Woohdy and Lurker Through???

VFL DRAMA ALERT: Trouble for Unhinged Users??

It looks like Lucky’s claim that his team won’t be making any transactions this season is already in jeopardy. There are rumors swirling that Lucky’s second line may have already decided to go their separate ways. His second line consists of CG Lurker, Woohdy and Brisket. Woohdy is the best running back in the league and he knows it. Woohdy also wants a qb that is going to prioritize wins over their own stats. Lurker has shown that he can call a run-heavy offense in the past, so it’s unclear exactly what the issue is. Hucci called Lurker a “game manager” and said his gameplan consisted of “Pounding the rock and keeping the defense in the box” and that sounds like a good fit for Woohdy. Check out the rest of Hucci’s analysis over at: https://primetimeleagues.com/vfl/2023/08/18/the-unhinged-users-team-analysis-can-luckyy-make-another-run/.   I reached out to Woohdy for a quote for some clarity on the situation:

Why would you write an article about this”

–

Fair enough, and woohdy raises a good point, is this even article-worthy? Was Woohdy’s trade request in chat all just a joke? Was this just an elaborate ruse from Woohdy and Lurker? Why would they do this if it was? To answer that, we were going to have to get the full story and we clearly weren’t going to get it from Woohdy. So what about Lurker? When I reached out to him, Lurker was in disbelief. “[I] Can’t believe woohdy would make such a comment” followed immediately by three “sob” emojis. If he wasn’t upset, he was doing a pretty poor job of showing it. In the end, however, it sounds like Lurker was going to be fine with whatever happens.

“no need for me to be mad when lucky will more than likely trade me this season”

                                                              -CG Lurker

This investigation was getting nowhere, we had to go to the head honcho and Lucky was kind enough to provide us some answers. I wanted the whole story from him. Was this a real trade request? Was it indicative of any issues on the team? Lucky denied any trouble on the team and assured us that Woohdy and Lurker were just joking around with each other. He acknowledged that there were some big egos on the team, but that came from people being competitive and wanting a ring.

“Woohdy with lurker and brisket will have a very successful season this season.”

                                                          -CG Lucky

So there we have it. All is well in LuckyLand, if its king is to be believed. The trade request was a joke. Woohdy, Lurker and Brisket all still want to play together. This should be an elite line, with three elite defensive users, if they can manage to find a good balance on offense. I’m exercising caution however; Woohdy is going to expect greatness and Lurker’s Madden 23 QB statline of 29 TDs and 39 INTs isn’t going to get it done. This is one of the early lines to watch in the VFL. If they suffer a big defeat early, it could break the chemistry on the line and could lead to those transactions that Lucky has said he didn’t want to make.

Tmo Interview

Tmo has been a respected player in the league since league arena days! Since the revival of team play and the VFL Tmo has won 3 super bowls and has been a force on defense! He also took over as owner of the league and brought in a great group of guys to help revive and rebuild the league!

Q: What made you want to take ownership of a team this season?

A: “Wanted to show the league that anyone can be owner and I wanted to compete against the best 👌🏾”

Q: What is your strategy to compete with the “super teams” that everyone is scared to face up against.

A: “Never been scared to play anyone. My strategy will be same as always. “Adapt and dominate ” “

Q: For me the VFL has been appealing because I meet a lot of new people who have a common interest in madden. Has there been anyone you enjoy being around you met that you wouldn’t have without the VFL?

A: “King logic kinda like my lil brother.   We definitely from different worlds but we created a bond over madden.”

Q: Being the owner of the league and on the board of directors, do you have anything you’d like to let the people know about your vision that you have for the league that may have not been said yet?

A: “My vision  has always  to have fun and play with the people you want to play with or for.   Don’t get me wrong I like the “old vfl” but times have changed  and we wanted to adapt and try something new.”

Q: For people who don’t know you well, how would you describe your personality? #datingquestions

A: “I’m actually cool and laid back. I keep quiet  in the chats cause I’m not with all the drama. I’m very approachable and will talk to or with anyone. I highly competitive to.”

