VFL power rankings through three weeks

Our own Mrr Oh1o put together a panel of people from each team in the league. He had them rank each team on a 1-10 scale with 1 being the worst and 10 being the best to come up with these rankings. Below is the result of those rankings. The members were 7 owners and 3 team reps.

Things to Watch for in the Last Week

WOW, we are finally entering the final week of the regular season. Talk about a lot of change going on in the league and on these teams! In the AFC the Bengals are the one of two teams that have clinched a spot going in to the final week, they do still need to win a couple games to secure the number one seed. They have a big game on Monday night versus the Raiders that could benefit OR hurt them by the end of the week. With their owner retiring their team is still picking up the pieces, so anything could happen! The Raiders are currently sitting comfortably in the second spot and have a decent gap between them and the Colts. Not only do they have a big game against the Bengals, they also have one on Sunday night vs. the Colts who are trailing them in the division. The Colts and Steelers are separated by 2 games for the 3rd and 4th seed. The Colts and Steelers may decide those seeds Monday night at 9. The Patriots aren't dead yet, BUT, they have a big hill to climb. They need to start winning some games while hoping the Steelers finally turn into what everyone thought they would be this season. EVERY game is a big one for them this week.

In the NFC we have one team that has clinched playoffs going into the final week in the Football Team. They have a decent lead on the Saints and will face off Sunday night with them to possibly clinch the one seed! The Saints are in a pretty comfortable spot holding the 2nd spot, they need to win a couple games to secure it BUT are guaranteed a playoff spot no matter what happens with 4 wins this week. The Dolphins, Eagles, and Falcons are separated between 2 games. We should see a lot of movement (and excitement) in this race to the finish. They all play each other at least once this week but every game is huge for them! Not only do we have a great last week filled with meaningful games, we will get to see the battle for MVP finish up too. Right now it's between NORTHZIDE and Beaste! Let's have a great last week!

Gabe iLy VBA Season 1 Awards Race (MVP)

With season 1 for the new and improved VBA well underway, I thought now would be the perfect time to talk about something that makes the VBA so great and a big reason why we all play (aside from winning the chip of course) and that is the recognition that comes with winning awards and being considered the best or 1 of the best in the league at your position!! With that being said I am going to take a look across the league and talk about who I think is in play to win the following awards MVP, DPOY, COTY, PG, SG, SF, PF and C of the year (based on win/loss, stats, and my own personal opinion of their performance this season). I will be rolling out the these articles in a series so I can go more in depth with my analysis and give these guys the credit they deserve. We are going to start off with a bang and go right into MVP!!

MVP

1. Citrs

Record 5-1

1-1 Vs Cleveland Cash (Grizz)

2-0 Vs Zhajesus (Bucks)

Citrs is the close frontrunner to take home MVP at the moment. He was picked up as a free agent by Drock and has dominated ever since, boasting an impressive 5-1 record with multiple wins vs other MVP candidates such as Cleveland Cash and Zhajesus. He doesn't seem to be slowing down any time soon as he is currently averaging an eye popping 38.5 PPG and 8 APG and from the looks of it, might be the favorite to win the championship as well considering how good his line is playing right now. I look forward to seeing how Citrs closes this season out and if he can take his game to another level come playoff time.

2. Userpick

1-0 Vs Shaun/Woohdy (Clips)

Userpick, the former 2kL Pro has come back to his VBA roots to pair up with the old gang of John, Haden and King to form quite the formidable line this season. Pick has been the orchestrator of the only undefeated line in the VBA currently with a record of 9-0 (his line did lose 1 game without him) and boasts decent wins over players like Kuhrow, Bodega, Shaun and Woohdy. While the strength of schedule and stats might not be the most eye popping, once you consider that this man is 9-0 and putting up 22 and 18 with LANDRY SHAMET (LOL!) it starts to really make his season so far very impressive and certainly up there with Citrs for MVP.

3. Cleveland Cash

Record 7-2

1-1 Vs Citrs (76ers)

Cleveland Cash is another longtime vet from the previous leagues that always had a knack for scoring, and that seems to still be the case now if not more so. Cash has been 1 of the most exciting players to watch this season (partly cuz Ja is a god) due to his extremely aggressive style of play and unwillingness to let anyone stop him from scoring and trying to win the game. He might have the most impressive strength of schedule all things considered. Despite losing 2 of his match ups, he boasts very legit wins over fellow MVP candidates Fab, Citrs and Mizz. Look for Cash to continue putting up numbers in bunches as he closes out the season and begins his run for a championship.

4. Fab

Record 5-4

1-0 Vs Shaun (Warriors)

  • 15 RPG
  • 11 APG
  • 4 STL
  • 2 BLK

Fab, another longtime Vet and Former 2KL Star, signed back up with the VBA this season to have some fun and add another ring to his collection. While it has not been the smoothest of seasons thus far from getting stuck with the Heat for uhhhh reasons (Farah plz), to having a plethora of roster inactivity resulting in the Heat becoming a home for every ECU in the league. There has been one consistent through all of the bullshit and that is how effective Fab has been on the court. He has played a very strong schedule vs some of the top teams in the league (warriors 2x, Nets 2x and Grizz) and while he hasn't always come out on top, it hasn't been without trying, as he is the only player in the league currently averaging a triple double and he is doing it with Bam lol.

5. King Mizzark

Record 5-4

2-0 Vs Switzo (76ers)

1-1 Vs Zhajesus (Bucks)

1-0 Vs Bodega (Nets)

King Mizzark, Mr 2k Godz himself has come home to where it all started and has brought with him a ton of attention and expectations. As an owner he has done an impressive job acquiring talent and has put together a very impressive roster (dam near a 2k godz roster) of former pros (Bron) and comp team up vets (Pookie, Gee, Ebok and Cha1rz)... While Mizz has done a great job as owner, we are talking MVP right now, and to no ones surprise, Mizz is right up there to take home MVP. He has very impressive stats (yes it is Curry but 35 and 16 is still nice AF) and has played a mostly comp schedule with a mixed bag of results. Has impressive wins over Switzo twice (one was also vs Kurrupted who is 1 of the best players in the league imo), Split with Zhajesus and won his only game vs the extremely aids Nets and their star player Bodega. Mizz has all the tools to win MVP and potentially the championship, just a matter of hitting his shots and not turning the ball over. Look for Mizz and the Dubs to find their footing and be a force in the playoffs!

That's it for my MVP Race.. Shout out to all the incredible performances so far this season and MVP should come down to the wire as any of these 5 players I mentioned could pull ahead with 1 amazing week! Let me know what you guys think and who y'all feel is the MVP so far!

Exclusive Interview with x KING J0N x

Question 1: Can you elaborate on the rumour about you requesting a trade from the Suns?

Answer: The suns are full of friends but they have ass tendencies on the court. Its like playing with JR Smith. You dont know which skill is showing up. Its a love hate relationship. Our original plan was for me to play guard this season and have fun.  With pick signing up last minute, the game plan was to try hard with him. I know its a free league but when a defense is atrocious, i will spazz even if they are my friends. I don’t mind losing. But everyone who knows me knows I love defense. I love rotations. I love swinging. I love communication. We have potential to flood every line and every team in this league. No bullshit. I personally think everyone is ass and the way we built, noone should beat us in a series. Its when we dont play to that potential, that bothers the fuck outta me. The rumors began after the 76ers game. We lost by 30. We forgot how to play the game. We played like we were the celtics users. That’s unacceptable. We only lost 2 games and its not that serious but games like the 76ers game builds bad habits. So me spazzing about the defense lead to those rumors. We’ll get right though. It doesnt help that everything i say in general chat is a troll.

