1 - Chiefs
There are five 99 overall players in Madden 24 and the Chiefs have two of them in Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce. Players like Kadarius Toney, MVS and Isaiah Pacheco form an elite, and very user friendly, supporting cast around their two superstars. The offensive line is very good, Chris Jones is 96 overall and the defensive backs are very fast. The Chiefs should be one of the most contested teams in Season One.
2 - Bills
This might be a controversial spot, but the Bills might be one of the strongest teams in Madden 24. Josh Allen is one of two QBs who have access to the diving throw animation. This animation was elite in the beta, and it may make the Bills an elite offense. The defense lost a big piece in Tremaine Edmunds, but their offensive line should be improved over last year.
3 - Chargers
Another team that was a staple of Madden 23, the Chargers brought back all of their core offensive pieces (including Donald Parham Jr.) and should be solid again in Madden 24. Kahlil Mack has taken a steep drop in rating, but they added Eric Kendricks so the defense should be fine.
4 - Jets
The J-E-T-S are finally relevant again baby, let’s go. Gang Green added about 15 former Packers and most of them are good in Madden. Aaron Rodgers is only an 86 overall, but I’m sure he’ll still have the best throwing animation in the game with a few great superstar abilities. This team is going to be really fun to use.
5 - Bengals
Really solid team, but they’re also really boring. Joe Burrow doesn’t have the throw power of the other QBs, it’s only 87, and Ja’marr Chase doesn’t have the amazing physicals you’d hope from a high overall receiver. They didn’t make any major additions in the offseason and they lost Jessie Bates, so this isn’t going to be as good of a team as last year. The Bengals should still be a top-5 team, however, because of the falls of Green Bay and Tampa Bay.
6 - Eagles
I’m guessing this will be the lowest spot the Eagles hold on our Team Power Rankings. This team is full of cracked players. Jalen Hurts is massively overrated, they retained almost all of their important players and they added some rookies that have some ridiculous physical attributes.
7 - Dolphins
Tyreek Hill is the best offensive weapon in the game and is really the only reason this team is in the top-10 at all. Tua is still very mediocre, but the defense is very solid and will add 97 overall Jalen Ramsey once he returns from a torn meniscus.
8 - Ravens
Lamar Jackson is still Lamar Jackson and his supporting cast is the best its ever been. This team should be regularly used in Madden 24, especially for QBs who know how to use scrambling QBs.
9 - Browns
I’m not sure how the run game will play in Madden 24, but I believe that Nick Chubb will be able to succeed in any environment. Deshaun Watson is a scrub, but they kept their core intact and added a few big names like Za’Darius Smith and Juan Thornhill.
10 - Patriots
You may be thinking that I’m just throwing the Patriots on here because I’m trying to fit all four AFC East teams on here, but the Pats might legitimately be the fastest and tallest team in the game. Tyquan Thornton is 6’2 with 96 speed, and they added two rookie CBs that have 95 speed in Ameer Speed and Isaiah Bolden. Speed is 6’3, Bolden is 6’2. Add them to 6’1, 93 speed Christian Gonzales and the Pats may be a surprising team in Madden 24.