Cleveland Steamers Deep Dive

Owner: I FiG 1 / @FiG  – (24 – 15)

  • Passing: 131-187, 1806yards, 11 TDs, 12 INTs
  • Rushing: 116 Attempts, 836 Yards, 7.2 YPC, 8 TDs
  • Receiving: 98 Receptions, 2081 Yards, 21.2 YPC, 16 TDs, 419 RAC
  • Defense: 15 TFL, 1 Sack, 20 INT, 13 PDEF, 3 DTD

Pork’s Analysis – Fig starts madden 24 as a VFL owner. Feel like he is pretty well known and as seen with his stats will play anywhere he needs. 24-15 is a solid record for madden 23. An interesting character for sure, feel like everybody has a different opinion on him. Me personally I’ve always been cool with Fig and I’m excited to see what he can do with a team he has formed instead of a team he has bidded for.

  • GM/P1: FYC ISmittyIOLF/ @Smitty21420 – (16 – 17)
  • Receiving: 154 Receptions, 2484 Yards, 16.1 YPC, 14 TDs, 602 RAC
  • Defense: 87 TFL, 33 Sacks, 5 INT, 6 PDEF, 2 FF, 1 DTD

Pork’s Analysis – Smitty!! Similar to Gabe with Ebok, Smitty is the peanut butter to Figs jelly or i guess jam in this case. Dominant receiver and great defensive player, Smitty is a great go to guy in the VFL. Might not shock you all the time, but he will get the job done.

  • P2: xBehe / @xbehe – (9 – 16)
  • Receiving: 102 Receptions, 1651 Yards, 16.1 YPC, 12 TDs, 241 RAC
  • Defense: 35 TFL, 7 Sacks, 9 INTs, 9 PDEF, 1 FF, 4 DTDs

Pork’s Analysis – I will always support Behe. He was the guy who introduced me to the VFL and the reason I’m here. So blame him. All jokes aside, behe had a rough madden 23. Sitting at 9-16 isn’t ideal. Granted he did all he could do with his role. More of a QB problem when you are a WR like behe. I expect him to succeed this year.

  • P3: Natecvshmney / @Solid Line 2 DC
  • Rushing: 375 Rushes, 2329 Yards, 6.2 YPC, 26 TDs, 1 Fum
  • Receiving: 124 Receptions, 1883 Yards, 15.1 YPC, 14 TDs, 727 RAC
  • Defense: 118 TFL, 23 Sacks, 3 INTs, 3 FF, 3 DTD, 17 PDEF

Pork’s Analysis – says it in the name. Solid line 2 DC. Nate is a very underrated player if I’m being honest. Looking at these stats he had a fantastic madden 23. And wasn’t high in the top 25. Great rushing stats, fine receiving stats and the defense looks fine. He is also a fine CFM Commish. Think Nate will shock some people this year, keep an eye out.

  • P4: xxHucci / @Hucci – (23 – 14)
  • Passing: 350-556, 5256 Yards, 51 TDs, 34 INTs
  • Defense: 37 TFLs, 4 Sacks, 20 INTs, 29 PDEF, 3 FF, 7 DTDs

Pork’s Analysis – Hucci. He’s pretty good at this game i tell ya. Everybody knows him, most everybody loves him. Except Blunkey but its blunkey so whatever. The stats are phenomenal at QB, went 23-14 which will play. Hucci is a top 10 to 15 player in the league and i think he gets better with the new madden mechanics. Don’t know who is on his line but he has a gift of making things work.

  • P5: Shady on Xbox / @Shady – (18 – 17)
  • Rushing: 355 Rushes, 2241 Yards, 6.3 YPC, 26 TDs, 1 Fum
  • Defense: 29 TFLs, 4 Sacks, 30 INTs, 23 PDEF, 2 FF, 8 DTDs, 1 KRTD

Pork’s Analysis – Very very very good player in shady. Played with shady in my first year of VFL and the dude is great. Plays fine on D and one of the best runners in the league. Patient, knows how to spam A, knows how to read the blocks. Shady is positioned to thrive on this roster and will. Expect big numbers, maybe even compete for some awards.