Question 2: You currently average 19.9 RPG, second in the league in total rebounds too. Which users in the league do you get excited to play against aka the shitters at Center?

Answer: Im licking my lips against the celtics (either line) and clippers (redhours line). I can play them with half a bottle of tequila down and still probably get 30 rebounds. I also think both Anthony Davis users are free pussy. Ill just play them sober

Question 3: After the sixers game, Saver posted a screenshot in the General Chat of him dropping 50 & 20 on you. He also said “DID I KILL THE SUNS DYNASTY”. What do you have to say to that? Do you think that game was a fluke and that they’re overhyping themselves, or do you think they really like that?

Answer: I dont think it was a fluke or that they’re over hyping them selves. Compared to average league skill, they’re good. They deserved that win. We played like complete shit and forgot how to play the game. If we play to our full potential, i dont think they’re touching us in a series tbh. I personally dont see anything special. They are good though. Its just up to us to show up every game

Question 4: In your honest opinion, rate the top 5 users in the league

Answer: Without dickriding, I dont think theres a top 5. I think theres 4 tiers in the league. Fab and Pick are in the first. They are the complete players. The second are players like mizzark/bron/gabe/saver/swizz/ruthless/king/etc who are really freaking good players and can carry lines but have weaknesses. The third are the average VBA players who arent special but do their job like myself. And the 4th are the shitters

Question 5: Are the suns keeping you in prison? If yes, where are your top destinations if you were let go?

Answer: They are definitely keeping me in prison. The owner trolls the fuck outta me. He is only good if hes high. If hes sober, he might be the worst shooter in the history of 2k

If i had a choice, id play with the warriors with gee/bron/mizzy/ebok. Or Heat with Gabe/Fab/Kuhrow. Other than that, nothing else interests me

After the 76ers dropped 50 on me, fuck them and their whole roster on some 50 Cent shit

Question 6: The lakers took away youngshot from AD and put him as Melo on a line with Fear x Painkiller as AD… What do you think about the lakers management making that move, resulting in a trade request rumour from Youngshot?

Answer:I think its a selfish decision by their owner/gm. I think youngshot is the best player on that team defensively. Thats not what melo provides. If they wanna stack a line, put shady or fear on lebron, fear/shady on westbrook, youngshot on AD, smoove and shig to round it out. Putting Youngshot on a role player is wasting his talent and the teams chances to win. Anything outside of that is low iq

Answer: If you need to learn how to shoot, dont go to goodfella jokers camp. I don’t care about your time but thank you for the interview

VBA Transactions Update 

Call Ups And Send Downs 

  • Celtics completely revamp their roster under new owner LJ53

LJ brought up Mantis and Jersey Illest as his first moves  , two people he has a history with . I believe he’s getting people that will play their games and allow them to finish the season but don’t expect any crazy changes in Boston when it comes to winning games . 

  • Miami has been very active, dropping both bud and bama to IR 

Both were temporary changes , I don’t expect the roster to change much from here to playoffs . 

  • Nets pick up Ayo Tunechi and drop Cleveland4ever1

Pretty sure both of these guys have played for the nets throughout the season , with Ayo definitely being a more consistent player I could see this change being permanent

TRADES

The Golden State Warriors send Big Wadeo to Memphis for Ebok. 

  • Probably one of the best trades I’ve seen this season , with ebok getting to play with his parents and knowing he can produce on draymond or at center and with big wadeo instantly producing on Desmond bane for the grizzlies , both teams gained from this trade . 

Earlier in the week Miami Heat sent whoody to the grizzlies for IseecapBoy

  • Memphis wins this trade , with whoody being a solid player 1-5 and obviously knowing how to play with Steven adams he jumped right into a big role for Memphis , Iseecap on the other hand hasn’t really proved much , and has tended to be unreliable. Will the heat be able to get cap to reach his full potential? TBD

Interview with Luckyy Dabs

Im here with Saints owner Luckyy Dabs. This is his second season as a owner and I have a few questions for him. Most of his answers were short and simple

Question 1 - Now that week 3 is in the books how are you feeling about your team?

Answer

Honestly man I am feeling great!I knew my team had it in them to be a top 5 team but we have proven we are a top 3 team.

Question 2- Well since you feel your a top 3 team what team do you feeling is the biggest competition to yours?

Answer

To me personally Is WFT in our division. Bengals would be the other competition in my opinion. But I’m just worrying about getting pass the first round and whoever else.

Question 3 - Why did you choose to max bid Ponchy knowing he would be going on vacation and wouldn't be able to finish the season?

Answer

I knew Ponchy as a QB stand point could win games. He’s an amazing player and a great teammate but we got it from here.

Question 4 - 2 part question here , what team do you think is the underachieving and what team do you feel is overachieving this season?

Answer

Honestly I think underachieving is Pats. I mean the player draft wasn’t bad at all, it’s just the team they took. I think Fear let his emotions pick that team.

I think overachieving is Steelers. Honestly my man BeachMode is back packing the hell out of that team. But my question how long can he? Awesome was doing great in MIA but I don’t think he done so hot this week and Sir starting out great and I think he has also fallen off some. So come playoffs can beachmode carry the Steelers? I think he can to a degree but if he don’t get help they won’t make it far

Question 5 - what are 3 things in your opinion the league should change for Madden 23?

Answer

  1. I say letting GMs able to step down without blacklisted. Why hold them to that? Coaches in real life gets fire or leaves teams and has a job the next day. So why not allow GMs to step down or be fired?
  2. I think allowing Owners to take a player or even 2 with them to the next season to be on their team would be dope. Just take some picks away or something?
  3. I think posting on pages and getting people to join just to do media would be a good idea. It’s hard for the players to also do media with work, real life stuff and then trying to play games and so on.

Question 6 - Including yourself if you could assemble a VFL dream team who would the other 8 players be?

Answer

Honestly I got it already. Jacc and brisket is both top 3 in WRs and me and ponchy top 5 QBs. My whole team has been killing it. So it goes to everyone not just those players. I mean stats wise this team been killing it this season.

VBA Week 2 Owner Interviews

Now that week 2 has finished, there seems to be a good understanding so far of how playoffs will look like. For this week’s owner to interview from the West, I had Warriors owner King Mizzark answer a few questions.

Question 1: Your team is currently 5-7 and tied for 7th. Going forward, what do you guys need to do differently to win more games?

Answer: No more ECUs. Especially at C for the Warriors we are already at a disadvantage and having to play with different lineups every game/week hurt chemistry.

Question 2: It’s obvious that people hold you to a high standard in the league. Judging by your team record, do you have anything to say to people who would think you’re an easy win now?

Answer: I haven't really played this 2k and my team will be ready & scary by playoff time. This 2k is braindead and its not hard to abuse the paint and beat the warriors. I've yet to see 1 of these ballhandlers dribble and shoot a 3 behind a screen so lets see next season who gets the warriors and how they do.

Question 3: Which team from each conference do you believe is your most comp and why?

Answer: Suns, good players and a good record. Nets, terrible matchup for Warriors

Question 4: If you can build a ‘dream team’ lineup in each position with any player in this league, who would you pick and why?