#7 USERBFLAWLESS: User was given the depressing task of playing with the legend Kirk Cousins but has gotten the job done going 4-2. It's hard to speak highly of this player when he never speaks highly of himself, but this will be 3 seasons now where UserB has shown the league he can be a very dependable LINE 2 QB.
#6 BEASTE: A lot of hate circulating around this player, but personally I believe it's undeserved. From an IQ and capability standpoint, Beaste knows how to win in this league and has proven that time and time again. I would say his "issue" is similar to Aaron Rodgers, he needs a change of scenery. Step away from Owner and sign up as a player and most importantly step away from BeefyChub and get back to your winning ways.
#5 SWIFT AP: A somewhat new face to the "elite player" conversation, but this QB and his line are possibly some of the most consistent players in this league and personally, I'm happy to see them win. 12-6 record dating back to last szn, Swift and the AP squad are proving he/they need to be considered a LINE 1 QB/Team in this league.
#3 BRADY: Everything I said about Champ, can also apply to Brady.. except he can get a little mouthy from time to time.. PAUSE. I do need to give major props to his team selecting decision, I think it took a ton of balls (Idk why I keep sounding so sus) to switch off of BAL after spending the $$ he did and deciding to use DAL.
#1 EBOK: I've said this many times before and I'll say it again now.. I stopped betting against this dude a long time ago. It's all too familiar at this point! Ebok and company start the szn off a little rocky, but come playoff time BOOM. Now, loosing Hex does throw a major wrench into Ebok's dynasty plans, but an honorable mention QB "Drock" is a QB to watch out for moving forward.
Woody- LaDainian Tomlinson 2006 Season: LT had one of the most dominant seasons the NFL has ever seen in 2006 with a combined 31 TDs and over 2000 yards. It was an MVP year for the star running back and that's exactly where Woody sits after Week 2.
Shady- Legarrette Blount 2018 Season: Shady is a known player in the league with impressive past seasons similar to Blount before 2018, this season though has started off rocky to say the least. Like Blount in 2018 who ran for a league's worst YPC 2.7, Shady finds himself this season at the bottom of VFL with 4.4 YPC.
RogueApollo- Davante Adams 2020 Season: The 2020 season in the NFL was the Aaron Rodgers/Davante Adams show! Similar to our league, TXSmith and Rogue are very dependent on one another, but season after season dominate statistically. Adams finished the year leading in almost every WR category, Rogue should follow suit in Season 8.
Smash6090- Danny Amendola 2019 Season: Smash and Danny were both put into solid scenarios, Smash playing in BUF w Allen and Danny commanding 100 targets in the 2019 season, unfortunately neither have been able to do much with it. Smash through Week2 has a minimal 2 TDS and 455 yards, back in 2019 Amendola with his 100 targets, could only muster up 1 TD and 678 yards.
Accountant- Jared Allen 2011 Season: Back in 2011, Allen was in a league of his own.. He ended that campaign with a powerful 22 sacks and completely dominated on his side of the ball. Accountant through week 2 has also been in a LEAGUE OF HIS OWN. Using MIA lineman, he's somehow surpassed users playing with Myles Garrett and Von Miller. Currently sitting at 18 sacks and half the season left, he could quite possibly surpass 40 sacks now usering Myles Garrett himself!
Abyss- Charles Woodson 2009 Season: Back in 2009 Woodson was a straight animal, who dominated in every aspect of defense. 9INTS, 2 Sacks, 4 forced fumbles and 3 TDs- this would carry him to a Defensive Player of the year title. Abyss is in a similar position, posting a highly impressive stat line of 6.5 sacks, 9 INTs, 2 FR and 3 TDs.

Cowboys: 4-5 was a better opening week than I would have predicted. The AP line is the most deceiving line in the league, they never go for any real money, but they can beat anyone... I still want to see what this team's long term goal is. Spent nothing on their NFL team and nothing on their VFL players, they have more cap than the Browns and the Browns have 16 MILLION LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Eagles: Could Ebok pull an MJ and 3peat??! It's funny, last two times he won, I can remember early points in the season where it seemed like his teams were destined to fail, then the big turnaround happens. This year could always follow suit, but I'm still on the fence about a non-elite QB team winning over the games current meta of high ball passing. 5-4 is still respectable and the season is still young.
Bucs: At 6-3, this is exactly where I assumed a team with 3 elite QBs would be. Another no brainer scenario where of course Beaste lands Brady as GM, after Brady spent all off season telling everyone he wouldn't do it and of course somehow Abyss falls right in their lap, after he ironically posted his "scheduling issues" for the upcoming season. So once again, I won't roast or praise this team.. OBVIOUSLY their going to do well.
Dolphins: Middle of the pack at 4-5, the Dolphins are an odd team to predict, with their out of nowhere trades that actually benefitted them the most in the end ironically- this team will need to find their identity as we head into Week2. Their best weapons at the moment, are also the thing that could potentially hold them back. Accountant and Brisket have always made it known they will look for trades if things don't go as planned, for a new Owner/GM using a team like MIA in a league filled with KC, BUF, TB, LAC, GB, that's a recipe for disaster unless this team gets hot next week. Week 2 is make or break for them!!

Week 2.... Here... We... Come.
