles 5-21

GB 9 (Week 3 1-8) LW 8 (-)

Im going to try and be as gentle as i can here. There was some chaos at the trade deadline with some players around the league having issues with a team whom is mathematically eliminated from the playoffs making a trade when it benefits them none. I do believe they are mathematically eliminated even if they go 9-0 and the packers go 0-9 i assume the packers would still have the tie breakers. So the best thing i can say about the Eagles is that the owner johnny wheels will make sure no matter what that his team is there for their games. In doing so will not produce any FFs. Other than that this team is only here to play and enjoy themselves. There season will end at the end of week 4.

Hitters & Shitters Part 2

Part 2 of Hitters and Shitters is here. It will be a slightly different then last week but not much different.

Hitters

  1) - TxJamesSmithTx - TxJamesSmith put together another great week just like week 1. 3-0 for the second week in a row with a 6-0 record in season 2. If James can keep this up for another 2 weeks he will be right in the thick of things in the MVP race. Over 600 passing yards and 10 touchdown passes James was surely a hitter in week 2. 2) - F34R Painkiller - F34R finds himself back on this list back to back weeks. F34R so far has to be the front runner for MVP. His dominance on both sides of the ball says it all with a season record of 5-1. F34R numbers took a hit from compared to week 1 but the numbers are still there. Over 450 rushing yards and 9 sacks on the week still has him leading the league in both rushing yards and sacks within the league. 3) - AbyssZl - Abyss had himself a week like we are used to seeing in Madden 22. Abyss racked up over 1,000 passing yards and threw 11 touchdowns in week 2. Abyss is the only VFL 2x MVP and he is getting back to the dominance we are all used to and except. 4) - Hxied - The new kid on the block and he made sure the block was hot in week 2. This guy wasn't even on a roster in week 1 and instantly comes in and makes a impact for the Packers. Going 3-0 in week 2 with great numbers on both sides of the ball. In the league chat he ideally said he put a end to the Minster of Defense ( Tmo ). Im excited to see if he will keep this up for the remainder of the season. Rumor has it he has called out the Chargers this week and hes ready to put the league on notice. 5) - TPBraves - Bengals owner TPBraves  at the beginning of the season said the only competition was the Bucs and he was looking to make a superbowl run. TPBraves put up some impressive numbers in week 2 with a 2-1 record. Throwing for over 750 passing yards with 8 touchdown passes and 1 interception is good for this being his first time playing Quarterback. Looking for him to keep these numbers up in week 3. 6) - IRxBrady - Brady is known for being one of the leagues best Quarterback for the past 6 seasons , however he has stepped away and showing everyone not only is he a good QB but he can also play a little running back as well. Brady led the league in rushing week 2 with over 660 rushing yards while averaging 12.3 yards per carry. 7) - LuckyyDabs - Luckyy for some time now has claimed nobody in the league ever gives him any credit and he proclaims himself as ( Top 5 ). Luckyy had a week that not even I expected he could put together. Lucky was 11 yards short of passing for 800 yards in week 2 and also had 10 touchdown passes in light of his GM stepping down and had to make some roster changes to keep his team afloat.

Shitters

  1) - WB OmnixGod - OmnixGod is a surprise to me that he made my shitter list on the week. I looked and saw he was 0-3 on the week and Im very shocked Omni would allow himself to go 0-3 in a week. Omni was cut from the Packers last week and I didnt know why. Omni was just a superbowl winning Quarterback about a month ago and now hes been cut and went 0-3 on his new team. Do better Omni because we expect better from you! 2) - Warpath - Warpath is either hot or cold and this week he found himself in freezing water. Going 1-2 on the week with a very low completion percentage with only 1 touchdown pass and 5 interceptions Warpath had to make my shitter list. Im expecting a bounce back week from Warpath in week 3. 3) - JusttSmoove - Another former Packer who found himself traded. It is very unlike JusttSmoove to have a week with only 6 carries and 23 rushing yards with 0 defensive stats. Smoove is usually one of the league best running back and he just had a huge drop off in product. Im expecting a bounce back from Smoove in week 3. 4) - DTM Koolaidz , Ungluetiger , Tmo - Like week 1 I picked a line that was very underwhelming and this line fit the bill. This is a line that was expected to be one of the leagues best and the managed to put together a 0-3 week. There week was so bad as a line all 3 of the QBs they faced this week made my hitters list this week. As I said in week 1 the line of Hutch , Goodfella and KingxJon had to be broken up. Before I could even get this out TMO has already been shipped off to Philly and Nate will fill in for TMO in Tampa. Will this line improve or remain a struggle bus?