Answer: Without listing anyone on the warriors on my "dream team" so with that said....

Answer: We had some controversy we had to go thru in the beginning of the season so I think our record doesn’t really show how good we could be but we just gotta keep fighting taking it game by game and we are feeling good with getting our first 2 Ws this week

Question 2: Do you have anything to say to people who think you’re an easy game in their schedules?

Answer: That’s what we want teams to think so they take us lightly and end up losing just like the bucks and lakers did this past week

Answer: For this week I think we’ll go over 500 and I think we could beat any team we play

WEEK 2 POWER RANKINGS

VBA POWER RANKINGS

WESTERN CONFERENCE:
1. Phoenix Suns (11-1)  
As previously predicted, the team is dominating the league midway through the season and it is not even fairly close; they went 6-0 Week 2. They are all locked in and hope to continue such success this week. In terms of shine, Ruthless is third in the league in PPG with 32.8 (using Mikal). King Jon is top 10 in FG percentage, rebounds, steals, and blocks. Revolves SZN and HollyBlackwood is top 10 in three point percentage. MrxxUSERxxPICK is leading the league in assists with Shamet (18 APG). Primo Re is top 5 in assists as well. Kelz is top 10 in rebounding and field goal. In short, everyone is going crazy. Every game they played this week was a blowout. They are clearly the league favorite for winning the championship. However, their regular season success is getting to their heads. They will most likely fall off this upcoming week. They haven't played a single game outside of season games and doing so, will bite them. The tensions are high within the lockerroom. They may have a horrendous week. The highlight game will be against the 76ers who have found their calling. With an extremely tough schedule this week, we will see if the talent on this team will rise to the occasion.

2. Memphis Grizzlies (7-5)

Originally being ranked number three after Week 1, they were able to elevate their game and have a better week. Cleveland Cash and his line went 2-1. Their undefeated streak was broken by the 76ers. However, they had great games against the Clippers and Lakers. However, it is their second line that struggled for a second week in a row. They were demolished by the Phoenix Suns, and lost against the Bucks. The second line went 1-2. With the week ending, they made some acquisitions. They picked up iSeeCapBoy for the week who averages 29 PPG. However, he is getting tossed around from team to team. They traded him to the Heat for Woohdy. Evidently, that is not their biggest move. They traded a key piece in Post Kobe (who is leading the league in rebounds. One may say is a huge reason for the first line being 5-1) for BigWadeO. I think they will progressively get worse as a team and may fall down to third in the west. There was drama brewing within the organization and it exploded. There were multiple players who wanted out, arguments in general chat, and no smooth communication between management and players. With the team morale and team chemistry at an all time low, I see this team being worse:

"Bro IDC no more, I messed my line up. It is what it is. I'm just balling shooting my shots. My goal for the season is MVP. That would feel like a title. F the team morale"

3. Golden State Warriors (5-7) 

This team was originally 4th in the West after the first week. Although they went 2 and 4 this week, they still have a better seeding because the Lakers forgot how to play 2K and had a horrible week. King Mizzark demolished the 76ers, and Lakers by 30. However, that was their only wins this week. They lost their other games which means that their second line went 0-3. Shaun needs to shoot more consistently with Curry. They are also not getting the same production from their role players as they did before all the trades happened. However, they traded BigWadeO for Post Kobe which is an upgrade. Post Kobe knows how to shoot with Draymond and Looney. He fits the system that Mizzark runs and I expect them to trade places with the Grizzlies in terms of seeding after the third week is over. With Mizzark being top 10 in PPG and APG, Shaun being top 10 in PPG, and Bron being top 10 in SPG, they have a chance to make a run. Their sole solution is for Post Kobe to ball out and for Wiseman to return before this season ends.

4. Los Angeles Lakers (5-7)

From starting the Week 4-2, they managed to mess it up and go 1 and 5. In the previous power rankings, I mentioned that it might've been a fluke. Unfortunately, for them, I was right. They had a tough schedule in having to play the Warriors, Suns, Grizzlies, and Nets who are considered the better teams in this league. However, they also lost to the Celtics and it wasn't even close. With the trade deadline approaching this week, I think they need to make some moves or else they will not be competing this season. Whether that means trading a bunch of people or stacking a line of their best users to give them a fighting chance; hypothetically you only need one really good line to win. The only game they won this week was against the Clippers and they used Blunkey. Technically, that does not count. However, there are some bright spots. Von is top 5 in 3 point percentage, Shady is top 10 in assists, Fear is 10th in Rebounds, and Von leads the league in Blocks. If I were them, I would make a line of Smoove, Shady, Shig, Fear, and Von. Let the second line die and hopefully they will pull out a win or two against the bad teams/bad lines. However, as things are currently, I have them at the bottom of the West.

5. Los Angeles Clippers (4-9)

With all things considered, Redhour is doing his best to maintain a sinking ship. It has been an unfortunate season for him to not only have his GM quit on him, but also one of his better players blacklisted and banned. However, there is a bright spot with his first line. The KING clan has brought a spark and new hope. They managed to beat the warriors and are looking pretty good; maybe it was the Heat that didnt fit to their playstyle. Unfortunately, I do not see their second line winning a game. This team will literally lay on the shoulders of Farah and his line. With one solid line, that is all they need in order to compete. I think this team will stay at the bottom of the West unfortunately but I think there is a small shimmer of hope. It is very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very small, However, I think Farah and them can make some things work come playoff time with the play in game.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

1. Philadelphia 76ers (8-4)

This team is a completely different one from draft night and are on a rampage; they went 5-1 this week. The only team that beat them was the Warriors. Citrs is looking like a frontrunner for MVP with the midway point of the season coming to a close. My man is leading the league in points with 38.5 ppg, beat Cleveland Cash line, and is Top 10 in assists. They are an extremely dangerous team and I feel like they are the best team in the Eastern Conference; arguably the entire league. In terms of other notable players, they have Saver being top 10 in rebounds, and Kurupted leading the league in SPG. In terms of talent, their main line is in good shape. The question on this team is whether or not Switzo can hard carry the second line and pull out some wins. They were fortunate to get two forfeit wins against the Nets and the Celtics. However, I am not sure if that fortune will last forever. The role players are going to have to do their part in order to secure some wins. With the trade deadline approaching, I do not think they should make any more moves. They have the talent to go all the way. It is whether or not they can put it all together.

2. Brooklyn Nets (7-5)

In terms of users, they know what they are doing. They were originally 4-2 and went 3-3 this week. They lost to the Bucks, Clippers, and a forfeit loss to the 76ers. They can have the worst week possible as user skill but I do not think they will fall below 3. The Nets are too good of a team and the users on this team know how to take advantage of it. NWO Bodega ED is top 10 in assists, and steals. DODADAMNTHING being top 10 in rebounds with Drummond. They will continue to do their best and dominate. With the midpoint closing, I think they are the dark horse for the championship. Between the team and skill, they may provide upsets against other favorites.