  • P6/Sub: Rigs Time/ @Rigs Time – (11 – 28)
  • Rushing: 313 Rushes, 1667 Yards, 5.6 YPC, 15 TDs, 2 Fum
  • Receiving: 86 Receptions, 1307 Yards, 7 TDs, 382 RAC
  • Defense: 18 TFL, 1 Sack, 35 INT, 32 PDEF, 1 FF, 5 DTD

Pork’s Analysis – Rigs will be a fine sub for the team. Can play multiple offensive positions and looks like a stud defensively. He will fill his roll and be there when Fig needs him.

  • P7/ Sub: II 2 DA CRIB II / @Cribothy 🗣🔒

No Stats Available

Pork’s Analysis – I don’t know the guy. With that being said, Fig knows him enough. In Fig we trust.

Top 10 Madden Teams ( Defense Only )

Top 10 Madden Defenses

This article will be a focus of what teams I view as the top 10 defenses upcoming for the VFL with our new rules where we will allow we users to be in coverage this upcoming season.

1 – Bills ) – I think its pretty clear cut the Bills have the best defense on Madden. Madden has tried to tell us abilities won’t matter as much in Madden 24 however we know this is a lie. Abilities will once again reign supreme on any mode in Madden. Bills have 3 good defensive backs with some type of knockout ability which will help prevent catches from receivers , tight ends and running backs. Not to mention the Bills have a couple good defensive lineman Von Miller and Ed Oliver. With 3 users in coverage along with good knockout abilities and a Elite pass rusher like Von Miller I dont see how there is a better defense then the Bills.

2 – Cowboys ) – While we all love to making fun of and meme the Cowboys to me without a doubt have a top 2 defense on Madden. Madden moved Parsons from OLB to DE so as a DC that puts a smile on my face. Being able to put Parsons at DT makes things tough for opposing QBs. Along with Parsons being a full time Defensive Lineman the Cowboys also added Gilmore this off season via trade. This now give Trevon Diggs a partner in crime in the secondary. With Parsons and Lawrence rushing the passer while having 2 DBs in the secondary with Acrobat this could led to alot of turnovers. This is why I have the Cowboys ranked at the 2 spot.

3- Chargers ) – Chargers are probably the easiest defense to play with with our new rules , just simply call 2 man under and let Mack and Bosa win you the game with there pass rush. I think 2 man under will be the early meta and QBs will struggle. What better team to use then the Chargers to run the 2 man under meta who 2 elite pass rushers. Derwin James is a Swiss army knife type of player. He can be good as a user of good as a cpu deep blue on good as in a flat zone. J.C. Jackson is a good corner and Samuel Jr is also a good corner for madden purposes. Chargers will be a top defense within the VFL and thats why I have them at 3.

4 Eagles ) – Philly to me is a slightly worse defense then the Chargers. I think you will see people play the same way with the Eagles on the defense the same way I suggest playing with the Chargers. Tons of 2 man under because the team has great defensive line along with good players in the secondary. Slay is probably a top 3 corner on madden along with what might be the deepest DL on the game Eagles will easily be one of the best defensive teams to use.

5 Jets ) – Jets have always been a good defense but with the addition of the Jets adding Aaron Rodgers this off season it just makes it more clear they are a top defense.  Sauce Gardner is the best young corner in the NFL so his ratings are really good. Jets have some good users with speed with one being Ashyton Davis. Quinnin Williams is the anchor of the Jets defensive line as a top defensive tackle. Jets defense along with the addition on adding Aaron Rodgers on offense will make this team a much better team to use defensively because of the how much better Rodgers alone makes the team.

6 49ers ) – Nick Bosa is the name that jumps off the screen right away.  Not to mention 49ers signed Hargrave a elite defensive tackle this off season to make that defense even stronger. Fred Warner is also one of the only usable linebackers on Madden due to needing the Lurker ability to get the good jumping animations. 49ers have probably the 2nd best all around front 7 on Madden which is why they get the nod at the 6 spot on my list.

7 Browns ) – Browns made a couple good signing this offseason with Za’Darius Smith and Juan Thornhill. They needed those 2 signing after losing Clowney and madden stud Greddy Williams.  Adding a good pass rusher like Smith and putting him next to Myles Garrett will cause tons of issues for opposing QBs. Juan Thornhill in the secondary along with underrated corner Denzel Ward will also make the Browns secondary solid to go along with an elite pass rush. Browns at 7 is a good defense.