AFL

Wanted to give a shout out to our guys in the AFL doing a wonderful job. We have 4 people running a AFL team currently and we will be looking to expand that in the upcoming seasons. AFL is very important to our league and we can't grow as a league without them. Shout out to these few guys helping out and balling in the AFL. HIGH TIMES TOP 8 QB RANKINGS

#8. HXIED "BIGGEST PRO = LOW salary & MASSIVE POTENTIAL / BIGGEST CON = CAN HE ONLY SUCCEED WITH HIS MUT FRIENDS?".

The only true VFL rookie QB to make the list, since TPBRAVES technically played WR last season. Sure, AR is a cheat code to user, but running with the Green Bay offense, IS NOT. What makes HXIED's performance thus far even more spectacular, is the fact that he was a late addition to his team and basically had to jump right in... Not only to a new team, but a team that was in VFL turmoil after their GM retired and two different core players were traded away.

#7. BLKSUP3RSA1YAN "BIGGEST PRO = MASSIVE DUAL THREAT ABILITY/ BIGGEST CON = REPETITIVE & bASIC PLAYCALLING".

Quite possibly, one of the most enjoyable to watch QBs in our league, BLK is someone who simply sees the field different from most QBs in the VFL- more than likely due to his RB background. Another major selling point of this QB is his willingness to get his user WR involved - not just throwing to himself on most plays.

#6. TPBRAVES "biggest pro = great scheme/utilizes every player on the field/ biggest con = inexperienced and plays timid at times".

BRAVES has proved many doubters wrong so far this season with his ability to win big games and keep pace statistically with fellow top VFL QB's. From firsthand experience, this QB has the potential to be a top 8 play caller for many seasons to come- ideally moving forward you would like to see him develop a relationship with fellow VFL talent, so his lines aren't always thrown together last second and lacking past chemistry.

#5. EBOK "biggest pro = elite playbook knowledge / biggest con = hot and cold team performances, never consistently winning games".

Ebok is most certainly on the VFL's Mount Rushmore of league quarterbacks. It seems like every season he's either the favorite or a strong dark horse SB candidate. Statistically speaking his numbers outshine most, but his current W/L record and low completion percentage are slight concerns. One thing is for certain, when watching or playing against his line, the game is going to be a complete shoot out!

#4. CHAMP "Biggest pro = has some nearly impossible mut plays to stop/ biggest con = if highpoint passing wasnt so op, would he do this well"?

Champ is living the good life this season. Not only does he have the blessing of using the Chargers offense, but he fortunately has the blessing of using the best High point passer in Madden per his in-game abilities. Either way, we can't take away from his success thus far, with a nearly perfect season record and a very strong TD to INT ratio, one thing is for certain when Champ lines up for a VFL game- his opponents have a very tough road ahead of them.

#3. LUCKY "Biggest pro = possibly the leagues best game manager / biggest con = good at everything, great at minimal".

This QB deserves a lot of credit this season. From constant ridiculing in general chat, to players leaving and lines being changed ultra-frequently- LUCKY has been able to drown out the noise and simply focus on winning football games. His stats won't blow you away, but he does lead the league in completion percentage- which tells me, he's making the right decision more times than not.

#2. ABYSS " biggest pro = plays madden like an actual qb would/ biggest con = lets too many winnable games slip away".

Ironically speaking, Abyss might be our league's version of Tom Brady once you break down the all-time stats. I would say he's probably the most sought after QB to play for, posing very minimal ego and always in consideration for a league title. There's not much I could say here, that hasn't been said before by most other league members. Abyss could easily be our #1 ranked QB if his record wasn't a surprising 3-3.

#1. TXJAMESSMITHTX " biggest pro = most efficient qb in our league/ biggest con = none at this moment".

All you really need to say is 6-0 record. When our league revealed it's early MVP Canidates and TXJAMES wasn't listed, I truly believe we could have broken the VFL's code of conduct and started a riot!