3. Milwaukee Bucks (6-6)

This team is quite possibly the most interesting dynamic within the league. They have the best team on the game, have good users, but can't pull away from a .500 week. I am completely unsure what the issue is but there needs to be some kind of change. However, there was one game I would love to highlight. Zhajesus having the first quadruple double for the very first season of VBA. He had 24 PTS, 27 RBS, 13 AST, 10 STLS, 5 BLKS. From that dominate performance, they blew out the Heat by 60. Lord Relax had a silent but efficient 35 points that game as well as Woozy having a great game. As a team, they beat the Heat, Nets, and Grizzlies. Unfortunately, they got blown out by the Suns, lost to the Celtics, and threw the 76ers game. Lord Relax could have won them the 76ers game but maybe the lights were too bright under regular season. Evidently, the team is in good hands. Aeata22 is top 10 in PPG, blocks, and rebounds. ZhaJesus is top 10 in FG% AND assists AND rebounds AND steals AND blocks. Woozy and DBlock are top 10 in 3PT%. With the team having success statistically, I'm just surprised it doesn't coincide with a winning record. Hopefully they will figure out something for the third week and go absolutely wild. They do have a chance to win it all. However, its going to take something to click for them to get there.

4. Miami Heat (5-7)

As a team, they have been disappointing. I had high hopes for a roster that consisted of good users. By trading the entire line of the King Clan, I was expecting them to make some type of noise with a new locker room, and new teammates. However, that is not the case. Their second line may be worse than the original line that they started with. They are trying to see what fits best and who should be on who. These types of experiments and trusting LJ on Jimmy Butler led them to a miserable week. They almost lost by 80 and got a quadruple double dropped on their head. I believe they should make some moves with the deadline approaching. Whether that means they look to make some trades or look to pick people up such as Young ISO, Tunechi, or Big Dex. In terms of the first line, their only loss was to the Nets. With Fab bringing the ball up and running the offense with Bam, many teams may not know how to defend it. In order for this team to succeed, they have to change their second line drastically. They received iSeeCapBoy who is pretty good and hopefully he can help that record. Gabe is top 10 in FG% and steals, Kuhrow and Traynor are top 10 in 3PT%. Fab is top 10 in APG. They have the skill to do it all. Unfortunately, it isn't clicking. On the bright side, Traynor is looking like SG of the year lol.

5. Boston Celtics (2-10)

This week has been a bit better. Instead of going 0-6, they were able to go 2 and 4 instead. There are 0 screenshots posted so I can not give a detailed analysis but I think their only two wins were against the Bucks and Lakers. They are really good users and are probably better than the majority of rosters user skill wise. However, the team is definitely holding them back and I do not see them competing against the rest. Hopefully, they can continously show up and compete to get better. Maybe they can figure out a way to beat the top teams like the 76ers, Suns, and Nets.

VBA Week 1 Owner Interviews

After finishing off week 1, I went and picked two different owners to interview ahead of the new week. To start off, the first interview on the west is the Suns owner, Goodfella Joker!

Question 1: After finishing the first week 5-1, how confident do you feel about your team going forward?

Answer: Very confident. I said in my owner interview that I could build a championship team and I feel like I did just that. Anything less then success would be disappointing 🤮

Question 2: Which teams do you think will give you the toughest time to play against?

Answer:The warriors and grizzlies 🙄 the warriors users and as a 2k team gonna be tough to beat. And grizzlies have a very tough line with cash and Eli going crazy 👀 plus the nets seem solid

Question 3: Which team in each conference do you think are the easiest to beat, aka the worst in your eyes, and why?

Answer: In the west Clippers.. I don’t even think that’s a question those users just ain’t it man stick to madden boys. In the east Celtics obv. Even when they showed up it wasn’t really a challenge and I don’t see the new Celtics being any better but at least they will show up.. right 😅

Question 4: You put together a line with your first 2 picks(Pick & Jon) together. Did you purposely stack a line, or should people not sleep on your line with Primo?

Answer: First off I don’t give af about stacking lines lol I honestly believe my team has the most complete 2 lines tbh even if others feel differently 🤷🏾‍♂️ Primo is like 3rd in assist and pretty high up in steals plus me and ruthless are like top 7 in scoring with kelz top 3 in rebounds and revolves seems to not miss with cam so teams can sleep if they want I’m chucking 🤷🏾‍♂️ Fuck Jon 🖕🏾

Question 1: You guys finished with a 3-3 record in week 1. Should we expect more wins this week?

Answer: Yes 100% expect more wins this week last week we were playing with lineups trying to see what works I feel like now we have the dialed in and ready to compete to our full potential

Question 2: You guys traded for and picked up players like switzo and citris for example. What made you do so, knowing that you lost your first pick Ebok and others like blksupersaiayn?

Answer: We felt like we didn’t draft good as we would have like so we worked hard in the market to make some moves when some talented player hit the block we got to work on the phone. As a owner the process of building a team doesn’t end after the draft. You continue to look to build in trades and free agency

Question 3: Do you believe you will get past the east and compete in the finals? If yes, how easy or difficult do you think your path will be?

Answer: I believe we have potential to go all the way and it won’t be easy. If it was easy it wouldn’t be fun and I wouldn’t be pushing my guys as hard as I am. I think we have the right team and right staff to bring a championship back to Philly. Our fans deserve it and this city deserve it as well

VBA WEEK 1 POWER RANKINGS

1. PHOENIX SUNS (5-1) 

The results of the Suns having the best record in the conference, as well as the entire league, should be a surprise to no one. They have two dominant point guards in MrxxUSERxxPICKx and Primo Re; both who have finished in the top five for assists. With both players dominating the league, they both finished 3-0 and the rumor has it that the team would've finished 6-0 if they didn't have to use an ECU. They also have the highest point differential in the league which means that none of their games have been particularly close. Despite the PGs, they have solid players all around. Ruthless is one of the top scorers in the league with Mikal Bridges. x KING JON x is leading the league in rebounds and Dat Boy Kelz is also up there statistically. This team has the user skill in both lines to continue dominating. The question is whether their diva tendencies will lead to trade requests or their downfall. The ego on this team is ridiculous and Jon is like Lisa Ann. If they can continue their high spirits, I see Week 2 ending very well.
2. Los Angeles Lakers (4-2) 
As much as I love to admit that this roster is poop and I love to troll them, they have surprised everyone within the league. I personally thought that they were going to be tied for the worst in the western conference with the Clippers. Unlike their Los Angeles counterparts, they are not a disaster. They beat teams like the Grizzlies, Suns, and Nets in order to achieve this record; teams with above average records. With Shady averaging a consistent triple double and Von absolutely demolishing his matchups, they have potential to make some noise. As for the other line, champ and Fear can hold their own as the stars. However, they have some surrounding role players like Taco and Shig who are doing the best they can with Melo. They have been shooting well and have been rotating decently too. As much as I like to hate them, their record speaks for themselves. The question is whether or not they can continue this hot streak for the second week. They play Suns, Grizzlies, and Warriors number one lines. Will their hopes be shattered and be brought back to reality? They have a tough week ahead but we will see if this record is a fluke or if they really are better than what we imagine. Keep proving everyone wrong!
3. Memphis Grizzlies (4-2)

Since preseason, I had this roster as the third best team in the Western Conference; as for now, I was correct. They have been solid. In terms of clevelands line, they ended the week 3-0. He has been having an MVP type of season so far with almost averaging a 40 and 20 week. If he can continue his idea of production, I hardly see his line losing. He is taking full advantage of how explosive Morant can be on this game; he is practically unguardable with a good user. In terms of notable wins, they won against the 76ers best line as well as the warriors best line. Post Kobe and Elijuw0n have been the highlight players from his line that make it even easier for him. Elijuw0n is averaging nearly 30 with a role player and Kobe is dominating the boards with Steven Adams. Their second line has been struggling. They had to played with Lord Artie who is one of the worst Ja Morants I have seen and I have seen myself play; THAT is saying something. With the addition of Im Da Truth (who is a huge upgrade from Artie), and trading for bennie beem, I think this team will have an amazing Week 2. Look for them to jump to second or first in the conference.; their most notable game would be the 76ers this week. 