8 Bengals ) – Bengals are probably the best defense on the game for a defense that doesn’t have any abilities. Even without the abilities on defense the thing that makes them good is speed. Drafting rookie DJ Turner who has 97 speed gives you alot of freedom on defense. Hubbard and Hendrickson are 2 of the better pass rushers without abilities along with DJ Reader in the middle. Losing Jessie Bates the Bengals take a slight hit but will still be one of the better defenses on the game.

9 Packers ) – Packers like the Eagles have tons of people you can put on the defensive line. We know they have Kenny Clark and Gary but its guys like Preston Smith , Wyatt and rookie Lukas Van Ness that add depth to a talented defensive line group. Packers also still have good secondary with Jaire Alexander leading the way. I dont know how much people will use the Packers with the loss of Aaron Rodgers and a few of there receivers but I can tell you there defense is still top notch.

10 Ravens ) – Ravens defense isn’t what it used to be due to losing Campbell on the DL and Marcus Peters in the secondary but they are still very good. They have some speed on the defensive line with Oweh and Ojabo on the edge with Michael Pierce still manning the interior. Marlon Humphrey is still on of the best man coverage corners on the game which makes the Ravens secondary a force. Also Kyle Hamilton is one of if not the best user safety on the game. Ravens round out my top 10 on defense.

We’re Taking a Morning Blunkey – A Blunkey Interview

Blunkey blunkey blunkey, one of the only owners I was not looking forward to interviewing. He shows up and plays yes, however, he is probably the most popular bad troll I’ve ever met. He even has an emoji for him in the chat 💩. All jokes aside he’s not that bad once you get to know him sometimes he’s actually kind of funny. But let’s pick this dudes brain a little before the season starts!

Q: I know being an owner in the league has been something you’ve wanted for a while now. This being your first time to be an owner in the league what strategy do you have to prove you deserve to be an owner?

Blunkey: “The Strategy Is To Match Myself Up Against the Tough Opponents And Give the easy opponents to my 2nd line QB.”

Q: Seeing how the league is changing what are some things you like and/ or dislike about the direction it seems to be going?

Blunkey: “I think adding a buy in for owners to the league was the right decision. But they shouldn’t of made it where you bring your own roster. Less players will have opportunities to play since everyone already brings there own roster.

Q: How did you hear about the VFL and what advice would you give to newcomers in the league?

Blunkey: “play your game”

Q: For me the VFL has been appealing because I meet a lot of new people who have a common interest in madden. Has there been anyone you enjoy being around you met that you wouldn’t have without the VFL?

Blunkey: “Awesome VII was someone I met in the VFL. He was someone I talked to everyday regardless if we were playing madden or not. Unfortunately he passed away in a car accident. I never met him in person but that was my dog.

Q: What is your vision this season? Do you think you can compete with owners like ebok and tmo?

Blunkey: “Winning MVP, QBOTY are all awards I’ll aquire but the trophy is really what we have our eyes set on. Ebok and Tmo should have a good season but nothing my team won’t be able to handle

I would have liked to ask another question or two but blunkey refused to answer anymore Questions, I guess he must be busy getting dropped in a toilet somewhere, anyway, best of luck to blunkey and his team in the upcoming season

The Unhinged Users Team Analysis – Can Luckyy make another run?

Luckyy’s Unhinged Users are the second team to complete and we’re breaking down the players on his roster. This is a solid team, with some great users, that should be relevant into the postseason. The consistency of the QBs is the main concern, but there’s a ton of upside with Luckyy and Lurker. We’ve compiled the relevant Madden 24 stats for every player and @Hucci has provided some analysis for us!

  • Team Name: Unhinged Users

  • Owner: @CG Luckyy / CG Luckyy – (23-24)

Passing: 480-746, 64% Completion, 66 TDs, 63 INTs

Defense: 67 TFLs, 14.5 Sacks, 60 INTs, 51 PDEF, 4 FF, 14 DTDs, 1 KRTD

Hucci’s Analysis – Statistically Lucky is middle of the pack at QB. From my perspective though I think Lucky has the fastest read through progressions time in this league. Lucky may struggle here and there but he is always a hell game.