4. Golden State Warriors (3-3) 
In terms of the Western Conference, they have had a disappointing Week 1. In my opinion, they have one of the best users in the league but unfortunately could not get it done. King Mizzark and Gee Money have not played 2K consistently enough for a long time so maybe the record has to be with the rustiness; as time goes on, I expect them to get better and better. Their number one line ended the week 1-2. They dominated the 76ers by nearly 30 points with King Mizzark and Bron having 40 points a piece. However, they could not get it done against the bucks or the grizzlies. In terms of their second line, they went 2-1. They beat the Heat with an ECU in Johnny Wheels and the clippers who are notoriously the worst team in the league. They have made some roster adjustments since then by adding Big WadeO, and Shaun. In my opinion, they upgraded their roster and I believe they will have a better record Week 2. 
5. Los Angeles Clippers (2-4) 
I originally projected this team to at least be fourth in the conference but I didn't think they could worse than that; I was dead wrong. They were some cheeks all around. Unfortunately, the GM of the team had some kind of public breakdown and left all together; leaving Redhour in a rock and a hard place. I do not think there were any highlight players from this team in terms of Week 1. Well, outside of Lucky who has been doing his best to average 30 with Kawhi. They had some potential with Traynor and Woohdy but ultimately, they couldn't reach it. I personally do not see this team competing with the other teams; however, Redhour should be applauded for attempting to try and make some moves despite his GM quitting on him. He ended up trying to trade for the entire Heats second line. I do not know if it was the heat or them, but they are also some cheeks; there was no upgrade (maybe even a downgrade by losing Traynor and Woohdy) but maybe the morale of the locker room will brighten up and lead to some wins. With the acquisition of Gaabage and Banks, maybe this team can pull out a couple wins next week and prove me wrong. 

1. Brooklyn Nets (4-2) 
Although not many people know who the Nets roster consists of user wise, I know they had potential to be at the top of the league. I predicted that they would end up number 2 but they surpassed my expectations and lead the conference with the best record and the highest point differential. Due to a lack of box scores posted, I can't give a detailed analysis but I know NWO Bodega ED and LA Chaos have been their best players this season. With both lines going 2-1, they proved that chemistry is everything. My predictions of this team before the season even started consisted of making fun of their offense. Unfortunately, four teams have fallen victim to their nonchalant motion and paintball offense. I will never understand how it works or why it even works, but it has led to them being at the top of the conference; look for them to continue this style and staying at the top. This team is very hard and annoying to guard. They came into the league with not many people knowing them but I have a feeling people will know them after this season.
2. Philadelphia 76ers (3-3) 
In terms of what I thought they would be in the preseason, I originally thought they would end up being 4th in the conference. However, they exceeded my expectations. DROCK had one of the worst drafts possible but traded for Switzo; he gave him the keys to the organization and got out the way. In doing so, he was able to recruit Citrs and Saver. With them three and Kurupted, they will do what they can to salvage this season and make a run for the championship. In terms of highlight players, both Switzo and Citrs have been averaging roughly 35 and 10 with James Harden. They have split the talent and let Switzo have his own line. The number one line with citrs, awesome, kurupted, tmo, and saver have potential to be one of the best lines in the league. However, it is up to the second line to hold their own. The question is whether Sonic, Stimothy, and DRock are able to hold their own as role players and not sell Switzo bag. In terms of players, they are momentum driven. If their team is doing good, they will excel. If their team has a bad week, expect them to break apart quickly with a lot of drama.
3. Milwaukee Bucks (3-3) 
They were originally predicted to be third in the east and I was right; despite having the same record as the 76ers, philly holds the tie breaker due to beating them when they played which puts them here. In terms of the team, they have potential. Giannis is the best player in the game and Zhajesus/Aeata22 have been having a tremendous season. They have been having explosive games like 25 and 25 or 32 and 12 or 37 and 19 or 28 and 20. However, that is also a worry. If the giannis is having games like that, the team should have a better record than .500. In terms of consistent players, they have Lord Relax, Woozy, and Kavious (one game) who have been doing their best in terms of the role they are in. In the games they lost, there was always a role player who shot bad. Therefore, I think their key for next week will be consistency. I have hope that such a star studded team on 2K will be able to compete in the East. The users have the skill, but it is up to them to put it all together. If their entire team can shoot consistently, it will be over for the opposition. It is note worthy that the games they lost, it was single digits; especially the grizzlies game when they ran away with it in the fourth quarter. I have trust that Stunna and the group will bring it all together for Week 2.
4. Miami Heat (2-4) 
Outside of the warriors in the west, this is one of the more disappointing results after the first week; their main line has been had promise to go undefeated with the star studded talent of Fab, Gabe, and Kuhrow. With Bama and Jaydubb as the role players, they were considered one of the best lines in the league. Unfortunately, that was not the case. They were beat by the Nets by almost 30. However, in the preseason, everyone said that the second line was a risk and we could not wait to see how they ended up. Unfortunately, the decision to get them bit Fab and Gabe in the butt because they were horrendously cheeks. With the big brain IQ, they were able to trade that entire line of assness for Sorci, Woohdy, Bud, Traynor and LJ. Bud and LJ are not the greatest players but they do well with their counterparts; Bud excels with Kuhrow by his side and LJ excels with Traynor by his side. Evidently, I think they have gotten exponentially better through the trades. I predict they will have a dominate second week. Fab has made a return to Bam for an entire week. I believe that line will be great; the question is whether sorci and Kuhrow will be able to pull their own weight and get the second line some wins.
5. Boston Celtics (0-6)

Unfortunately, I was right. I knew the users were good but I knew that having the Boston Celtics were going to make them have a miserable season. I will be very surprised if they even end up close to being .500. In Maccs defense, two of his best players retired on him. However, it is their fault for choosing the Celtics with the Hawks, Cavs, Nuggets, Pelicans, and Jazz all available. At this point, the biggest thing Macc can do is just get his team to show up for games. He has gone through a couple forfeits due to the situation with his team. Hopefully the second week will be favorable for him but I highly doubt it. There is no deep analysis I can go into due to the lack of games played. The one game they played, they got 40 pieced by the grizzlies and everyone shat the sheets; that was their best user line as well. I think its going to be a rough season for them. The best they can do is just show up. In terms of roster moves or trades, its going to be difficult to move anybody because everyone on his team is just people he knows. Therefore, the interest by other teams will be low. He is just going to have to stick it out and hopefully he does not end up 0-12.

Interview with DTM Koolaidz!

    DTM Koolaidz was a top tier QB in the old VFL/EFL days. This is his first season in the new VFL and after being drafted by the WFT, I asked him a few questions. 

QUESTION 1:

1. What brought you back to the VFL?

ANSWER:

About two weeks ago, there was a specific night in which I randomly started reminiscing about Madden. That may sound silly to some, but growing up Madden was one of my favorite games to play ever since Madden 11. I had invested so much time playing with my old crew in gamebattles and with a number of great individuals in the VFL that it’s just not something you forget about. So on this random night I actually started watching some of Mister ATM’s videos on YouTube, shoutout ATM he was one of the best WR’s during his time and also knew how to make some great videos. But then I started watching a lot of my old highlights and had come across Nate’s channel and his most recent video was titled “VFL Champion Chiefs” and I sat there completely puzzled. I had taken my break from Madden due to school and work and it caught me by surprise that the VFL had actually made a return. I did some research and later came across a reddit post that provided details about the league and how a new season was about to start. That’s when I decided to make a return from my two year hiatus and see if I can still compete with the best and return to my old form.

QUESTION 2:

How did the first week go for you and your line? Must’ve been difficult with just getting the new Xbox a week or 2 ago.

ANSWER:

We finished the week off 1-2, dissapointing to say the least because our line had complete potential to go 3-0. Tiger and Kavious are amazing players with great users and I’m still trying to get used to their play styles. It’s been slightly difficult but I would say it’s gone better than I had expected. The Madden IQ doesn’t just dissapear especially when you’re someone who’s been playing the game for 10+ years. Our one win was against TMO and for me that is a great accomplishment because he is considered one of the best defensive coordinators throughout the whole league. But once again, our first week could’ve gone better, it’s just on me to have performed better and to not have made as many mistakes as I did. 

 

QUESTION 3:

3. You’re on a team with 2 of the top lines in the league, do you feel any pressure from them?

ANSWER:

There’s always pressure to perform well, especially with how competitive the league is. A line could lose on any given night and it’s not a smart choice to undermine anyone. They had the Steelers ranked 10th after the draft and here they are with a great week one. I know how good Beaste and Champ’s lines are, but it’s important for our line to be able to match up with them and also perform well. Not only in the regular season but hopefully in the playoffs too.

 

QUESTION 4:

With the league being fresh for you, does it feel like the “old” days?

ANSWER:

Do you think you’ll be ready to get some clutch wins come playoff time?

ANSWER:

Hell yea. I know everyone has already had 3-4 seasons of playing in this Madden but once I start catching a rhythm best believe our line is going to be dangerous in the post season. I’m very fortunate now that I have a lot of free time to practice and get adjusted to things. On top of that, I feel having the opportunity to play everyone in the regular season will prepare me for what is to come.

Wont lie to you Abyss, almost every single day I feel like I’ve heard someone say that. Shit, I might’ve been guilty of that in the Old VFL days, being the stubborn, obnoxious teen that I once was. Confidence and competitiveness are great, we want to see that in the league but as I mentioned the trash talking and downplaying of others still feels rampant and at this point childish. A lot of us were much younger when we first started playing in the league and now we’re all in a new stage of our lives so you would hope that there is more sportsmanship and maturity shown between members.

Interview with Mizz, Bron, Sorci & Krab

With all the roster moves/drama that's happened within the first week for the Warriors. I caught up with King Mizzark, YoGuardBron, Viintage 2k & Stop A Krab for their comments on the situation.

Bron correct me if I'm wrong but, on draft night you were quoted as saying that you drafted the best team. With that in mind, if you did draft a great roster then what went wrong? Why trade Bama, Sorci & Krab?
"I never said I drafted the best team, the league said that for us in some content related post. Anyways we traded Bama because it was a neutral agreement, he wanted to heat to play with friends and we wanted one of our friends we were supposed to have on draft night. Sorci was bad with curry and krab was causing a lot of issues. He was in an argument with someone every game and me and mizz constantly kept getting dms about him and his attitude towards people."

Viintage 2k

Can you rate the warriors management on a scale of 1-10?
"Well they were at a 10 until right after week 1 and after impulsive decisions and from what I’ve seen communication wise, I’d have to drop it to a 6, mainly due to the GM."

Why do people think you played poorly with curry?
"To be honest I'm not sure where that came from, could I have shot more and been more aggressive at times? Yes, but with the situation, especially game 1 vs the nets, people were arguing the entire game and we went down 30 before halftime, hard to perform with that vibe and it carried on to every game that night. Other than that I took High IQ shots averaging about 15 assists a game winning the last two games not to mention we were down two starters week 1. In every practice / pre season game with our original 5 I was scoring more, and so was the team. The 5 for the warriors is the most crucial position, and Del has that down and was able to shoot consistently with looney, just allowing the offense to do so much more."

So on draft night the entire golden state roster was so happy go lucky & thought they had a god squad. With that being said in your opinion do you think Mizz/Bron drafted a good team but yall just couldnt gel? Also how do you think your line wouldve done record wise etc if Mizz/Bron kept yall together for the season?
"They drafted a great team, our line had no chemistry but we instantly had solid communication, and played great every game together. I think we played like 7-8 games together and lost once . We didn’t play with our full line once week 1 and still went 2-1 , so i personally think we had line 1 talent and would’ve gotten better week after week , losing maybe 1 game a week if that . I’d like to add with my time on the warriors, I only had 2 Ls, both to the nets."

So lets say if the original GSW line 1 & 2 played each other. who do you think would win & why?
"I’m going to have stay quiet on that one because unlike some people in this league I’ve learned to let go of having an ego, but Id have to say it would be a good ass game. One for the books if it’s to ever go down."

Do you think Bron is the Zeus of 2k?
"Absolutely not, with what that man put me threw I feel like I survived an R Kelly."

Are you excited to be in Miami? Can you tell me your expectations for the team?
"Beyond excited, all the players are easygoing, management knows what they’re doing, high expectations for this team."



Stop A Krab

Can you rate the warriors management on a scale of 1-10?
"4"
Could you elaborate on that?
"Sure thing, I give them a 4 based on how they drafted and the lines they put together. As far as actually team managing goes it’s below average, we were Undefeated with an original line on the court and always were things brought up. Teams are going to argue that’s how it goes. Also, they asked me to play Draymond and I said I will give it a try, after having 2 eh games with him I decided it wasn’t the best fit for me and I asked to be moved back to Wiggins where I had success at before. They chose logic (a guy who’s very new to the game ) over me for that position. Never onced listened to a word I said, called me a bad teammate although I said I would like a trade but if I need to stay I will. Painting me to be a villain."

People around the league & also players on GSW have quoted in saying you've been a freak & a toxic individual all season. Is this true? If it's not then why do most view you as a toxic individual?
"There are different ways of being toxic, I come from the comp pro-am scene, I don’t take losing lightly, or when there mental mistakes being made that shouldn’t be made I don’t let that slip. I’m not a yes man or anything like that if I see something I’m going to speak up on it
That might view people differently."

So i heard that you were very proud of scoring 35 on Johnnywheels. Is this True?
"I had a game and carried us to win. As I stated multiple times to you and the others I have had many good games with Wiggins before that game. I can provide screenshots if needed also."

How good of a player do you think Sorci is? Do you think he can be that GUY? Or is he just a role player?
"I believe he can be a good player not sure about “that guy “ or not but his offense is there just needs to pay attention on defense a lot more and learn how to pass a little better."

If the original line 1 & 2 from GSW played in a game. who would win & why?
"Not sure. I believe it would be a lot closer than they would assume. Mizz is a better curry than Sorci, Bron is a little better than Rivals , I’m way better than any Wiggins they have, Del is better than Gee. So I think played right it would be a close game but hey, I gotta say us right?"