  • GM: P1: @CG LU12KER / CG Lu12ker – (23-15)

Passing: 246-387, 4528 PYards, 29 TDs, 39 INTs

Defense: 40 TFLs, 8 Sacks, 24 INTs, 14 PDEFs, 1 FF, 5 DTDs

Hucci’s Analysis – This guy is a game manager. Pounding the rock and keeping the defense in the box is the gameplan. He’s not gonna dot you up but Camaro is a tough go because of his ability to keep the ball and clock moving.

  • P2: @The Brisket / The Brisket49 – (15-19)

Receiving: 225 Rec, 4,457 Yards, 19.8 YPC, 28 TDs, 564 RAC

Defense: 18 TFLs, 13 INT, 6 PDEF, 5 DTDs

Hucci’s Analysis – Brisket is a solid DC and a serviceable wideout. If he’s rocking the 3-3-5 wide still he might be hell because it is very powerful this Madden.

  • P3: @The Accountant (CPA) / The Accountant 28-17

Rushing: 291 Attempts, 1867 Yards, 6.4 YPC, 16 TDs

Receiving: 48 Receptions, 785 Yards, 16.4 YPC, 3 TDs, 303 RAC

Defense: 197 TFLs, 50 Sacks, 2 INTs, 1 PDEF, 1 FF

Hucci’s Analysis- Hands down one of the best DL users in this league or at least he was    in 23. With how easy the pass rushing is this year I look for Accountant to be a force

again.

  • P4: @CG A1phas / CG A1phas – (9-21)

Rushing: 116 Attempts, 491 Yards, 4.2 YPC, 2 TDs

Receiving99 Receptions, 1508 Yards, 15.2 YPC, 10 TDs, 110 RAC

Hucci’s Analysis – I haven’t seen alot of game film on Red Hour/Alphas (no disrespect). He has played with some pretty good players before so I assume they must see talent there or he wouldn’t be on the squad.

  • P5: @All Time Rushing Leader / Woohdy (30-13)

Rushing: 600 Attempts, 5516 Yards, 9.2 YPC, 2 TDs, 4 FUM

Receiving: 70 Receptions, 834 Yards, 11.9 YPC, 10 TDs, 462 RAC

Defense: 54 TFLs, 15.5 Sacks, 36 INTs, 41 PDEF, 13 DTDs

Hucci’s Analysis – I’ve been saying this since my season with the Chiefs, Woohdy is the best back in this league. Long before he lit up the stat column I knew he had great stick. This game being is a run heavy game and will highlight his skills. His attitude has been his only negative. Otherwise Woohdy is a phenomenal player.

  • P6:sub: @GrandpaWarpath / FTK Warpath (4-9)

Passing: 73-154, 47% Completion, 7 TDs, 25 INTs

Defense: 9 TFLs, 3 INTs, 2 PDEFs, 1 FF

Hucci’s Analysis – Warpath has always been one of the chillest people in this league. I have known him way before this league and he has always been a good teammate. When I hopped to PS4 he was a great ambassador for their community and welcomed me. I am appreciative of that and can’t wait to watch him play again.

  • P7:sub: @CriticalTelos💍💍 / Critical Telos (24-18)

Rushing: 423 Attempts, 2897 Yards, 6.8 YPC, 35 TDs, 1 FUM

Receiving: 63 Receptions, 922 Yards, 14.6 YPC 5 TDs, 385 RAC

Defense: 93 TFLs, 35.5 Sacks, 30 INTs, 19 PDEF, 1 Safety, 9 DTDs, 1 KRTD

Hucci’s Analysis – Telos has always been a solid RB. Winning a few awards at the position. Just like I said with Woohdy, I expect Telos to put up solid numbers because running the ball is very powerful this year.

Beachmode Owner Interview

Beachmode has been in the league for a few seasons now, he always brings a lighthearted attitude to chat and he always brings a line to play.  I personally hope we get more people like beachmode into the league. He rarely talks trash and shows up to his games to play!

Q: You’ve been an owner in the past and I can say watching how much you progressed as a player from first season of madden 23 to the last was astounding! What’s your strategy being an owner this upcoming season?

A: “My main strategy is to build a team with chemistry and with users that are very active. I’m not one to take FFs so I want to make sure that streak continues”

Q: Being on your team one season I know you like to play to have fun, do you think some of that goes away and it becomes more competitive now that money is involved?