So you got traded to Boston for Big Wadeo. Who do you think won that trade? Also whats your expectations with the Celtics?
"I have heard of Wadeo from 2k godz , I don’t think he’s very good, so I definitely think Celtics won this trade, and I have already been told I will have a big role with this team. I saw that we were 0 and 6 and I’m looking to change that around this week. Got an owner who wants to win and grow as a team so we will get right for sure"

Do you think Bron is the Zeus of 2k?
"Absolutely not LMAO."
Can you elaborate on that? If not that's fine.
"To be the Zeus of something you gotta be a “god” at it. He’s not a bad player but he damn sure isn’t the god of 2k."

With week 1 in the books, we take a look at players that shi* on the competition and also players that shi* themselves. 

5 Players that Shi* on the Competition Week 1

 

1. Beachmode: Alongside behe and cjmarjr, these guys went 3-0 for the projected last place team in the preseason. They had a dominate game against the Dolphins who had their GM (kuhrow) and Max bid (Gabe) in the game alongside the reigning RBOTY (justt smoove) from season 4. They also took down Grof’s line and Drock’s line respectively.

 

2. Grandpa Warpath: This son of a bitch finally survived week 1 without being traded. 3-0 for the week and didn’t get moved for a pile of monkey shit? Sounds like a pretty good week to me.

 

3. Woohdy: The league leading rusher is a free agent? He had the best week by any other running back averaging 12.2 yards per carry and he’s sitting on the bench? Will someone else pick this dude up or is he gonna be the ECU of the century?

 

4. Dfeetu44: Moving to WR DB this season has been good for dfeet. He’s leading the league in defensive INTs and had a good week at WR. I know the opposing teams are disappointed that he’s not lined up at QB anymore.

 

5. Kuhrow, king jon and king logic all went 1-2 but had dominate performances on the DL. If they can continue to pressure the QB and stop the run at a high rate, I’m sure their records will improve over the next couple of weeks. 

5 Players that Shi* themselves Week 1

 

1. T1 Anime: After averaging 1.9 Yards per carry on 25 rush attempts, I can see why the dolphins dropped Anime. Hopefully he can gain another roster spot and prove that he can compete at the RB position.

 

2. Sir Bottomis: With an 0-3 week 1 and a league leading 11 picks thrown.. The Steelers owner needs to step his game up and get a couple wins in week 2. If he doesn’t start winning, I suggest a position change.

 

3. Gabe ily: One of the best WR DL players in the league made the move to QB and a Max bid for the dolphins. gabe went out and got massacred by the Steelers. Then he put up 3 points in a 6-3 loss to Beaste. Word on the street is he was so trash that he was replaced by Blunkey vs the Colts (a game in which the dolphins won). 

 

4. McCoy252: Losing 59-7 is embarrassing but I have to applaud him for not quitting the game. He also lost 32-14 to the WFT. No stats have been entered yet, but I know gamegreen will be entering them soon. The only shining moment for McCoy week 1 was beating Hutch, Jon and Areis.

 

5. Ty and Myself the last game of the week. I mean we absolutely pooped our pants that game. The ugliest game of madden I’ve ever had the displeasure of playing. Both QBs should’ve just punted the ball on first down every possession to try and get some points on defense. The score was 14-2 Bengals on defense and 6-3 Bengals on Offense. For a max bid and a top 2 drafted QB, that was pathetic.

Interview with MEOW GROF!

    The reigning, defending, undisputed VFL Season 4 Champion….. MEOW…. GROFFFF. The owner of the Season 4 Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers, took the time to answer a few questions.

QUESTION 1:

Your season 4 Packers surprised almost everyone with a super bowl victory. Ty, Sacrifice and you were the 3 QBs. This season your 3 QBs are: you, Aceboogs and a brand new player to the team, mocarbone. Do you like what you’ve seen from the QB position so far this season?

ANSWER:

So far out of the QB position i’ve seen Ace put together 2 really solid wins where he balled out and one loss against a familiar face in Kuhrow who knows Aces offense like the back of his hand. Overall very impressed. Mocarbone, although i haven’t watched his games clearly needed a change of pace and I think that resides perfectly with ibprofam and highwalkr so i’m excited to see how they can make Mo more comfortable. As far as my performance goes it’s been relatively abysmal but we have a game plan and stick to it which has us competing in every game we play.

QUESTION 2:

After a big win against IR Brady, northside and Dfeetu, do you believe your line can match up well with any line in the league?

ANSWER:

The game against Brady, North and Dfeet was a prime example of how we want to play and frankly how we have to play to matchup against these top lines. Make it sloppy for them on offense, throw weird looks at them and take advantage of the turnovers. The beautiful thing about my line is we have the capability of both beating and losing to anyone in the league. Can never count on us but can’t ever count us out. Although we have had some locker room issues with our handsomely salaried hype man (MeoW Moj) that we have to work out if we want to be successful going forward. 

 

QUESTION 3:

Which player on your team has impressed you the most through this first week?

ANSWER:

Throughout week one the player that has most impressed me both in and out of game has been MarcDog, he’s a name i recognized from back in the day but never had any rapport with. After playing games with him and deciding to make the switch to WR/LB so he can call defense i’ve quickly come to understand that he can hand with the best of the DCs in this league and he always brings good vibes. Huge pickup.

 
 

QUESTION 4:

Who do you think will match up in the super bowl for season 5?

ANSWER:

I think almost everyone fully expects it to be a WFT vs Bengals super bowl but what kind of owner would I be if I didn’t say us? I’ll go for a surprise pick and go Colts vs Eagles. Warpaths ass is mine.

 

QUESTION 5:

If you were on the staff, in which ways would you try to improve the league moving forward?

ANSWER:

If I were on staff I would try to facilitate ideas towards formatting and integration of ad revenue, potentially figuring a way to move everything that happens on discord to the website so the traffic is all there which will heavily benefit the league in the long run.

Highwalkr used to show me his bank statements and paychecks but i’ve since then stopped asking to see and as long as the lights in my house stay on I know he’s fronting the bill for me. Another man’s finances are none of my business, all I know is he puts food on my table (wagyu steak tonight) and I put rusty on his line, we have a beautiful symbiotic relationship that I treasure.

Interview with TXjamesSmithTX

    After a controversial season 1 and retirement/blacklist from the VFL, James is back and looking to get in a groove and help the Falcons make a Super Bowl run. I asked James a few questions about coming back from such a long hiatus, this is what he had to say.

QUESTIONS 1 AND 2:

First off, how did your week 1 go? Did your line exceed your expectations or were you right on track?

Have you been playing madden at all since your longggg time off?

ANSWER:

with me being away from madden since season one of the league its been an adjustment. havnt played any madden in that time. so the adjustment has been rough. we went 1-2 my stat line was ok but the adjustment has been even more difficult having to come back and play for a team that has 0 wr and a noodle arm qb.

 

 

QUESTION 3:

Is there anyone in the league you’d like to match up against?

ANSWER:

right now im in no position to call anyone out i am excited to get to the playoffs after shaking off some rust and getting back in the groove its going to be a long season for me though thats for sure

 

 

QUESTION 4:

Who do you think will match up in the super bowl this season?

ANSWER:

im not sure who will be in the super bowl this season like i stated before me being gone for a while there is a lot of gamertag changes and new faces around. so trying to predict a superbowl team is ruff but from the guys ik and am aware of and madden team standpoint ik the bengals are going to be fravorites not only do they have one of the better madden teams in the league they have a strong roster with yourself and other good foundational players.

 

 

QUESTION 5:

What do you need to do to help your team make a run in the playoffs?

ANSWER:

the biggest thing especially after week one, we are all struggling with matt ryan and no wr its tuff being on atlanta with no dline no wr its a struggle. so the main focus as of now is figuring out how to win games when we cant go down the field and playing defense with no pass rush if we can figure that out we will be able to squeeze in the playoffs.

 

 

ANSWER:

im going to keep it 100. I was accused of altering the playbook to give myself an advantage in the league. everyone who has been around the league from the beginning know who i am and i have been apart of staff and even commissioner year in and year out and have always tried to do whats best for the league and always wanted to be apart of the growth of the league. this is a place ive loved to play in since ive been here. and to be accused of doing something so petty just bc the people in charge (outaker) did not want to take accountability for there simple mistake was absolutely appalling to me. instead wanted to shift blame to myself even though the constitution stated “Last edited by outaker” weeks before this altercation took place. this was an attack on my character and my reputation that i had built up in this league for a very long time should i have left probably not but i felt so much disrespect that some one could consider me the type of person that would do something like that so i left. after everything i did for the league to help get it running. from organizing discord helping with the stat system and scheduling i tried to and did help outaker at every corner. Just to become a scape goat was a slap in the face i hold no grudges for the situation it still gets me upset that it happened but we have to be forgiving God is good and we move on.

B Im not sure on what position these players are. I know mocarbone from back in the day and he was a player who will show up and play his part. this is a trade that definitely does not hurt either team and should be beneficial for the players as well moving into week 2. A B- C+

With the steelers receiving never practice and saints just smoove this are two decent acquisitions for the teams. But no one can know why each person got moved but there is nothing better than fixing your locker room. From the outlooks it looks like the dolphins have upgraded their lineup they have made many moves in week one definitely a win for the dolphins. Especially for the dline gathering a veteran dlinman like outaker is a win couple that with a solid RB in fig neither being a locker room issue this should smoove some things over for the dolphins. As for never practices aka rivals. He is a solid player i hear that he may have to take an IR in the future. This is something that may effect things in the future. Just smoove is just a man that is happy to be out of mia. all reports state that he wanted to be shipped out of miami and now that wish has been granted. We shall see what the levies hold in NO.

With the change coming before their first week nate has had three games in at DLINE. Although the change was sudden it came due to a simple line adjustment. With realest moving to WR so Nate could stay at RB and nate made the move to DLine bc realest calls the defense. So it was a win win for the line as unit. As of the end of week one Nate is sitting with 8 sacks. Q&A i was able to chat with nate and asked him how he felt at dline. A: It feels good I want to be on defense more than offense I feel like I left a couple plays out there so I know there's room for improvement I just wanna get better

Gabe ILY

QB to RB

Another position change in Mia. Again coming off a struggling week they are looking to shake things up. Gabe just could not hack it at with playing 2 games going 0-2 completing 14-22 passes throwing 2 ints both going back for tds costing them big. This was a main reason for the 0-2 record he holds. With the switch coming in he will now be backpacking off the qb works ebok/kobe maybe not having the ball in hand to start he can manage to scrape some wins together. But with kobe already going 2-1 in week one it cant change to much for them. What is in store for the other two lines we will be waiting to find out.

KOBE interview 

I tracked down the owner of the dolphins to see how he felt about his max bid switching position off QB to RB. Q:how he felt about his max bid changing positions?. “Gabe is a stupid shi**er who is used to getting carried by everyone for his entire VFL career. Abyss & Breesuss had to put him in the backpack just so gabe could keep his ego. Now he’s beggin DADDY to come save his season. It’s pathetic cuz i expected gabe to have a top tier season at QB but now i’m sittin here with a useless max bid. I honestly might trade him by the end of the season.” Q: How do you feel your other two lines will do now that your max bid has moved off of QB? Blunkey is going to play good & win games with fig & outaker on his line. Awesome is getting a new line with him, accountant & try so i have faith in them to put together some wins. I expect us to put together winning weeks but you never know what’ll happen. Q:With new lines coming in. i know you said you have faith in them to get some wins do you expect to have a flipped week next week? i know your team only got three wins this week what are your projections for week two with your current changes? I expect my line to go 9-0 for the rest of the season. Only way we’ll lose is if i shit it up at QB. Blunkey & awesome have been in the lab so i can see the dolphins going 6-3 next week.

Day one Games, Blowouts and Shockers.

Steelers Start 3-0

After night one of games we have had some shocking finishers. Number one being the Steelers starting the season 3-0 with QB Beach mode playing all three games and finishing some nail biters. With two walk off touchdowns coming in the last 20 seconds. And a blow out win vs the Dolphins. This is a shocking start for the steelers considering there was a strong consensus for the Steelers being the worst team starting the season. That being said the steelers look to be on a war path to prove many wrong with beach mode carrying his weight will his team be able to follow suit in the coming nights. This is a big question among most teams. This is something that many are going to be anxious to watch in the coming days.

I was able to catch up with beach mode after his games last night and asked him

Q; How do you feel about your games last night starting 3-0

“Last night was the epitome of team victories. Constantly communicating defensive adjustments and actually carrying out the play to get the victories. We never felt out of any game. CJ & I took a lot of tips and coaching from a veteran player like xBehe and it translated to the field. I myself had 4 TDs & 1 int on the night and completed about 80% of my passes. Game 1 & 2 we scored with 8 sec or less for the W. Proud of the line as a whole and I look forward to a great season.”

Q: Alot of people see behe as being known for his toxicity is that true? and if so does that make it tough playing through such things

A: I don’t find xBehe to be toxic at all he just keeps it real. Sometimes people have a hard time with the truth. He’s a veteran player and truly has knowledge to share. He legitimately knows his shit.

This being the only shutout of the night with the saints absolutely destroying the dolphins. With self proclaimed “Goat” Kuhrow getting absolutely blasted. Defense being non existent and the offense producing the same, The Dolphins are starting the season 0-3 with nothing to show for a good user roster in hand. On the other hand the Saints absolutely showed out in this game. With a complete shutdown defense. There is no better feeling than holding your opponent to 0, Nilch, Nada. As much of an embarrassment this should be for the dolphins this is a Hype time moment for the saints, Shutting down an offense with so many weapons to absolutely zero points and doing so in such fashion is definitely something to hang your hat on.

This game was the hardest league game i have ever had to watch in my entire career. The Falcons played the worst Madden I have ever seen. On the very first snap of the game the Falcons QB threw an interception. And many more were to follow when the first half finished the Falcons QB had accumulated 4 ints and this was just the beginning of many more to come. But with the second half looming the answer to throwing 4 ints was not to run the football but to throw more. With black supersayin as a rb and only getting 5 carries and having to just watch your qb throw the game away must be absolutely disheartening. As much as i would like to give all the credit to the bengals for this game i am afraid any lineup could have done this to this team. But the onslaught did not stop with the ints the Falcons had also given up two safeties in this game just to add to the horror of a madden match that has became. The flacons line had also given up a sack in previous games. This is something that must change moving forward they must run the ball if they are going to get any wins in the future