A: “Being competitive is fun. I just don’t like egos. I like the money aspect because it makes owners take the league seriously and now that they can bring their own teams all the excuses get thrown out the window. Money down makes for more activity because of the incentives.”

Q:  For me the VFL has been appealing because I meet a lot of new people who have a common interest in madden. Has there been anyone you enjoy being around you met that you wouldn’t have without the VFL?

A: “There has been a lot of people I have definitely met in my time with the VFL. Lucky was the first owner to give me a starting role in the VFL and I thank him a lot for that opportunity and introducing me to users like Jacc, redhour & midnight who are always chill dudes to play with. I am fairly active in the CFM community so it was really cool to broaden the connections within the madden community.”

Q:  I see your team is pretty full already at the time of this interview, do all of your guys share a common goal of no egos and being competitive?

A: “I believe my team is definitely full of similar minded users. We want to win, but ultimately we want to be better every game. This team will always be there to run scrims and improve their craft with one another. I think the users on this roster will make each other better. This will be the first season I really have a GM with experience that will be there to help every step of the way and I can’t tell you how good that finally feels.”

Q: 5. How did you hear about the VFL and what advice would you give to newcomers in the league?

A: “I have been in leagues with Brownies, HuskyNuts, DirtyFalcon, Scalymangish for years and that group pulled me in. I would say for any newcomers is just go do your thing and be open to criticism. The community wants you to succeed even when the chat doesn’t always seem it.”

Q: How would you describe yourself to people who read this that do not know you well?#datingquestions

A: “I am very competitive, but also a very chill guy. I don’t quit no matter how bad things seem.”

Thank you Beach for your time and great responses! Best of luck to your team this upcoming season!

Ebok’s Owner Interview

Ebok was a dominant force last madden winning 3 of the four super bowls he really earned the right to be called the best player in the league. Possibly one of the better trolls in the discord and all around guru. He’s dabbled some in posting content for the league without a question I can see this man making it into the hall of fame. I caught up with ebok to pick his brain some and tried my best to not get trolled. Here’s how that went.

Q: You were the first owner to finish his team and at the time of this interview the only one. Do you think having your guys selected this early on gives you an advantage to other owners? Why or why not?

A: “I’ve been interested in teaming up with Farah & Champ since szn 4 of the VFL. So when champ told me he was locked in this madden I knew it was time to finally team up. Champ & Farah have been top end users for 2 maddens so I didn’t have to wait for the game to drop to lock in the roster.”

Q:  How many seasons have you been in the league and how did you hear about it?

A: “I joined the VFL szn 3 after Kuhrow & Breesuss begged me  to buy an xbox. So I’ve been in the league for 7 seasons.”

Q: You’re probably considered the best player in the league by a vast majority of people, do you just have a high football IQ or do you lab madden a lot?

A: “If you play sports games you don’t need a high iq in said sport. Just find what works & roll with it. You do need a decent amount of sport iq tho. Gabe has a high football iq & is an absolute shitter so…”

Q: What advice (if any) would you give to newer people coming into the league wanting to dominate the way you have?

A: “If you’re a DC you could spend 5 mins finding the best blitz on youtube & use it in game. Then you can sit in practice mode for another 5-10 mins learning how to quick adjust. If you’re a QB just look up the top playbooks on madden & pick one. You don’t have to spend a lot of time to learn the game. If you’re a person who doesn’t have much time you could load up practice mode for 15 mins a day or every other day & learn the game when you can.”

Q: You were an owner multiple seasons last madden, seeing the changes the league is taking what do you like and/ or dislike about the direction and why?

A: “I love the old VFL style of drafting a roster of players & trying to win but I understand people have been running the league for free for years & have dealt with nothing but headaches. I do think with the addition of cross play the “old” VFL would’ve improved but the “new” VFL has a much higher ceiling to bring in more players meaning there should be an increase to more competition. I’m cool with the direction the league is going but i would like to see the “old” VFL make a return one day.”

Q: For me the VFL has been appealing because I meet a lot of new people who have a common interest in madden. Has there been anyone you enjoy being around you met that you wouldn’t have without the VFL?

A:  “Hmmmm… i actually really enjoyed teaching Aceboogs chinese last season but theres only 1 person i dont like in the league & thats Gabe. Guy is just a random shitter that has won 0 awards in 9 seasons. It’s actually embarrassing when you think about it. Gabe wishes he could be the PB to my jelly…He aint no Breesuss!”

Best of luck to ebok and his team this season! Hopefully the high ball is actually needed this time so we don’t see 3 more ebok rings!

CG Lucky’s Owner Interview

Lucky has been an owner in the league now for quite a few seasons, he was blacklisted a few seasons ago that turned into quite the phenomenon in the discord that lead to an entire chat wipe. He is also the self proclaimed top 5 QB in the league and his numbers do prove that and no matter how rough of a season he is having he always seems to come up but in crunch time. The owner of “unhinged users” CG lucky ladies and gents:

Q: what made you want to return as an owner

A: “Honestly, me and the boys has some unfinished business. Me, Jacc, redhour, and brisket are 0-2 in SBs together but we are here to make a run at Ebok and win our first one together.”

Q:  You’re always getting some type of hate for all the roster transactions you do each season, with the limited roster space this season and now a charge for transactions, do you see yourself repeating this trend?

A: “Honestly, I’m just the Jake Paul of the league and im cool with that. But no im loving my roster and plan on running this season with the team I have.”

Q:  Being an owner in the league and seeing all of the changes going on what are some things you like and dislike about the direction of the league?

A: “I like everything they have done but the whole using different teams. I’m not a fan of that, I understand why they have to do it because to make it even. But I’m not a fan of it.”

Q:  How did you find out about the league and what has kept you around for this long?

First owner of the New VFL ” Fig “

Interview by Deputy Commish  ” Realest 260 ”

Today I decided to interview the first person to commit to being a owner in the new version of the VFL Fig. While Fig might be new to ownership he isn’t a new face in the community. Fig has been around for 10 plus year so it was only fitting a 10 year vet was the first to commit to being a owner.

Below I have some short questions and answers for Figgy Newton interview, hope you enjoy!

  1. With the new structure what made you decide to be the first person to commit to ownership?

” Honestly I did not know I was the first person committing to ownership lol. What prompted me to become an owner was that I’d prefer to have control of my team and give it my best shot because I’ll make all the calls and if that means win or lose then those decisions all fall on me. I want to be able to be a part of a team that’s united then ending up on a team that was bunched together because people were looking for pieces at the last minute. That doesn’t create a strong locker room, the locker room is huge and the packers season can attest to that. We had a good vibe the entire season even while we were doubted. That locker room was the twelfth man for us. With the new structure you get to bring your own guys and I’m not 100% sure who will be on my team but I know that I have the opportunity to bring in guys who want to be here and have guys that will show up and give it their all without pointing fingers if they take losses. I just want to build a good team and that starts with the foundation which I will be in charge of creating. “

  1. Seeing that the main thing your looking to do is build a roster of your liking , Are you look to bring players currently in the VFL or some new faces?

” It really depends, I know a lot of people from CFM who are dogs but I don’t know if it translates to 3v3. I’ll have to run some games and see how they run but I already have 3 guys that are VFL vets joining my team. VFL Vets bring back that nostalgia of the old seasons so we’ll have that to look forward to. “

    3. In this first season of Madden 24 what will you be looking to accomplish as an owner?

” Shittt, at least the playoffs. The beginning of madden there aren’t many Meta plays, maybe some glitchy stuff but overall it’s just pure talent when you start off the season so I’m looking forward to playing against guys that haven’t had a chance to lab up the bullshit. “

  4. What will set you apart from the other owners we bring on board?

” Probably my experience and knowledge of madden but honestly a lot of these owners are solid and have proven themselves over and over again so I’ll just be glad to be in good company lol “

  5. Being a VFL vet what’s one thing you would say to new owners/players?

” Make sure you have a solid locker room, people who like to play with one another and have chemistry, don’t force it. For new players in the league, this league is one of the best because it’s been around for so long and you have people who love it because of the community it creates and brings out that extra competitiveness in all of us. It’s a great league, some things I don’t personally agree with because they look suspect but overall you’re not going to find a more organized league so just enjoy it. “
